Vuolos Interview Austin

Joy Forsyth few to Los Angeles with Gideon, Evelyn, and Gunner to visit Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo. They enjoyed warmer temperatures and quality family time just weeks ahead of Jinger's due date, which is in late March. Austin joined them for a short time, and he was also invited to join the Vuolos as a guest on their podcast. In this 50-minute episode, Jinger and Jeremy ask Austin about his courtship with Joy, his theological differences with Jeremy, his family's appearance in one episode of a show called "World's Strictest Parents," and various other topics. It is interesting to hear Austin's insider perspective on the show that his family participated in 16 years ago and how that experience caused him to be skeptical of reality TV shows.

    1. I cannot imagine Joy and Austin moving to such a liberal state.

    2. Me neither! I could see Jill and Derick maybe moving out there, but Joy and Austin seem like the most conservative out of all the couples. They also really seem to love the rural lifestyle.

    3. @9:30 I think Ben and Jessa are the most conservative of the couples we see. I agree they like a more rural setting.

    1. Actually, when you're down to this level of content, it's time to hang up the mike. I don't know what made any of the Duggars think they could do podcasts. It's like any of us trying to do them. We don't have anything worthy enough to fill an hour, let alone think anyone would want to listen to that. It takes a pretty big ego to think that what you have to say needs to be broadcast. Call a friend. Write a journal. Talk directly to your spouse. Anything but make a podcast.

    1. Justine is not a sister. She just likes to feel part of the family. Avid fan.

  6. Is Justine a Duggar? Someone please explain she says on here she is?

    1. She is not a Duggar! She is an extreme fan who wishes she was part of the Duggar family.

  7. If Austin is working in CA right now, how can he do that? He's not licensed for construction in CA.

  8. I don't want to listen to that "what about Joy" explanation again because it breaks my heart for her that he is so cold and clinical when it comes to romance. It's like he was planning a military mission not falling in love right along with a girl who'd forever want to be his wife. I wonder how she feels about being his Plan B?

  9. Jinger may be 31 but she always seems like a teenager. Or like someone who didn't have a chance to be a teenager and is trying it now. Same could be said of the other Duggar kids. Late adolescents.

  10. I loved hearing Austin's point of view. Also that he and Jeremey have different views but still are great friends. I thought it was a really good podcast.
