Jana's Bachelorette Trip

Happy Thanksgiving to our readers in the United States! We hope you have a wonderful day celebrating with family and friends.

For her bachelorette trip, Jana Duggar flew to California with a group of Duggar ladies just a couple weeks before her wedding. Michelle Duggar, Joy-Anna Forsyth, Jessa Seewald and baby George, Abbie Duggar, Johannah Duggar, Jennifer Duggar, Jordyn Duggar, and Josie Duggar all headed to the West Coast to visit Jinger Vuolo. Their journey began with a run-in with local law enforcement, but they didn't miss their flight. While in California, Michelle confronted a thief. Jana just uploaded footage from the trip to her YouTube account.

  1. I guess Jana hasn't heard that Jinger's kids are never shown online.

    1. What is said................what is done. About that far apart.

    2. Don't any of the Duggars know what AI is capable of doing? Don't they watch the news? That alone should make anyone think twice about posting videos, social media pictures, anything.

  2. Oh that was so fun to watch!!! So happy to see you all have such a great time. Michelle is looking so young and Josie is looking like a beautiful young woman. Thank you for sharing the joy with us! 🙂

  3. I thought the Duggars knew Spanish. "Vaca" means "cow." They stayed in a cow rental.

    1. They wanted to sound hip but don't know how to spell "vacay."

  4. Was Jill not invited?!

  5. I wonder if Jana and Abbie have a special bond since Abby is married to Jana’s twin. :)

  6. The Duggar shows really captured my heart. I'm glad Jana is still sharing. Now it is still interesting to 'go along', following the duggar clan around as they proceed.
A whole lotta fun and really enjoyed their video! :)

  7. You don't run down a thief and confront them. These people have no street smarts. The whole world is not small-town Arkansas. Someone could have gotten injured or worse.

    1. Totally agree. No common sense!

    2. Very lucky a knife wasn't pulled out on her.

    3. You confront a criminal and you can end up on the evening news. Call the police and stay out of it!

    4. Right??? Especially in California

  8. If you're caught speeding, you should get a ticket, period. You don't giggle and charm your way out of what you did wrong. You accept the consequences of your chosen actions like an adult. It looks like the area police play favorites, especially if Jim Bob is involved.

  9. Maybe the person who stole the wallet was just curious about what was in it.

    1. Oh you sweet summer child! Why would they steal something out of curiousity? They wanted the money!

    2. Isn't that the Duggar answer for why people do things they shouldn't?

    3. @8:07 Yes, and you can take that to court too if needed.

    4. Perhaps Michelle wanted to suggest to the thief a good house-building program?

  10. That must have been fun. Too bad Jill wasn't there! I bet the youngest girls are getting big.

  11. Michelle really stood up to that thief! She is an impressive lady who seems quite kind.

    1. Michelle could have been injured or lost her life over a silly wallet. Let the police handle those matters. Sure, give the police info and maybe tail the subject from a distance while on the phone with the police, but never directly accuse someone who just committed a crime!

    2. Maybe she's learned to speak out after not doing so years ago.

    3. Michelle may have had good intentions, but she was lucky that things turned out the way they did. Usually intervening in something like that doesn't turn out well.

    4. She can write a letter to the judge to ask for leniency for that pickpocket.

  12. It looks like they had fun. It makes me sad that Jill didn't go. Either because she wasn't invited and or she chose not to go. Jana and Jill were really close. Family dynamics can be interesting, glad they had fun.

    1. Since she wasn’t part of the wedding party and the last two years Jill showed such negative energy towards the family, exhibited by her book and interviews, not sure why you would be surprised she wasn’t invited.

      Delete
    2. Jill has three children and perhaps did not have child care...her husband has a 9 to 5 job. Who was paying for the trip...maybe she couldn't afford it. Things with her sisters have seemed ok.

    3. I thought the Duggars believed in forgiveness? They sure want to forgive their oldest son. Why not Jill? Or better yet, admit that what was in Jill's book was actually what they did to her, then apologize.

    4. 2:25. It looks like the parents have forgiven Jill, the rest is up to her.

  13. Why were they all giggling like 10-year-olds when Jana got pulled over?

  15. Looked liked a fun trip with all Jana’s sisters, except Jill, plus Michelle, George and Abbie. Michelle looks so young, she doesn’t seem to age. Everyone seemed to be having a great time. What a beautiful home and location in Santa Barbara, how nice you could stay in a multi million dollar home. Good for Michelle in stopping a shoplifter.

  16. Jill was not invited in that trip?

    1. So it seems. But George got to go instead.

    2. I don’t think anyone is surprised Jill was not invited, she wasn’t in the wedding.

    3. Jill’s choices are going to have consequences that affect other people including her in their lives. I think Jana handled it perfectly. She’s her sister so she’s invited to the wedding, but the bachelorette party is supposed to be a relaxing and fun time. Jill makes it not a safe space to chat and enjoy each other. It brings in an unfair element

      Delete
    4. We have no way of knowing if she was invited or not. Perhaps she was and it did not work for her schedule. We do not know the situation.

    5. JILL WAS AT THE WEDDING 💒 OK STOP!!!!!!

      Delete
    6. 2:14. Well put..that’s exactly right. Jana didn’t invite Jill on the intimate bachelorette party trip, since she wasn’t invited to be in Jana’s wedding party. Jill’s choices have consequences, and I agree this is one of them.

      Delete
    7. @2:14 Do you know for certain that Jill wasn't invited to the bachelorette party? It's rather pointless to assume anything.

      Delete
    8. @2:14 Jill didn't choose to be treated the way she was by her parents. That has consequences for the parents, too.

  17. The highlight of the video has to be Michelle chasing down the thief! Love it, lol! All these ladies are so beautiful and George is adorable! Love Abbie’s blonde curls! Glad everyone had fun!

  18. The snub to Jill was pretty obvious, but family dynamics being what they are, it was probably for the best that she didn't go on the trip.

    1. It’s hard to be so relaxed and free, as the ladies appear to be on this trip, when you have to watch every thing you say in case Jill might end up using it in another book. In her book she referred to her brothers coming over and trying to help them resolve their issues and how irritated it made Jill and Derrick. Many of us know it’s hard to trust a family member once we feel betrayed. Jill has talked about having to make boundaries with her family, obviously her family is also feeling the need to make boundaries with Jill.

      Delete
    2. @8:51 Who betrayed whom? Hmmm

      Delete
    3. 8:51 If someone is worried that their behavior will be used in another book, then maybe they need to examine their behavior!

      Delete
    4. 8:51 yes they all seemed to be having a terrific time and I can’t imagine that Jill would think she would be invited on this carefree trip to celebrate Jana when she wasn’t even invited to be part of the wedding party. I support Jana and the other sisters in having a drama free trip without Jill.

      Delete
    5. @12:07 Drama-free? Only guilty people have to worry about being exposed or creating drama. If you've behaved yourself, you have nothing to worry about. Jill was given plenty to expose. If others in the family thought that was drama, then they're the guilty ones, not Jill.

  19. Despite all the word salad the Duggars and Dillards put out, it's obvious there's a fundamental issue that can't be resolved. However, since Jill was at the wedding it appears she and Jana are not on bad terms with each other.

    1. 3:15 yeah, the fact that Jill wrote the book and did all the interviews, I imagine things will never be fully resolved.. The only chance for that would have been before she wrote all the personal information in the book. Jana is a lovely Christian woman and she was gracious in inviting Jill to the wedding. It’s possible things could be improved with Jill and the family, only time will tell.

    2. I don't think Jim Bob will ever admit that he shortchanged Jill and used her for ratings on the show and on that "special" she had to do. It's pretty bad when your parents let you down and don't prioritize your feelings (or prioritize one sibling over others). I can understand Jill speaking out and setting the record straight. Unfortunately, she didn't make up the things that happened to her that she told about in her book.

  20. Jill has made such a point of continuing to say that she wants her boundaries from the family. It makes sense that the family is making their own boundaries with Jill, that’s probably why she wasn’t invited.

  22. Until you are sure Jill wasn't invited keep your comments to yourself. They are hurtful, maybe she didn't want to go.

    1. 2:01 Everyone is entitled to their comments. Obviously Jana wanted a stress free, drama free bachelorette party, and she had no obligation to invite Jill, since she wasn’t a part of the wedding party. It was classy of Jana to invite Jill to her wedding, considering Jill’s behavior towards the family.

      Delete
    2. Since the Duggars don't read these comments, their feelings aren't going to be hurt. People are allowed to speculate on Jill's rather conspicuous absence you know.

  23. Why most answers have so much anger? I hope christianity is not full of anger and people ready to attack each other just because they comment in a blog!!

    1. I agree. This used to be a blog visited by people who liked the Duggars...not it's full of hateful comments.

    2. I think your perception that answering comments are "angry" is inaccurate. People often have very different opinions about the same matter. Simply expressing a different view is not a demonstration of anger or an attack.
