George Augustine Seewald

If you read our previous post, you know that Jessa gave birth to her fifth child, a boy. We posted the first segment of the birth story. She and Ben just released the second segment, in which they introduce their older children to the baby and share the gender with them. They also reveal the name. Welcome, George Augustine Seewald!

Boy, Boy, Girl, Girl, BOY!

Baby Seewald #5 arrived on December 19th, which means that Jessa and Ben were finally able to reveal the secret that they had been keeping for the last several months of Jessa's pregnancy. It's a boy! This little guy joins two older brothers and two older sisters. 

Even though he is the youngest, he was the biggest at birth, weighing in at 9 lbs 14 oz just a few days before his due date. Spurgeon Seewald weighed 9 lbs 11 oz, Henry Seewald weighed 8 lbs 11 oz, Ivy Seewald weighed 7 lbs 14 oz, and Fern Seewald weighed 8 lbs 5 oz. Jessa's birth story has just been uploaded to YouTube.

 

Jessa's Due Date and More

With her due date less than two weeks away, Jessa Seewald is ready to share details about her pregnancy and upcoming delivery. Her due date is December 22nd, which is the exact day last year when she and Ben found out that they had lost their baby.
