The Duggars have a newly announced blessing to be grateful for this Thanksgiving. Jessa and Ben Seewald aren’t the only ones with a new baby in the way! Jeremiah and Hannah Duggar, who married in March 2022 and welcomed Brynley Duggar on Christmas Day, are expecting their second child. So far, the couple has not announced their due date.
Yay! So excited for them!
ReplyDeleteThat's nice. Was anyone surprised by this?
ReplyDeleteOnly surprised that she got pregnant again so soon.

ReplyDeleteGood news. Is this Granduggar 33 or 34? I keep losing count.
ReplyDeleteThis will be Michelle & Jim Bob's 33rd Grandchild.
DeleteCongratulations with your expectancy news. Blessings to you all.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Jeremiah and Hannah Duggar on baby #2. Hopefully I will get to see a video of your bundle of joy. I pray for a safe, healthy and happy delivery
ReplyDeleteOn a side note I know that most of you have youtube channels but my dad and I wish to see you all have a show on cable TV hopefully with the family. We love and miss you.

DeleteCongrats to Jer & Hannah

You get to control your own content on YouTube. You don't get to do that if you have a cable TV show. So do you really wish they were back under control of a network? Didn't really work out the last time, did it.
DeleteYou have not included your name, but I remember your posts...they will not be back on cable TV.
DeleteThis is going to happen every year like clockwork unless they come to their senses and put the brakes on. Her poor body will be wrung out. I really worry for a woman's physical and mental health when she tries something like this. It strains the marriage, too. And the finances. I don't want to hear about "blessings." It's no blessing when you're exhausted, hurting, stressed, and worrying because you've got a bunch of kids a year apart and your energy is gone. She's bringing this on herself.
ReplyDeleteThis is only their 2nd, so knock it off. I had 4 in 4 years, then was done. Don't make assumptions!
DeleteBest comment, knowing what you can handle emotionally and financially is the greatest blessing.
Delete@ 5:05 Did you experience this personally? The many kids and a woman’s body being born out? A ruined marriages because of a fruitful life? I have five kids after 7 years of marriage and we couldn’t be happier, I am in great physical shape and hope to have more kids if it is God’s will. Children are a huge blessing and God has never ceased to provide for us.
DeleteI agree. Have to wonder if her husband would allow her to use BC…
DeleteI'm guessing this couple knows how babies are created and are willing to take the risks.
DeleteThey don't roll that way. They have babies in rapid succession because they think "God is in control of the womb.".
DeleteSo true about all the stresses. But of course the Duggars won't talk about this or put it on their YouTube. Jessa tried one time to show what "real" life was like with babies and toddlers, and mistakenly included a photo of the stack of used diapers that nobody had thrown out. She never did that again. I'm sure there's a lot more of that kind of stuff going on that they don't show. They never film at 3am with 2 or 3 kids sick and crying and pregnant sleepy Mom at the end of her rope. But you know that's what happens when you have kids one right after the other. Life isn't always Instagram-worthy, despite what they want you to think.
DeleteIf they feel it's their blessing, than it is! No our place to say. It's up to them whether they want large families or not.
Delete@9:47 God provides for you? How does that happen? And why doesn't it happen for everyone? Please explain poverty in this context.
Delete@2:13 Allowing?! It’s her body! She gets to decide everything, not her husband.
Delete@12:33 But do they ever think what impact large families have? If they go to public school, that's more space needed. If they use any sort of public assistance for health care or food, that's added burden on the tax payers. If they don't grow their own food, that's added need to produce resources for them. They drive bigger vehicles that use more gas and pollute more air. They need more clothes. They need bigger housing. They need more healthcare. It may be up to them to have a large family, but it's up to the rest of us to cope with that later.
DeleteActually any family has that impact on society. I’m going to guess but there are a lot more single parent non working households then there are large families that burden tax payers.
Delete1:41, they also become more tax payers
DeleteNot everyone has or wants children. So as far as population goes, they are making up for the ones who haven't had any, which evens it out,no? The fact that it bothers anyone is what amazes me. It would be different if they were asking you personally to support their family, but they aren't.
Delete@11:06 Not if they hold church services in their house.
DeleteSo it's always about sweet that are taking away things. But what about those that have 400 pairs of shoes and so many clothes they need an extra house for them or many many cars? Don't hear you complaining about them
DeleteCongrats!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, to Hannah & Jeremiah!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, like instead of making mommy and daddy proud, it is okay not to have kids or just one kid. There's a lot of people who can't have kids or can't afford them. But they can't. I understand they have money to take care of a big family, but they need to be considerate and fit in with society better.
ReplyDeleteFit in society better? There won't be a society if people don't reproduce.
DeleteTo 8:45am,seriously??? Just who are they supposed to consider outside of their own family? You? That's quite the ego you have going on there. The next time you have a personal decision to make, you had better consult it with me and everyone else on here first. Lol What a joke.
DeleteFirst of all, it's about what you and your spouse or partner can handle and still give the children everything they need emotionally and physically. Then it's about your place in society and not being a burden but contributing more than you take. I don't think the Duggars take any of that into consideration before having more and more babies. Theirs is a very selfish system. I don't see a lot of maturity either before the Duggar kids start producing endless babies. They don't take the time to mature before marrying and with marriage come the babies immediately. It's not the optimal system, no matter what some people might say.
DeleteMaybe they're doing it to make themselves happy because children are a blessing for them not because their parents ordered them to do so.
DeleteWhat?? They are 2 married adults, they can have as many children as they want. Just because someone else can’t physically have or can’t afford to doesn’t mean they can’t. Has nothing to do with being considerate or to “fit” in society better.
DeleteMaybe you should be considerate by being more tolerant of other peoples' choices.
DeleteWhat are you talking about?? They wanted to have more kids. Screw this environmental carbon footprint nonsense! It's all a lie. How is it inconsiderate? It's normal for grandparents to be proud of having grandkids.
DeleteLol we should all have many kids and tick off this angry liberal π
DeleteSome people.can never be happy ππ
Delete@8:45 I agree. @5:15 If you only produce children to tick off liberals, then I feel really sorry for you. No wonder the country's in a mess.
DeleteThe number of children are not limited by our culture or our government...yet. Parents need to be able to care for their children emotionally and physically, themselves not dependent on the older kids. I think the Duggars were outside of their ability to parent all of their children...that's just an opinion.
DeleteGod Himself encouraged us to multiply :)
Delete@5:15 Go right ahead. We'll keep donating to our favorite causes, shopping at the stores we like, and voting our way. You're just making more work for yourselves.
DeleteNewsflash, parents: The world is not impressed by how many kids you manage to push out. Try going for quality over quantity. (Plus the quality of parenting I've seen lately is abysmal.)
DeleteSelfish. That's the word I've been trying to think of for years. That's what bothered me watching CO but I couldn't put my finger on it. Selfish lifestyle with selfish consumption.
Delete12:05. Baby is a gift…abortion is selfish…selfish consumption is when you get rid of a gift, like a baby.
DeleteSometimes it seems you don't keep up with the Duggars at all and only post news after someone here has already mentioned it.
ReplyDeleteGood for them!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Jer and Hannah on Baby #2! Almost forgot their daughter was born on Christmas last year. At least Brynley will be over 1 year old when the new baby comes. Anymore secret grandkids due in 2024? Been wondering when Justin and Claire will announce a pregnancy when they have been married nearly 3 years.
ReplyDeleteJust maybe they don't desire to have children, not everyone does. Or maybe they are just enjoying being a couple for now. They are both still young, there is plenty of time for babies.
DeleteClaire has said she and Justin aren't ready to have children
Delete@11:05 When has that ever stopped any other Duggar?
DeleteWell since Jeremiah is always one step behind Jedidiah, I suppose baby # 3 for Jed and Katey will be announced sooner rather then later. Congrats Jer and Hannah!
ReplyDeleteThis is not a race! Although Jim Bob has said the one with the most kids inherits the big house...
DeleteNeddy Constant
DeleteCongrats to them again
Time 5:01AM Fri 12/1/23
9:25 that comment about the house was also brought up by Derrick, he even said Jim Bob said it in a joking way. Wouldn’t it be terrible if every statement we made was criticized and taken out of context by a bitter daughter and son-in -law. Children are a blessing from the Lord, for sure.
DeleteNo parent should tie an inheritance to whether or not you could produce a gaggle of kids, just because! Jim Bob's idea is ridiculous.
DeleteThey'd inherit the big house obviously because it will have more room :). He's taken care of his family
Delete@3:33 Nine times out of ten, when Jim Bob says something in a "joking" way, he's NOT joking...
DeleteTrue 3:37. How many times did we hear him blurt out something on camera he probably shouldn't have then laugh, but there was a ring of truth in it?
DeleteI hope you find time to update the birthday list, I noticed some of the babies aren't on it yet. I love this website. Keeping up with the younger family members is so hard nowadays, so I visit this page now and then to see what's new, thank you for your time and effort!
ReplyDeleteSo happy for ya'll. What a blessing!
ReplyDeleteBrynley, wow.
ReplyDeleteHEY HANNA , TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF, BUT YOUR FEET UP, AND I LOVE U FAB 4!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhen the Lord said to go forth and multiply, He did not mean have as many babies as possible, He meant to go and spread the faith among the population of the Earth (who are already here) and for Christianity to grow. (Multiply the believers and preach to all nations.)
ReplyDelete3:30, no, that command was given in the book of Genesis - there was no Christianity yet. It was literally referring to populating the earth.
DeleteThere's such a thing as too much of a good thing. What religion teaches you to suspend reality and bring upon yourself a situation that will cause you distress?
