One of the Duggar couples just shared some BIG news. Jedidiah and Katey Duggar are expecting their second child! Their first, Truett, was born in May 2022, and this baby is due in May 2023 (the day after Joy's third, which is a boy).
The happy couple made the big reveal to the Duggar family at their annual ugly Christmas sweater party (video link below).

ReplyDeleteExcept this is the place for all comments - it says Comments right above - and you really can't expect everyone to have one opinion only. Some people are concerned because we know the toll having babies so close together can take on a woman's body, her mental health, the family finances, and so on. I like to hear all types of opinions.
DeleteI don't get joy out of rude and unasked for advice. Never in a million years would any of the Duggars be influenced by your concern or anyone else's as to how many children they have or what you think it does to their bodies,so save it.
DeleteThe Duggars may not listen to sage advice but it might give someone visiting this blog food for thought.
DeleteThere is a difference between giving advice versus what some people do on here. They think their way is right and the Duggar's or anyone else that thinks differently from them is wrong. I ain't saying their way is wrong either. Everyone's life journey is different. But I would have more respect for their advice if they actually went to the Duggar's social media pages instead of a fan blog. It does not make sense for them to come here and write their advices & opinions.

DeleteKatey's pediatrician needs to have a serious talk with her about what is and isn't safe to put in a baby's crib, before something terrible happens. I don't know how that baby could breathe with the blanket over his face and all the pillows around him. Isn't SIDS awareness a thing these days?

ReplyDeleteWhy ever not? I think its great! This is refreshing. I am so glad to hear Jed say they're trying to catch up with his parents. My friend has been married seven years and has six kids and she and her husband are committed to leaving the womb in the hands of God and they are happy and blessed. Her sister has been married 10 years and also has six children but she also chose to place her womb in God's hands but God spaced out her pregnancies more then her sister. This is the freedom one gains by leaving everything in God's hands. He knows best what a couple can and can not handle and when. Every baby is an "heritage from the Lord' and "His reward". God chose to reward Jed and Katey with their second baby early and big congrats to them both! I'm really am excited for this news so early.

ReplyDeleteWhy is Michael wearing a yarmukle? He is not in a synagogue or attending a seder. He is a Christian who has appropriated a yarmulke to wear as part of his yearly "ugly sweater" costume, and I find it extremely disrespectful. Older members of his family should have known better and should have forbidden it. Duggars, your lack of respect for other religions and other cultures is once again showing.

DeleteThis was not a Jewish party. This was the Duggar's annual goofy sweater and costume party held at Jim Bob & Michelle's. They gave out prizes for the best worst costumes.

So sweet! My first was born, daughter, was born in October. And my second born and son was born a few days after my daughter's first birthday. I was on the pill too lol. It didn't work.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations Jed and Katey! I have a friend who has a daughter and a son 14 months apart,so I give my support for having Truett and new baby close in age. Prayers for a safe pregnancy and for both of you to handle 2 under 2 with confidence. Had thought Jessa or even Claire would be next to announce a pregnancy (or any other Duggar who has left the world of social media to lead private lives like Kendra or Lauren). Wish you ladies would give more updates on the family more often (same goes for the Bates).

ReplyDeleteInstalling a deck only affects them, but when they start putting culverts in a ditch that is part of a neighborhood drainage system, they need a permit and the work to be inspected. If not done properly, they could flood the whole area in a heavy rainstorm.
