Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there. John and Abbie Duggar announced that they will be a family of four in late summer. Abbie is pregnant with a boy!
Neddy Constant I read about it on reddit Congrats Jill & Derek will have A baby boy as well. Congrats to Anna's sister in law Nurie & Brother David They are excepting baby number 2 as well. Happy Late Mothers Day Everyone.
Neddy Constant Sorry about that made a boo boo I meant Nathan Keller Anna's Brother & Sister in Law Nurie Is now excepting baby number 2. David is married to Hannah. Sorry about the mistake Happy Late Mothers day Everyone Time 1:10PM Mon 5/9/23
Congratulations to Abbie & John!!!!!! I am glad that Abbie & John have decided to let their fans in, on their exciting news. I was an avid fan of Counting On, and I still have a positive view of all 18 of Josh's siblings.I am the oldest of three siblings, and I don't think it would be fair for people to judge me based solely on the actions of either of my siblings.
@Anonymous 5:27pm, The TLC tv network for one. Counting On was cancelled because of Josh's actions. There are also people on this website who have been posting comments like "All the the Duggars, should live a more private life, while they heal, from this latest situation with Josh." Jana, John, Jill, Jinger, Jessa, Joesph, Josiah, Joy, Jedidiah, Jerimiah, Jason, James and Justin, are all adults and are capable of deciding the best way for each of them to deal with Josh's actions. If these individuals want to live a more private life, or if they want to keep working, that is up to them.
9:00- Giving an opinion about staying private is not judging them because of Josh. It's merely a wise suggestion, in that they can avoid criticism and protect their kids from trolls.I thought that long before Josh's actions were made public. I never believed that putting your kids on reality TV was a good idea in the first place.
Congratulations John and Abby on the news of your baby boy. I understand the announcement and gender was already told but I would love to hear the announcement and see the gender reveal party and birth sometime in the fall. I hope and pray that everything will go smoothly. I really miss all of you guys. I wish there was a new spin-off. Natasha b
Congratulations to John and Abbie on baby #2. I sure hope she wasn't as sick as she was with Gracie, but I also know HG seems to hit people with pretty much each pregnancy.
I'm excited for another grandson to add to the Duggar grandson crew. With Truett recently being born and soon Jill's son, that will make 3 grandsons in a row and in one year. After all,JB and Michelle had 11 granddaughter's in a row in 3 years.
Congrats to them! I hope for her a healthy safe pregnancy. I can't imagine having such severe morning sickness. HG can last a long time as well. I heard many doctors say with one bout of HG, you should not have another one. I am surprised with her educational degree, even some of the sisters being midwives they would heed these warnings.
@2:47 Then you must take issue with the Duggars' belief that babies are a gift from God and that a woman should have as many as possible- no birth control!
Alberta Rose: Perhaps those who tell people what size their family should be live in a country where women do not have Freedom Of Choice. Fortunately John-David and Abby live in a counter where couples have the freedom to choose have none, one, two, three or more.
HEY I am soooooo happy to hear U are with child. Please take good care of U, but your feet up, and I love back then was, I love U 3, now I love U 4, Fab 4!!!!!
Oh what wonderful news! I bet the parents are over the moon. Congrats John & Abbie and big sister Grace. I wish her a happy, healthy and safe pregnancy. I had many women in my family deal with hyperemesis gravidarum. And you know, I can't tell anyone want to do with their body but she has to know near the field she use to work in and her slightly different upbringing from the Duggar's that HG is something not to play around with at all and to be taken seriously. Women has had near death experiences from it and some have died like some of my family members. They will have two children. A beautiful daughter and son. They should consider tubal ligation. It's much safer than birth control.
Hyperemesis gravidarum can be treated. It can't be that serious given that treatment suggested by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG) Nausea and Vomiting in Pregnancy guidelines. Initial treatment should begin with non-pharmacologic interventions such as switching the patient’s prenatal vitamins to folic acid supplementation only, using ginger supplementation (250 mg orally 4 times daily) as needed, and applying acupressure wristbands.
What a surprise! I am so happy for them. It's amazing to me how time has changed. I came from a very small town in Kentucky. We never announced our pregnancies nor did we really go anywhere. And when we did, people never question or stare at the woman's stomach. You only talk about it until after the baby is born and the ladies all have a baby shower then. I know it may sound strange but that's where I came from. I think this tradition came partly from Ireland because in my town there was a lot of Irish people. They believed baby showers was bad luck.
I like how your town deals with pregnancies( except for the never going anywhere part). I feel like in todays society everybody wants to know everything about your pregnancy, when’s it’s due? Boy or girl? do you have morning sickness? And the worst one can I touch your belly? I wish people would just mind there own business.
Please don't say that, it's rude. Jill and Derrick are no longer a "smart couple" because they are having a third. Smart and number of children have nothing to do with each other.
Abbie is such a wonderful wife and mother that sets a good example for her children and even in-laws. I enjoy watching John-David and Abbie's journey. I do hope she gets back to her career once their son is old enough to be in school. I highly doubt she'll have anymore.
Why can't he do both? Perhaps you could explain? Does constable require such time and devotion in that position that he cannot effectively be a husband and father?
Happy 18th Birthday to Jackson Duggar! Wish you ladies would start posting the Duggar family (Bates too) birthdays on the blogs again. I don't know why you stopped. Does it have to do with the two families no longer being on TV? Just curious.🤔

ReplyDelete1:44 Who's judging them based on the actions of their eldest brother?
DeleteI totally agree with you! I've always admired John & Abbie. I'm very happy and excited for them and I hope Abbie is feeling well!
DeleteGreat news.
DeleteYou're right -- that would not be fair.

DeleteWonderful news! Congratulations to the parents and the future big sister!
ReplyDeleteI hope Abbie had a better time with this one. Glad for them...all the best.

ReplyDeletePerhaps they didn't have a gender reveal party. Not everyone does you know.
DeleteCongrats to John-David and Abbie! So happy for them!
ReplyDeleteMe too! John and Abbie and Grace and baby are an amazing beautiful family!
DeleteCONGRATULATIONS
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to new baby on the way!
ReplyDeleteYay Abbie. You are my MVPs of the crew. Very excited for you! ❤️
ReplyDeleteHappy for them. Looks like the boy streak is going strong.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations John and Abbie!
ReplyDeleteI hope and pray for her that she does not experience the same severe morning sickness this time. Congratulations to them!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations xx
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations John and Abbie! Wonderful news!!

ReplyDeleteNot necessarily, I didn't have the same morning sickness experience with each pregnancy. Hopefully it was better this time.
DeleteSo excited for John and Abbie! And that they are having a boy!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Abbie, John David and Grace. God Bless.
ReplyDeleteJoan,Marion and Marilyn
Wonderful news!! Congratulations!! Best wishes for a healthy mom and baby. So happy they shared the news.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to them! And little Grace being a big sister.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
ReplyDeleteA sweet little baby boy! Congratulations!👶
ReplyDeleteCongrats, so happy that God has blessed you with this little boy. God bless ya'll.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations John & Abbie!
ReplyDeleteShe caught a baby!
ReplyDeleteOk, I snorted, thanks.
DeleteMichelle is excited.
DeleteWhat does that mean?
DeleteSo happy for them!
ReplyDeleteUgh. Another boy.
ReplyDeleteI'm excited for another grandson to add to the Duggar grandson crew. With Truett recently being born and soon Jill's son, that will make 3 grandsons in a row and in one year. After all,JB and Michelle had 11 granddaughter's in a row in 3 years.
DeleteShame on you … it’s a BABY
DeleteWhat kind of a comment is that? What do you have against baby boys? Perhaps you should think before you post.
Delete"Congratulations," would have also been appropriate. But, you do you.
DeleteThey are probably happy they are having a boy since they already have a gurl.
Delete????
DeleteYay, their first boy!
DeleteWhat an awful thing to say. All babies are a blessing
DeleteI think its great they will become parents of a boy. I would have liked a babygirl too. Every child is a gift and is precious.
DeleteSo exciting!! Congrats!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful news. Congrats! Enjoy the experience. GOD BLESS
ReplyDeleteI think they should name him David....just a suggestion.
ReplyDeleteNow we need an update on Lauren.
ReplyDeletejohn-david and abbie are going to be parents again and gracie is going to be a big sister.
ReplyDeleteYay! Another boy! Looks like the tides have turned from girls to boys!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to them! I hope for her a healthy safe pregnancy. I can't imagine having such severe morning sickness. HG can last a long time as well. I heard many doctors say with one bout of HG, you should not have another one. I am surprised with her educational degree, even some of the sisters being midwives they would heed these warnings.
ReplyDeleteI dunno, Prince William's wife had 3 babies, and she had HG. If what you say is true, why wouldn't her royal doctors have told her that?
DeleteThat might be what many doctors say but it is NOT what the ACOG says.
DeleteYay for a boy! It will be fun for them to have one of each!
ReplyDeleteGoodness! Now they'll have a girl and a boy. That should be it.
ReplyDeleteI will never understand how anyone presumes to decide how big someone else's family should be.
Delete@2:47 Then you must take issue with the Duggars' belief that babies are a gift from God and that a woman should have as many as possible- no birth control!
DeleteAlberta Rose: Perhaps those who tell people what size their family should be live in a country where women do not have Freedom Of Choice. Fortunately John-David and Abby live in a counter where couples have the freedom to choose have none, one, two, three or more.
DeleteCouldn't agree with you more, 2:47.
Delete2:47, I am just giving them a good suggestion.
Delete6:12, "should" takes it beyond suggestion.
Delete5:09, the Duggars never decided how big any other family on earth should be.
DeleteIt's a couple choice on how many children they want
DeleteBut it really isn't any of your business whatsoever how many children they choose to have. None. Zero. Zip!
DeleteHEY I am soooooo happy to hear U are with child. Please take good care of U, but your feet up, and I love back then was, I love U 3, now I love U 4, Fab 4!!!!!

ReplyDeleteA tubal ligation is major surgery. I don’t know if it’s safer than birth control.

DeleteHow long ago was this? It sounds like something from pre 1980s.
DeleteTwo kids may be just the right number! Smart couple!
ReplyDeletePlease don't say that, it's rude. Jill and Derrick are no longer a "smart couple" because they are having a third. Smart and number of children have nothing to do with each other.
DeleteHow many grandchildren is that now? 22?
ReplyDeleteI think there are 23 and 2 on the way. I can't keep up
DeleteTruett is Michelle & Jim Bob's 23rd Grandchild.
DeleteCongrats JD and Abbie. I wish you the best. It is a bit disappointing due to the fact she had HG and likely would get it again with a second.
ReplyDeleteAbbie is such a wonderful wife and mother that sets a good example for her children and even in-laws. I enjoy watching John-David and Abbie's journey. I do hope she gets back to her career once their son is old enough to be in school. I highly doubt she'll have anymore.
ReplyDeleteWhy? She is happy with her career of wife, mother and volunteer.
DeleteCan't believe John is running for constable again. It's time to give up that side gig and concentrate on the family.
ReplyDeleteWhy can't he do both? Perhaps you could explain? Does constable require such time and devotion in that position that he cannot effectively be a husband and father?
DeleteGood news. But not a surprise. It's Duggarville after all where one of the women is always pregnant.
