DeleteI'd like to know why a comment like ^^^^^ "That picture is do corny" was published? Who needed to read it? I know I sure didn't. I also wonder if the Duggars read these,how would she feel? When you publish rude comments your helping spread the negativity. Please don't do that.
DeleteI thought it was kinda corny too. Why stand beside traffic holding onto your pregnant body? It's like those t-shirts that have "Baby" with an arrow pointing down.

DeleteMany people (including myself) find bubbly personalities to be extremely irritating. I had a lot of bad stuff happen to me over the past few years and don’t see how anyone can be so cheerful and cutesy all the time. It seems fake.
8:04 AM - I think it's poor etiquette and shows bad personality to post grumpy pictures too lol.
Delete@8:04 and many people find rude, pessimistic personalities to be extremely irritating. We have enough bad in this world, we all could use a taste of kindness and happiness.
DeleteI'm 8:04. I experienced two immediate family deaths in the past 15 months, one of which was very untimely. Excuse me for not being all happy, bubbly, and smiley. Somedays I wonder if I will ever be truly happy again. Don't judge someone until you've walked in their shoes. Isn't there something in the Bible about that?
Delete@8:04- I'm really sorry you've had a lot of bad experiences in your life so far. Both my husband and I have had dangerously narcissistic parents and were seriously emotionally abused, with some physical as well. We both have PTSD and are in counseling. I can kind of understand (as much as possible without being you) how the Duggars "overwhelming cheeriness" could be triggering. Some of what some Christians are calling faith is actually just toxic positivity. Having walked through a miscarriage, I can tell you that the truth is that God is a big enough God to handle our hurt, disappointment, anger, grief, and pain. None of the bad we experience was His plan, but we (and every other person) has free will. God gave us free will because He wanted relationship, not a bunch of robots-and we all like using our free will all the time. Sometimes we make bad choices that end up hurting us and others. But sometimes, it's inflicted on us by other people who choose to sin and they harm us. Life here doesn't always go the way we planned it would either because things are broken here (our bodies don't always function the way they should, for one). Unfortunately a lot of Christians hide behind that word "faith" because they feel pressured (by their Church's teachings, fellow Christians, family culture, etc.) to "faith it till you make it", when in reality God invites us to just come to Him and bring it all to Him. He's big enough to handle it, He wants to handle it, and He's the only one who can. He knows we're going to have questions and things we don't understand. He's not honored by us plastering on fake smiles and perpetual cheeriness-we honor Him best with our honesty. People I know and love have endured some pretty bad stuff and I'm sorry you have too, so I'm praying for you tonight as well.

Congratulations Jed and Katey Duggar. I pray for a safe and healthy delivery. I can't wait for the baby to come. Hopefully I will get to see a video of the baby. I hope your pregnancy is doing well. My dad and I love watching the Duggars and extended family members. We pray for the family that they are doing well. We would love to see them back on cable TV with a new show and new seasons. DeleteMy first baby I had to be induced at near 41 weeks. My second baby came so fast at 38 weeks that I didn't make it to the hospital. My third and fourth came just as fast.

Ask any OB or midwife cator oil is actually dangerous....it passes to the baby and can cause a bowel movement before birth which can lead to respiratory infection.

Delete8:50 PM - Ask any OB or midwife that regardless of castor oil, a baby can pass bowel movement for any reason and it's quite normal. That happens sometimes.
DeleteThe Duggars need to decide if they want to continue sharing baby news or if it's time to pull the plug on that publicity machine. Some share; some have done a 180 and don't any more; those that do only give sketchy due dates. All it's doing is fueling speculation and "body shaming" (not really, because there's a good chance that any of these women are pregnant at some point in any year). If they're sorry they ever shared baby news with the public, then they would probably benefit from going silent as a group.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's time for people to stop wondering about whether or not any of them are pregnant. A few of them are on social media. Others are not. That tells you who wants to share and who doesn't. Not rocket science.

DeleteIt was some of the siblings that wanted privacy. Just because one sibling does something, doesn't mean they all fall in line. And even if they decide not to be private anymore, they have the right just like anyone else to change their mind just like you. Who are you to judge?
