Between Jessa and Ben's anniversary, Jessa's birthday, and now Spurgeon's birthday, it has been a big week full of celebrations for the Seewald family. Happy 6th birthday to Spurgeon!
Today is also Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo's 5th anniversary. Congratulations to the Vuolos on half a decade! If you missed the big announcement the other day, Jinger and Jeremy have another book coming out next year.

ReplyDeleteI still feel badly for this child having the name, "Spurgeon", "Spurge", for short.
I think Jessa and Ben chose the name in honor of Charles Spurgeon.(Maybe "Charles" would have been a better choice).
I notice their subsequent children have common, traditional names.
I've heard them call him Spurgie too.

DeleteAnon 8.56. Who in their right mind would name their child Uranus ? Mind you I have seen some dreadful ones myself over my career. However one of the worst was Ghengis & the surname was Khan. You might have thought the parents would have thought of the connotations of calling their child Ghengis Khan. Also had a baby girl that the parents called Godsgoodgrace (yes all one word, actually pronounced Gods Good Grace). The more I thought about it the more I actually thought it was quite lovely.

DeleteHe is the 6th Grandchild. There is Mackynzie, Michael, Marcus, Israel, Meredith and then Spurgeon.

The order is: Mackynzie (Oct. 2009,) Michael (June 2011,) Marcus (June 2013,) Israel ( April 2015,) Meredith (July 2015,) and Spurgeon (Nov. 2015). Anna & Josh, are the parents of: Mackynzie, Michael, Marcus and Meredith. Jill & Derick are the parents of Israel, and Jessa & Ben are the parents of Spurgeon.

But I miss hearing about them, and they do still have fans... It would be amazing to hear that they are well and happy!
It must had been weak backlash because the only update I got about them was the privacy change.

Yes, I was thinking Anna should have given birth quite a while ago, wasn't Anna pregnant at Henrys birthday party back in February, when Jessa filmed the party she caught Anna's bump so maximum October she would have given birth, but the bloggers respect Anna's wishes as she calls the shots and she obviously wants to keep her privacy, Anna isn't even on social media anymore.
DeleteIt's my OPINION that Anna has already given birth and the family is keeping this news quiet until Josh's trial begins. At that time they'll unveil Anna's baby "news" to divert our attention to the new baby and away from Josh.
DeleteOne thing the Duggars have learned over the years is how to use the media to their advantage.
With that said, I hope and pray for EVERYONE'S safety and well-being.
MO- Happy Birthday! On to Anna... I understand why Anna would like to keep the events of her family private. But I'm confused why she was front-center with Josh during his last court date. Knowing the horrendous things Josh is being accused of, (and his past behavior) I think I'd just stay home with my kids until things are sorted out legally. There is nothing Christian about any of this if that's what she's falling back on. :o(

ReplyDeleteIs no one going to talk about the fact that Anna announced her pregnancy in April, which was 7 months ago, and knew the gender and had a whole bump but is somehow due in fall? How is this possible? That would've made her 2 months pregnant at the time. You can't know the gender or have a bump that big at 2 months. Even if the baby was born last month that still would've only made her 3 months. I'm genuinely confused.

DeleteYou can know the gender. I germany we have a "panoramic test" where things like downs syndrome etc. are tested. As there is baby`s dna in the mothers blood this goes by blood testing the mother and the childs dna can be analyzed for gender. And Annas bump: its her 7th baby in a rapid row of pregnancies so the womb can stretch very easily and look big at an early stage.

DeleteI would not count on this tests though, a lot of the times they are wrong. I would wait until your ultrasound at 18-20 weeks to find out the gender.
