Jeremiah Duggar just announced that he is in a relationship! And you have probably heard his girlfriend's name before, as she and her family are long-time friends of the Duggars. We have done giveaways of their CDs, and one of their other daughters used to design our headers. Can you guess who it is?
Jeremiah's girlfriend is Hannah Wissmann (26), the ninth of Loren and Gloria Wissmann's 13 children.
This is definitely happy news for Jeremiah. I find it interesting that Jed did not release any relationship news until he was married. (Correct me if I’m wrong.) I guess that shows how different they are. Best wishes to Jer and Hannah.

Michelle should have set up as a wedding planner the amount of weddings the family have had & will no doubt have in the future. For such a lot of weddings, each individual one has been beautiful & the couples all very different.

DeleteI paid that attention too. Jessa is 2 years older than Ben, but 2 years is not 4 years. Especially if a woman is older, and women are usually more nature anyway. Jeremiah though seems to be very quiet, so maybe he likes a girlfriend who can lead him.
DeleteI was 27 and my husband was 24 when we married. A 4 years difference is nothing. I know plenty of people who are older than their partner regardless of the gender and they been together for years. This goes back to medieval times. Get with it.
DeleteShe’s 3 and a half years older (Jeremiah turns 23 in December) and there’s nothing wrong with that, they are both in their 20s. There are couples that are 10 years apart (my parents) and I know a few that are 12-15 years apart as well, it’s unusual, but 3 and a half is completely normal, I’d even say more normal than being the same age

Haha- (she's 4 years older) I thought that Jed was smart not to announce his wedding until after the fact- But after all the turmoil in the Duggar family, I don't think as many people follow the family as before so Jeremiah's relationship may not get as much attention. :o)

DeleteActually, there are a lot of families with the same or similar beliefs. I had know idea how large of a group the IBLP and other Christians that would be considered fundamentalists were. It's small per the overall population but there are a lot of families they know and can meet. Remember, their weddings are sometimes close to 1,000 people. That is more people than I even really know.

DeleteWow everyone freaked out about a 4 year age difference. Really I'm 3 years old than my husband. If it was the other way around no one would bat an eye, just because the guy is older. My husband and I still get comments about me being older than him. It doesn't matter who's older, as long as they are compatible and care for each other.
