It has been an interesting week, weather-wise, for the Duggar family in Arkansas. Between big dumps of snow and temperatures that have dipped into the single digits and negatives, what they have experienced is not something that happens every year in their area.
Do you remember the big Duggar snow day in February 2011? We thought we would resurrect some of the photos we posted back then. Can you believe it has been 10 years? The three Duggars pictured above were toddlers back then!

DeleteI remember them sliding down the hill in the front yard when they were younger and Josie was only 2 years old & also when Michelle was still expecting Jubilee. Even though now that they are older they are having a lot of fun. I can't believe it's been 10 years. I can't wait to hear & see what's coming on season 12 of counting on hopefully coming in the spring or early summer? Natasha b

DeleteI wonder if Jana has also resigned from the show? She’s no where to be found lately. Hope she’s okay?
DeleteJana was put in a pretty bad light by TLC last season (the greenhouse painting scene). I hope she has moved on and has her own life and her own place to go with it.
DeleteMaybe Jana has disappeared because she's courting and they need to keep it secret for show purposes? It's the lifeline that could save the show.

ReplyDeleteAgree. I also don’t get why Jenny is wearing a skirt over snow pants (you could see she had snow pants under it on a video Jessa posted). Wouldn’t that just defeat the purpose of the snow pants? Also weird that Johanna is not wearing a skirt but Jenny is.
DeleteI’ve seen Kendra wear a skirt over snow pants as well and I really don’t get it, the pants are modest enough.
It's called snowpants. They don't have snowskirts. Stop being so rude.

DeleteI haven’t actually “heard” the Duggars say they “don’t wear pants” in a long time. Maybe, that big rule went the way of chore packs, home church and buying used!
Delete1:07 Why would anyone suggest that snow pants are immodest? That's what the Duggars are suggesting by wearing a skirt over them. Convictions that do not allow for any common sense wiggle room are more a matter of misplaced pride, IMO.

Delete@1:08 Nobody is criticizing the choice of pants. Pants are the wisest choice for snow and a lot of other daily activities! What is notable is how the Duggars have said they only wear skirts and then show themselves in pants. Or even odder, a skirt over pants.
