ReplyDelete(I've often felt sorry for Jordyn. She was just a toddler when Josie was born. Josie required extra time and attention because of her premature birth. I wonder if Jordyn received the attention she needed as a young child).

Agree, sad that she didn't get a lot of mommy time when she was still so little.
DeleteShe was not even 1 year old when Josie was born. Anna moved to the Dugga;s house with a 3 month old Kynzie to help with the kids and mainly Jordyn. And then they all moved to Little Rock for 5 months, and olderkids looked after younger kids, while Josie was at the hospital and Michelle was with her most of the time. And then Michelle had to pay attention mostly to osie as she was a preemie. Definitely Jordyn missed on a lot of defining bonding time with mom.

Happy 12th Birthday Jordyn Grace. You look so much like your older sisters. Lily and Ellie,I saw the pic of Jordyn meeting the Property Brothers above. What year was that picture taken? I don't read the blog much and I also don't watch Counting On at all,so was this featured on the blog or show?

ReplyDeleteThey still thrift store shop like when they have to raid the thrift stores for those hokey family challenges TLC makes them do, but most stuff they wear and use now comes from full retail stores, cousin Amy's store, or any online store they're promoting. Baby clothes, they pick up a lot at some big consignment-type sale in their area. They went to one this fall and shared pictures. (And a lot of people noticed something missing...)

DeleteThe thrift-store storyline was just something to film. While they may have done some thrift-store shopping at one time, I seriously doubt that they stayed away from regular stores.

ReplyDeleteI was afraid the 4 youngest Duggar daughters wouldn’t get practice raising babies. But not to worry....The only difference is that the youngestDuggar daughters can give the babies back to the parents. Whereas the 4 oldest Duggar girls could not.

ReplyDeleteCan't imagine what would it be like to be an 18th child! Jordyn was born when her eldest brother was married already, and the rest of the siblings (17 at that time) all lived in the same house.
