You should warn people that this episode contains a medical procedure to the eye, shown up close. If you're squeamish, don't watch.
ReplyDelete? This eye procedure was not bloody, the patient was awake I'm confused how it could be so graphic as to make people squeamish. It is not blogs job to earn viewers.
DeletePlease!!!!... there was nothing squeamish about you seeing eye drops in Bens eyes.... you saw no surgery being done.... no one made you watch...you’re in your own home SOOO turn your head or torn off TV... There There now problem solved 🤗
DeleteTLC should have had a warning, and Ellie too. TLC used to have warnings all the time when they were actually The Learning Channel and showing anything medical. Yes, seeing Ben's eye jacked open like that was weird and fairly graphic for this show. A warning would have been good. Not everyone likes being surprised by something like that in the middle of a program. I know my stomach knots up if they show someone getting a shot or handling a syringe.
DeleteJinger has a miscarriage and then they have a party? Oh well, whatever floats their boat.
ReplyDeleteA way of lifting her spirits?
DeleteDon’t forget this was 100% Jeremys idea...
DeleteJinger seemed completely distraught about the miscarriage. In the interviews Jeremy was smiling as he was speaking about it. He makes my skin crawl.
The interviews are done months after the events take place. That's why Jinger has short blonde hair in the interviews and long hair at the party.
Delete@5:46 I agree; he did look to be almost smirking with discussing the miscarriage. I’m sure he didn’t me to be; but something is off with him when he speaks. Perhaps, he’s just trying too hard to be articulate, informative and Godly. Relax, Jeremy be your soccer ball kicking self!
DeleteI think the part was a month later for her birthday. @5:46 some people hide their true emotions, especially men. Jeremy teared up I did not see joyous happy smiling. Your comment makes my skin crawl.
DeleteJeremy planned Jinger’s party months before her miscarriage ...and the party was weeks after the miscarriage to lift Jinger up!!! The party was in good friends home .... they were not out partying as that is not what Christians do. And to everyone .... Yes it was Jeremy’s idea it’s his WIFE .... now all haters hive alone .... Yes Jinger had a fur around her shoulders.... who cares if it’s fake or not ... who cares if what she does is vegan or not... People get a life... read your Bible more... go help the needy or elderly... do something constructive or productive with your life
DeleteFur? Jinger now goes around wearing fur?
ReplyDeleteDid she say it was real fur?
DeleteI hope you don't wear leather and eat completely vegan before acting superior.
She is Very Sophisticated, just like Jeremy.
DeleteYeah they are big shots now remember?, they shop on Rodeo drive and spend big bucks. lol
DeleteI really hope that fur was faux!!! Why was she even wearing it? Looked ridiculous either way!
DeleteIt's simple these days to find shoes that aren't leather and to eat meatless. There are also responsibly sourced clothes available as well as all sorts of eco alternatives for other things. Jinger's fur is not going to be welcomed in most of LA, one of the most anti-fur places in the US.
Delete@2:20-we no longer need to slaughter animals to keep warm with their fur.
DeleteBut was it even real fur? I agree, it's easy to buy clothing that looks like fur and it's not. How do we know that Jinger isn't wearing an eco-alternative?
DeleteWhy is it still ok to slaughter some animals for food and comfort and then get up in arms for others? Some animals aren't killed but still suffer for our warmth. Look up how we get down feathers for bedding and coats.

ReplyDeleteSo sad about Jeremy & Jingers loss
Good news is God gave him another
Gift another baby.
I loved watching how tender Jeremy is with Jinger. The surprise party was the absolute best part of any show I have seen with Counting On. What a great way to lift Jinger up and to let her know how much she is loved! Jeremy and the Mahoney family did a beautiful job. And the painting Jeremy had commissioned of Jinger and Felicity was icing on the cake!!!!!
ReplyDeleteJeremy kept referring to all Jinger’s close friends and family being invited. I see the close family members; but where are her close friends? Certainly, people from CA can’t be considered “close” friends, yet? Is Jana!s friend Lauren really Jinger’s close friend? Ugh!
ReplyDeleteIt's likely that the friends who came to the party were like-minded people from their church.
DeleteClose = church = Christian friends from their denomination, their favorite kind of friends. They even made a point to say that the portrait artist was Christian, if you read what they wrote after the episode aired. This entire family doesn't have a wide range of friends. Their loss, if they won't consider associating with others outside their religion.
DeleteThey have been there a year and a half, plenty of time to develop friendships within their church community. Lauren has know Jinger for many years. Why be so negative about a simple party.
Delete@7:55 No negativity; just an innocent question. “Close” friends implies people have been friends for a long time; know each other really well. Lauren is Jana’s “close” friend. Sure, she knows Jinger; but is always with Jana. When Jeremy said “close” friends of Jinger’s would be at her party; I was thinking they’d be from Ark.
DeleteLove the analogy: Close=church=Christian! So, true! Where else would they find or accept friends!
DeleteI predict the Duggars will end up with 70 grandkids!
ReplyDeleteYes? Or No?
I predict the Duggars will end up with 70 grandkids!
ReplyDeleteYes? Or No?
I REALLY LOVE THE DUGGAR FAMILY SHOW. I ADMIRE THEIR VALUES. IN THE WORLD WE LIVE IN TODAY IT IS HARD TO HAVE A STRONG CHRISTIAN FAMILY. I DONT KNOW HOW THEY ENDURE LIVING IN A FISH BOWL AND HAVING PEOPLE WATCH THEIR EVERY MOVE AND EXPECT THEM TO BE PERFECT WHICH THEY CAN NOT BE. PLEASE CONTINUE TO POST NEWS OF THEIR LIVES. THEY ARE A GREAT TESTIMONY AS TO HOW WE SHOULD TRY TO LIVE FOR THE LORD.
