ReplyDeleteHe starts the series of Duggar July birthdays; next is Sam on the 8th, then Meredith on the 16th, Jim Bob on the 18th and Felicity on the 19th.
Thank-you Lilie and Ellie for posting this about James. We don't hear or see as much about the younger sons, James, Justin and Jackson. Would like to hear more about them and what they are doing.

ReplyDeleteJim bob's old comment about 'squashing beetles' was on purpose. He absolutely knew the interviewer meant the singing group the Beatles. He said that in Arkansas, 'we squash them'. He was referring to the point of view about rock and roll in Arkansas in the mid 1960s. They opposed pop music and said it was from the devil and wouldn't lead to good things. Anyone else remember that? This family rarely answers questions frankly and seriously. They skirt the ones they don't want to answer by hiding their response in 'joke' answers. Sly of them, really but they don't fool me.
