Counting On “Beverly Hills Duggars”
- Josiah and Lauren (30 weeks pregnant) go to a birthing class with John and Abbie (18 weeks pregnant). Both ladies are planning for a hospital birth and would like to deliver naturally, if possible. “My mom has always done hospital births,” says Lauren, when asked why she didn’t choose a home birth. “If anything’s wrong, it’s right there. I just feel very comfortable at the hospital.”
- At the class, teacher Teresa straps pumpkins onto the guys’ stomachs so they can feel what it’s like to be pregnant. Then she hooks them up to a labor simulator. “Ya it hurt,” says John. “It felt like being electrocuted.”
- “Josiah didn’t even last two minutes,” says Lauren, laughing. When the producer jokes about having 19 kids, Abbie says she’s not doing that.
- Meanwhile, Jana visits Jinger in Los Angeles, and the two girls go shopping on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. Jinger, who enjoys following clothing trends and has been dubbed the family fashion queen, says that Jeremy also loves clothing and has helped her keep up with the latest styles.
- “I have branched out into buying a few new items here and there, but it’s hard to because it’s a lot more expensive,” says Jana. “I don’t really like paying much for clothes.”
- The Duggar sisters used to call their style “modest modern,” but Jinger says that her new goal is to dress “classy.” “Looking back on our old photos and how we dressed, oh my word,” says Jana, laughing.
- At Boulmiche, the employee and Jinger convince Jana to try on some tops and skirts that are a bit outside her comfort zone. Jinger falls in love with a plaid jacket and then realizes that it costs $300. “The jacket may have been a little pricey, but I had been looking for a jacket like this for a long time, and I knew it would be quality and last me for forever,” says Jinger.
- “I mean, if you’re going to wear it every day or you’re going to have it for years to come, then it’s probably worth it,” says Jana, who doesn’t end up buying anything.
- When the producer mentions Jinger’s purchase, Michelle responds, “Whoa.” Jim Bob says, “It must be one nice jacket.”
- In Arkansas, the guys set things up so the moms can have a childless gathering at the Baylor House, a flip house that the Duggars have been working on for years. They make homemade face masks and put up decorations.
- When Michelle, Jessa, Joy, Anna, Kendra, Kendra’s mom Christina, Abbie, and Lauren arrive, they are blown away by the thoughtfulness. They question the face masks, although they go along with them. The cinnamon-banana mask, made by Joe, burns Christina’s face, but she’s a good sport.
- Joy-Anna has prayed that she would not have a difficult time being around Lauren, Anna, and Kendra, since her daughter was supposed to be due at the same time. God answered that prayer. “Even though it’s hard that I don’t have my baby, that doesn’t negate from my happiness for them,” says Joy.
- During the meal, the ladies discuss the struggles of motherhood. They all write down questions so the other moms can weigh in and give advice.
- While the ladies have their girl time, Joseph, Austin, and Ben watch their four boys at the Seewalds’ house.
It's amazing how Joy was able to stay practically happy around the pregnant girls who were still pregnant then and with due dates around the time she would deliver too if she did not have that awful miscarriage/stillbirth. Prayer of course helps immensely. Very strong of Joy. Maybe also it was good for her to be around people too. I'm not sure if I would be able to be like this just 10 weeks after a miscarriage.
ReplyDeleteSo refreshing to come back to the Arkansas Duggars after Roswell, Las Vegas, and LA. I think I have a new appreciation for all of them. So nice to see Anna too.
ReplyDeleteYou do know Christians can go on adventures and see different parts of our USA...They were on a road trip to their new home in LA... I loved it ..not boring at all!! Nothing refreshing about the Arkansas parts it just seems so Hicksville to me.... Not everyone lives in the country.... if I lived like that I’d be miserable ... Good for Jinger and Jeremy always looking for good clean adventures... as what young families are doing.
DeleteI enjoyed the road trip and all the stops along the way. So far out of Michelle and JB's kids who are married only Jinger has moved away long term. I am happy to see her getting build "her"life with Jeremy and not just existing in Arkansas, duplicating her parents. We all deserve to be who we are....their adventures are giving life to the showm
DeleteAm I the only one who thought of the pandemic masks when I saw "face masks" mentioned in the recap?
ReplyDeleteI thought so too! I haven’t watched the show yet, and I just realized they’re not when I read your comment! I thought a banana peel made for a very strange face mask! Not one of my brighter moments... Haha!
DeleteNope! I thought the same, lol:D
Delete9:56, no you’re not the only one. I was trying to figure out how a mask would burn.
DeleteIf there was cinnamon or cinnamon oil in that mask, it could burn. Cinnamon oil is very strong.
DeleteYes if there was cinnamon oil in a cloth mask it would burn but I doubt anyone would put cinnamon on a cloth mask. Many of us thought they were talking about cloth face masks, not facial masks.
DeleteYou still wouldn't want to put cinnamon oil in a facial mask!! Cinnamon is one of the "hot" oils that would be really painful on the skin.
DeleteDid you see Jana's face when the sales clerk told her the top was sexy? Where would Jana have heard that word before or know what it means?
ReplyDeleteShe doesn’t completely live under a rock
DeleteJana is over thirty. She has not lived the past thirty years in a bunker. 🙄
DeleteJana was not comfortable at that store and that remark from the clerk didn't help matters. Jana has that smile she always does when she really wants to get off camera or scream. She wanted to scream last week during the art class, and now this week during the shopping. She is one big repressed emotion on this show. She also has to do that smile whenever she's asked about marriage! I know you all know that look I'm talking about. Mouth goes tight lipped, she smiles, and sometimes turns her head a bit sideways, eyes almost rolling. Jana's "I don't want to deal with this but I'm keeping sweet" look.
DeleteAnon 9:05. If Jana is so "uncomfortable" in these situations, then she should just QUIT the show. Jill and Derrick quit and seem to be doing quite well on their own.
DeleteMaybe the producers should have done another one of their famous Talking Heads segments and asked all the kids what that meant. They sure love to put the kids on the spot like that.
DeleteJinger bought a blazer, not a “jacket.” For a woman who is a stay at home mom with an unemployed student husband to buy a $300 workwear piece is ridiculous. Nobody is impressed, Jinge.
ReplyDeleteJeremy and Jinger speak at religious conferences. One example is they've attended G3 every year they've been married, which Jeremy spoke at and led discussion groups. There are occasions where Jinger does need to dress in business wear or people would criticise her for not dressing for the occasion.
DeleteBut Jeremy will be impressed and that's what matters most! Isn't two minutes of impressing your husband worth $300? No?? Maybe a $500 blazer would do it.
DeleteA blazer is a type of jacket.
DeleteWell actually... Jinger does have a job....Counting On...Jeremy also has a job.... Jinger and Jeremy can afford to buy and live and do as they please ... and does not have to answer to anyone but their Heavenly Father period.! It may be ridiculous to you but not to others and it’s not done daily. It’s something she had been looking for a while!!! Enjoy Jinger you deserve it and you’ll get much ware of if it... classic👌
DeleteI’ve noticed that she wear a lot of “office wear” and “business casual” outfits on her Instagram. I think they’re cute but they are quite weird because she’s not wearing actually them to an office.
DeleteI agree.
DeleteThen it’s a good thing that she’s not out to impress anyone.
DeleteA blazer IS a type of jacket, actually. Look it up.
DeleteDo we know that Jeremy doesn't have a job there? He could have some sort of job on campus.
DeleteI went through a "business-wear" phase right after I graduated high school. I didn't have an office job, but I wanted to wear more polished and business-like outfits just for fun. I had seen so many women when I was growing up wearing those types of looks, and I thought they looked so classy. So when I got out on my own for the first time, it was all I wanted to wear, despite really having no reason to wear clothes of that style. I completely understand Jinger experimenting with style, especially something that is so classic, even if she doesn't have an "office" job. It could be a phase or it could just be her style. Either way I totally get it!
DeleteShe didn’t buy it to “impress” you or anyone else!
DeleteJeremy’s job is setting up a home office and dressing up like he has a job. Just like Jinger.
DeleteJinger posted a picture wearing that jacket with a black dress to church....she looked sharp!
DeleteOMGosh! What a disasterous scene for Jinger and Jana. Poor Jana looked so uncomfortable and those clothes were hideous for Rodeo Drive. I think Jinger better go through fashion 101 again. That jacket didn't even appear to be a designer brand for that price. You could tell they were so clueless and out of their element.
ReplyDeleteIf they think Jinger is a fashion Queen.....oh my! They have so much to learn! Just because a person likes clothes does make them a queen/king of fashion.
DeleteI think the 2 styles of blazers were placed in the salon for her. All the other pieces she & Jana tried on were very bohemian; the blazers -classic.
Delete@6:28 Yes, and the jacket just happened to fit perfectly too. What a coincidence! If it didn't have the tags still on it, you'd think they took it out of her closet at home and put it in the store for her to "try on." I'm sure the production crew went there in advance and made sure there would be something Jinger liked that would fit. I'm sure the price was reduced behind the scenes, too. That $300 price was full retail, not what anyone paid that day. It's become quite clear that scenes like that on the show are all setups, not spontaneous.
DeleteCome on, everyone -- is this envy I'm hearing? Give Jinger a break!! The jacket looked great on her and was a smart investment piece that can be dressed up or down and will last for years. Boulmiche is kind of a Beverly Hills landmark -- it's been there for many years. And it's not on Rodeo Drive, but it is within the Golden Triangle.
DeleteWho would be envious of an overpriced plain boring plaid jacket? Women wore those in the 80's and 90's and men wore ones like that in the 50's and 60's.
DeleteThat had to be the most boring and pointless episode ever. It got down to the men "babysitting" their own kids, the credits rolled, the previews ran, and that was the end. I was like WHAT? That's it? What just happened? Boys strapped on pumpkins, girls shopped, we messed up our faces, and kids played on slides. That was worth making an episode out of?
ReplyDeleteWhen you have NOTHING, it's pretty hard to make a decent show. lol
DeleteThat was for the people who say the show is all about weddings and babies.
Deletesomeone needs to get married
DeleteSomething I find confusing- The Dillards are never shown on any episodes, even family gatherings or Mary's funeral. Yet, Kendra's mother was filmed at the mothers' get-together. (It will be interesting to see how this pans out with Joy and Austin, now that they've quit the show.) It certainly provides fuel for Derick's assertion that all is not wonderful in the Duggar family.
ReplyDeleteI’ve read some of the things Derick has alleged , and to be honest some of them are disturbing. I wonder though why he would complain about not being on a show that he says he chose to quit! He specifically said he didn’t want his family on the show anymore, and now he complains that they’re not. He was upset that they weren’t invited to the zoom game night, but he knows that this particular one was filmed solely for the purpose of the show. He can’t have it both ways. Also, I can’t understand why he is so vocal about it in the first place. Doesn’t he think that might be hurtful to Jill? If my husband were to loudly complain about my family all over the internet, I would be very hurt. Even if I agreed, bringing in the entire world to gossip about it would only add to my hurt. That being said, I am not Jill and I don’t know how she thinks.
DeleteDerick is the one who said the Dillards chose not to film anymore. He has repeatedly said that his family was moving in a different direction. To then complain that his family isn't involved in filming is disingenuous. Derick made comments that led TLC to say they would no longer feature him. However, Jill and the kids have been shown at family gatherings since. Jill was heavily featured during Ivy's birth. He seems to have a lot of hostility towards Jim Bob and TLC he needs to work out. The anger may be for legitimate reasons, but his complaints don't make sense when he's spent 3 years saying he doesn't want to be on Counting On.
DeleteThe Dillards were at Grandma Mary's funeral, just off camera.
The Dillards opted out of the show so of course they're not shown. I don't see that as confusing at all. As for Joy and Austin, there's no telling what's going on with them. Perhaps Austin grew tired of being on the show just as Derrick did.
DeleteThe Dillards are not in the show anymore and haven't been for over a year or more. Ancient history.
DeleteDerick and Jill are off the show. If you believe Derick, it was his decision to "take our family in "another direction." But after he made that announcement, more has come out about not being paid, having to volunteer to be filmed, and now being asked (forced?) to promise in writing not to disclose anything. Plus Derick has said they're not allowed at the big house without Jim Bob there.
DeleteThey may have been at Grandma's funeral but not aired, the way Josh is at weddings but kept out of camera range or edited out.
Why wouldn't Kendra's mother be shown?
DeleteWell since Jill and Derick quit the show it doesn’t make sense for them to be in any episodes.
DeleteKendra’s mom is probably asked to sign a consent form to agree that to being filmed, and I don’t see a reason why she would say no.
Dillards withdrew from the show, that's why they are not shown! If they stayed with the show, they will be on. There are no assertions and nothing is wrong with Duggar family. More like it's something wrong with Derick.
DeleteNot confusing at all. The Dillards left the show around the time Samuel was born. Jill has been briefly shown in a couple birth episodes since then, but otherwise they haven't been on in three years. I'm not sure what Kendra's mother has to do with it. I've never heard any announcement that she or any other in-laws would not be on the show.
DeleteIt’s nice that the Dillards were allowed to go to grandma’s funeral even though the show was filming.
DeleteThe Dillards wanted to get paid and they weren't that's why they justly quit the show.
DeleteIf the Duggars make a living flipping houses, why don't they actually FLIP Baylor house instead of leaving it vacant for years? Josiah and Lauren were going to live in it, but it required too much work so they live elsewhere.
ReplyDeleteWhat are you talking about? Josiah and Lauren have said, they don’t live in that Baylor house.
DeleteI think they finally sold that house after having it on the market for awhile.
DeleteI thought I heard they sold it since then.... I could be wrong
DeleteIt sat vacant while it was on the market. That's why they could use it for filming. It has since sold, I believe in March. There weren't "years" between when the work was finished and when it was listed for sale.
DeleteThat house was sold as I understand. It was for sale for a very, very long time.
DeleteThat house actually sold earlier this year for more than a million dollars.
DeletePoor Christina! Her reaction was very real! If the cameras weren’t rolling, I think she would’ve had sterner words!!!
ReplyDeleteI would have been LIVID. Actually, I would have been Michelle and refused to do it in the first place. My skin is too sensitive to play party games with.
DeleteI really like Anna; she’s matured and relaxed a lot over the years. Maybe, she’s just accepted her lot in life and is trying to make the best of it!
ReplyDeleteAccepted her lot in life, wow.
DeleteWell, so far she has six wonderful children, she lives with no financial worries, will always be provided for, along with her kids. What else?
DeleteAnon 2:28. The love, companionship, and caring of a spouse she can trust. "Always being provided for" is overrated. It's not that hard to provide for yourself.
DeleteAnonymous 2:28, maybe a partner who loves and respects her?
DeleteHow can Anna be living with no financial worries? Her husband barely has a car lot any more (wasn't it shut down?) and they don't/can't own a house or have assets in Josh's name. I wouldn't consider living off your father-in-law's good graces to be worry-free.
DeleteYou know her financial business?? Well if that’s the case, good for her! However, she does have a different kind of worry.
DeleteTheir business has been in the papers, and it's not hard to figure out what all that kind of news would do to any family's finances.
DeleteI can’t take Michelle’s voice! And Lauren is the same. The Duggar men are snoozers. Ben is sharp though. Btw, the women looked great with their hair up while doing the facials, especially Jessa and Kendra.
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one who misses the old Duggar values? The ones that traditionally put the show in place to begin with. I can see where my ratings have taken them...straight to unemployment and Rodeo Drive.
ReplyDeleteYes!!!
DeleteYes, but annoyingly this family and TLC both ignore that elephant in the room and want us to believe they're still the same frugal family who makes laundry soap in a bucket in the kitchen, like nothing happened.
DeleteIt's completely unrealistic to expect any family, especiallly one this huge, to stay the same as the kids grow up and have their own desires and ideas.
DeleteI for one would never expect any given family to do the same things from year to year.
DeleteDoing different activities from year to year is NOT what is meant by keeping your core values intact. Values have slipped on this show and in this family, if they ever really were what was claimed.
DeleteI hate to break the news to John. Being in labor is NOT like being "electrocuted". Of course if MEN had to carry and birth babies there would be a lot of one child families.
ReplyDeleteWe all know John has no clue what it actually feels like. I don't see why you would expect him to get it right.
DeleteDo you have personal experience with being electrocuted?
DeleteIf men were the ones to carry babies, God would equip them to do so just as He has women
Delete@2:03-obviously stages and Rodeo Drive has many top designers salons who’s taste might not be what you thing if fashionable.
ReplyDeleteI liked watching the episode. I liked how they showed all the young husbands with the babies playing, and then all the girls together. I liked how Spurgeon was "translating" what Henry was saying. LOL.
ReplyDeleteThe part with the husbands and the babies playing was ZZZZzzzz. That should be any normal day, not something special worthy of filming. Wonder if diapers got changed or if they waited til the women folk were back???
DeleteIf Jessa and Ben really want to help Henry and his speech issues, they need to discourage Spurgeon from "translating" for his younger brother.
DeleteWe had this situation in our family and my husband and I had to gently remind our older daughters not to talk for their younger brother. Gentle reminders and lots of patience were consistently given to develop our son's language skills.
Jinger sure has changed. The scene with Jana reminded me of when Joe and Kendra went to visit the Vuolo's in Laredo. They were so uncomfortable with the unusual food, while Jinger was diving in. She has embraced a new life and is stepping away from former ways of life.
ReplyDeleteJinger has always enjoyed trying new things and going to large cities....she hasn’t changed ... she is getting to do the things she has always loved . Isn’t it wonderful that God found Jeremy for Jinger...and together they get to explore and do all the fun things they do...she is thriving in her marriage 😀
DeleteI think Jinger has experienced all these new things and she probably wants to give her family members these experiences too. I do that when family or friends come to visit. If I’ve discovered a new restaurant or activity in my town, I usually bring them there.
DeleteI was listening to their podcast earlier, and she mentioned that she wishes she was more adventurous when her family used to go on big trips. She used trying sushi in Japan as an example. She said she was very skeptical at the time and didn’t really want to eat it, but now she would love the opportunity again! I call myself a recovering picky eater, and I can relate! While I still am quite picky and trying new foods isn’t my favorite thing to do, I am making an effort to eat new things, especially if I am in another country and want to be respectful.
DeleteJinger may be "diving in" to new things but she's still and always will be in the kiddie pool.
DeleteIt was not very eventful episode, but I liked that we got to see them all, and adult married Duggars and their kids too. Spurgeon is adorable. Gideon is definitely handful!
ReplyDeleteLabor doesn't feel like being electrocuted. Labor feels like trying to pass an elephant through a drinking straw while your bones and ligaments are being permanently ripped apart, but not electrocution! LOL
ReplyDeleteYeah. That was weird. I'm not sure what the "simulator" did but John's description of how it felt was way off the mark as far as labor goes.
DeleteDo you know what it feels like to be electrocuted?
DeleteDescribing childbirth in that way makes me awfully glad I avoided the experience altogether and we chose to adopt instead!
Delete@1:51 Well I for one do. I stuck a hairpin in an electrical socket as a kid, just to see what would happen! I've also been shocked trying to connect a plug to an extension cord. I believe that Tens machine they used to simulate labor must feel like what they do to you for a nerve conduction test. Had to have one of those once, and once was enough. But it was not like childbirth.
DeleteI enjoyed the show. I think the men now respect what the women go through in labor.
ReplyDeleteI was glad to see the women having girl time. I think it was good for all of them. I can't believe Jinger paid $300.00 for a blazer considering how she was raised.
Looking forward to the next episode. Natasha B.
On the contrary - it's obviously a huge reaction to just how she was raised! After growing up wearing hand-me-downs and thrift store clothing, I'm sure she couldn't wait to make her own choices once free of the claustrophobia. She seems to be the only one with a few brain cells in her head. Let her enjoy her freedom!
DeleteI tell you what. This might not get posted, but Jinger and Jeremy should be using their platform to warn others of Jesus return instead of coffee shops and clothes. That, my friends, is truly serving and loving your fellow man. I just got a real sense of urgency early this morning. We all need to put our lives in proper perspective.
ReplyDeleteThey do! You should check out their podcast. I think you would enjoy it!
DeleteWarn?
DeleteHow about instead of posting directions for them, you log off and live your life and let them live theirs.
DeleteUnknown- So, what will you do with your sense of urgency, stand on the street corners and “warn” people of Christ’s return?
DeleteIf Jinger and Jeremy can't see the perilous path they're heading down, if they've been blinded by the bright lights of Hollywood, then someone has to point it out.
DeleteI find it interesting that they are so enamored by the city built on money made by all the questionable practices in the TV and film industry in the last 100 years. Jinger and Jeremy are acting as if they've arrived in Mecca.
@8:44- From what we've seen of the Vuolo's, they like to going shopping, go out for coffee, go to church, and sight-see. I'm not sure how that translates into being on a perilous path, or how you are somehow qualified to point anything out to them. Yours is the kind of judgmental attitude that drives people away from church and is blinded by your own self-righteousness. Just thought I'd point that out to you.
DeleteAs the original poster, I am serving the Lord. I've been called to preach and have graduated from 2 Christian Universities. I have worked with serving the poor, sang in 3 church choirs and traveled to Anaheim and Nashville to sing at conferences (for the Lord). I'm not bragging, just making it clear that I'm not speaking from a lack of experience. Jinger and Jeremy do need to discern the times and make it about God, not self promotion. Good day and God bless!
Delete@11:31 You haven't been following things closely enough if you think that's all they're doing lately. I guess there are things going on that you're not aware of, so you wouldn't know and would feel that way, like nothing was amiss.
Delete@8:26- Well, why don't you enlighten us with all the juicy details?
DeleteJana appears to be burned out with the TV show. Since she's not in a position to quit (like Derrick and Jill) or pull back (like Joy and Austin) she engages in this passive/aggressive behavior. She goes on the shopping trip which is supposed to be a fun thing, makes it clear she's uncomfortable then refuses to buy anything. The rest of the family seems to enjoy the attention and easy money.
ReplyDeleteIt has become so frustrating to watch Jana. Total lack of enthusiasm for the show--as if appearing on camera is an unpleasant chore for her. Yet she trudges on, supporting her family and pleasing her parents and having little choice in life. Depressing.
DeleteAnon 12:27. I agree. After so many years of this show I can see why Jana is like that. I think she'd like to get out of the whole ting.
Delete@12:27- yes! It’s Jana’s lack of enthusiasm/canned answers/appearing on camera as if it is a chore for her!!! You said it very well! So, quit the show Jana if it’s become so difficult for you!
DeleteI really like to hear Anna Share. I was surprised to see her in the episode but not sharing at the ladies day in.
ReplyDeleteI thought this episode was enjoyable. I like it when they show different aspects of their life. I always want more real day to day stuff so I liked seeing the kids interact and play. On the prior episode I was also happy to hear that Ben is finishing school soon! I forgot what she said but I thought she said he was finishing in a few weeks or months? I haven't heard an announcement so I guess he didn't graduate in the Spring semester.
ReplyDeleteSometimes you don't have a graduation. You complete the last of the credits you need with no ceremony and no hoopla, and they mail you a diploma.
DeleteBut what was he getting his diploma for?
DeleteSince John was not killed or suffered any serious injury he was NOT "electrocuted". I'm not sure what the simulator did but if he thinks he was "electrocuted" so be it.
ReplyDelete@ 12:31: I agree with you, that John, was not being electrocuted, by this machine. I think that this machine, is designed to stimulate the pelvic muscles, with a mild electrical current, in order to get the muscles contracting. The contracting of the pelvic muscles, is supposed to give people, an idea, of what labor, feels like.
DeleteIt conducts electricity so yes he was electrocuted. I use one of those. You can dial up or down the degree of electricity. If it is up to high you muscle spaces and contracts. I had a machine get a short in it once and it shocked me full power and it was a serious shock.
DeleteThe definition of electrocution is the harming or killing by electric shock. Just because something conducts electricity doesn’t mean you are electrocuted when you use it.
DeleteJana can QUIT the show anytime , she is an ADULT. Please don't make and excuse for her.
ReplyDeleteAnd do what? She never went to college,
Deleteshe lives at home with her parents with no way to make money, and is basically stuck. What do you want her to do?
1:29 Jana is in a challenging position but not without a solution. She could move in with a sibling or with her friend Laura while she learns to be independent. She could take some classes right now to prepare for a career sufficient to support herself. She could start with a simple job and move up over time. She could develop relationships outside of her family and go places and do things alone or with her own friends. This is how people grow up and create a life for themselves. If her father won't allow any of this, what does that say about him? And her too, as a 30 year old?
DeleteAnon 12:09 Jana could do a lot of things but since this situation has gone on for so long, I doubt anything you have suggested will happen.
DeleteNot surprising that Michelle named “disobedience” and “attention seeking” as reasons for potty training regression. no mention of possible stress, huh Michelle? She sure isn’t the warm type, is she? Sad for the kids...
ReplyDeleteIt all has to do with your frame of reference. Our first lady would consider a $300 jacket a cheap knock-off. lol
ReplyDeleteSeriously though...does Jana have an income producing job, besides the tv show?
ReplyDeleteNo. That's why she doesn't quit the show even though she seems rather unhappy in most of the interviews and scenes.
DeleteIt sickened me to see someone pay that much for one piece of clothing. It could clothe many that kind of money. It feed many. She needs to wear it every day her life to get that money's worth out of it.
ReplyDelete
