    1. I agree. I look back on her as a teen and think how she has really blossomed both inside and out. Her presence on the show is missed.

    1. I don’t think for a minute that staying with a cheating and notoriously deceitful husband qualifies someone as being a Godly wife. I hope Anna is happy and her marriage works out long term. However, I wouldn’t count on Josh to have changed much. His type is very predictable and they use prayer and forgiveness as a crutch.

    2. Anon. 9:48 AM------- People can change you know. You just never know. but either way it is between Anna and Josh and is not our business.

  18. 32 with 6 kids. My oh my. Wonderful and awful at the same time. I can’t decide. Wonderful if the kids are in public school to give their mom a few hours daily breathing room! Awful if the used car lot can’t support them in style....

    1. It sounds awful to me! I don't understand why any would want that many children. I highly doubt that Anna will send them to public school. She'll "homeschool" them.

    2. Homeschooling is the way to go if your eyes are open about the new sex ed curriculum, which goes beyond science into the perverse.

    3. Don't worry. Jana helps with the kids and TV show provides what the car lot doesn't.

    4. When Michelle turned 32 years old in September 1998, she was heavily pregnant with her second set of twins who are #10 and #11 (who were born in December of that year), So she had 9 kids running around plus the twins in her belly. John, the oldest was 10 (just like Mackynzie now).

    5. A good number of people want that many because they love children. Why is that hard to understand? And why is homeschool in quotation marks?

      Delete
    6. We have 13 homeschooled children, and it's wonderful. I couldn't imagine our lives without even one of them! They are a challenge, but a joy at the same time.

    7. Wow. Some people are comfortable around children, see the value in them, and love them even. I have five myself, and while life is messy and loud sometimes, I love every one of them and cannot imagine life without any one of them. It's so fun to watch them each blossoming as their own persons, developing their gifts in music, art, humor, writing, drama, etc. My youngest is so cuddly and loving and makes life better for all of us. We would have missed out on so much joy if we would have stopped at four. That's why someone would want so many. They are each a gift to us, to know them and have the privilege of being their parents.

    8. 8:58 I have two grown children and I don't think I've missed out on anything by not having more.

      Delete
    9. 8:58, why did you stop at 5 then? Your 6th,7th and 8th could have brought you joy as well.

      Delete
    10. 10:11 the number you children you have does not determine how much you love them.

      Delete
    11. Maybe you should have more.

    12. 8:58- If you find having a big family a wonderful thing, that's great. However, it sounds like you're saying that you couldn't have been satisfied with stopping at four. So, are you shooting for six, seven, or more because you never know, you might be missing out on more cuddles and loving? With that logic, it sounds like you'd never be satisfied with what you have. My husband and I have two grown children and I don't regret not having more because I don't miss something I didn't have. I certainly don't entertain the idea that I'd have been happier with more kids. I've known some big families, but they were a far cry from being happy and full of joy.

    13. 8:36, my sixth was a miscarriage, thank you very much.

    14. You’re welcome.

    15. Anon@ 8:58- I understand that you were defending your choice to have a large family and that's ok. What's right for one person may not be right for someone else. You kind of imply, however, that people who have a lot of kids are somehow more loving or better people than those who don't. Nothing could be further from the truth.

    16. 8:58 I guess I never went into parenthood with the expectation that my children were going to make me happy and that the more I had, the better my life would be. I was pretty happy and fulfilled before I became a parent. I love my kids very much, but they've grown up
now and are leading lives of their own. I think it would've been very selfish of me to keep having more in order to postpone the empty nest, because of how it would make ME feel.

    17. 9:54 and 12:00, the reason I posted was in response to the person who said it sounded awful and wanted to know why anyone would want that many children. I was answering why someone would want that many children. Not criticizing people who wanted fewer. My expectation going into having children was NOT that the more I had, the happier I'd be. I wanted 4. But I have since seen how much I would have missed out on if we had stopped at four and my youngest had not been born. The world would have missed out on a great person. My life significance is not all about my children. I worked before having kids. I have a master's degree. I think about different options of the things I could do when they are grown. I accept the fact that my husband is ready to be done now with five. That's my life experience. You do you. I was just answering a question with my personal thoughts and experiences. Aren't you glad we can learn from people who are different than us?

    18. I was NOT saying that people who don't have big families don't love their kids. I was talking about people who love being around kids and thrive on that. Some of them channel that into teaching or being a house parent or having a large family. It's something that some people are just born with, I think. I also don't think that everyone who has a large family loves kids.

      Delete
    19. 12:00, yes, it would be very selfish to have a child strictly for that one reason and not because you actually wanted to create another being to love and influence.

      Delete
    20. 12:00, you are sharing things from your life perspective, as was I. We have different perspectives, and that's ok. I was just explaining, from my perspective, why anyone would want a larger family, in answer to another commenter's remark.

    21. It's okay to have just one or 20 or none at all.People need to quit judging, whatever is right for your family is and should be respected by others. Just mind your own already!!!✌

    1. She gets more beautiful because she fixes her teeth, does her hair in current fashion and wears tons of makeup. All this happened after the Josh scandal.

    2. Anna looks lovely. I have never seen any photo of her with tons of makeup. I also never noticed anything wrong with her teeth that needed any fix. She also looked lovely before the scandal, so I am not sure why 11:50 made that comment.

      Delete
    3. 11:50, nothing wrong with doing things to accentuate her natural beauty, but I think what some of us are noticing is a glow, perhaps more confidence. She was very young when she joined a large television family, and seemed tentative and nervous that the world was watching (and criticizing) her life. Throw in the devastating betrayal punch to her marriage, and suddenly she was challenged to grow as a woman in a huge way. Obviously we haven't been privy to much since Josh came home and this is all conjecture on my part, but she has a different air about her now.

    4. I think that after navigating a difficult passage in her marriage Anna has gained a lot of strength and self assurance. She come across as calm, mature and ready to handle whatever life throws at her.

  24. Long stringy hair is not stylish. The shorter hair, such as Jill’s and Jinger’s are actually more stylish.
I don’t look forward to seeing Michelle’s current hairstyle on her when she’s 80. But I think the Bible says women should have long hair. Not sure, though.
