Has it really been ten years since Josie' Brooklyn Duggar's premature birth? And since today is December 10th, it's her golden birthday. One of our first posts to this blog was about Josie's arrival. She weighed 1 pound 6 ounces and spent months in the hospital in Little Rock. Praise God that she is thriving at age 10!

Josie still reminds me of a little doll. She is such a Pettit pretty little girl. Hope Josie has a wonderful 10th birthday, she has come through so much in her young life but seems to be doing well. Happy birthday Josie, have a great day 🎉🎁🎂

ReplyDeleteAnon@10.33. I must admit I wasn’t sure why they are referring to it as her “golden” birthday. I had my golden birthday last Friday, it’s nice to be a Sagittarius along with Josie. Maybe someone will enlighten us as to what is meant by her golden birthday.
DeleteA Golden Birthday, is when the age that you are turning, matches, the date, of your birthday. For instance, my birthday is Oct. 12th, so my Golden Birthday, was when I turned 12. A Golden Anniversary, is when a couple has been married for 50 years, or when a king/queen, has been on the throne, for 50 years, or when it has been 50 years since a certain movie premiered.
DeleteA golden birthday is when you turn the same age as the day you were born ie (she is turning 10 and was born on the 10th) 50 is to celebrate a golden anniversary!!

ReplyDeleteThe state of Josie's health will never be answered. They skirted the issues back then and they will continue to do so. I do hope that she is ok and will be. They talk about ONLY what they WANT to talk about.

DeleteShe is far smaller than her sister Jordyn, just one year older.
DeleteYes, she still looks like a very early preemie. I have never seen it go away until after puberty, and sometimes not even then.

DeleteJordyn had a “golden birthday” last year and not a word was said about it.

DeleteTo 4:55 - I believe that is their right...and they certainly would not want to attract any negative comments about their daughter - who is only a child.
