  1. I can’t usually watch the videos in the UK, but from the photos I think she looks just like how her auntie Jenni did when she was born!
Those Duggar genes sure are strong! 😁

  14. I think Addison looks like Kendra. And Kendra looks a little tired (or maybe just no makeup).

    2. Eek! Just don't comment on how a mom of a newborn looks. Whether online or in person, don't do it.

    3. I think these pictures are taken right after the baby was born, weren't we all a bit tired right after giving birth. Not to mention they have Garrett toddling around as well. I think she looks fabulous!

  18. I dislike bows around newborn girls' heads. I think little girls are quite cute enough without it. You don't need to improve upon God's perfection, and a newborn is perfection. You also don't need to subject a newborn to a photoshoot, by putting them in cutesy photos. This can't be best for a baby. Take a few photos with your phone, when the baby is comfortable and happy.

    1. πŸ™„babies are very happy in their newborn photoshoots, hence them sleeping with content little faces. When babies are upset they let you know by crying. Did Addison look like she was crying to you? Also there is no reason to not put a bow on a baby, of course they are cute without them, everyone knows that, bows are just an accessory that is not harming the baby in any way. Why did you feel the need to leave such a negative comment?

    2. Do you wear make-up or fix your hair up or anything else to improve how God made you?

      Delete
    3. @11:22- You don't need to tell other people how they should be dressing their newborn or when they should take their photos. Life is too short to pick apart others over such trivialities.

    4. Why be a party pooper! I didn't put bows on my daughter, this little girl is Kendra and Joe's daughter and they get to decide. As for photo shoots, gosh the one pic of sweet Addison swaddled is priceless and the ones together with Garrett so so special. They have that brand new look for such a short time and professional newborn photographers do a great job of capturing those moments. I'm sure they have lots of phone snaps too......you sound a little sour or jealous?

    5. I agree about the headbands and bows. Babies aren’t able to tell parents when they are uncomfortable or hurting. Any woman remembers wearing headbands as a girl and only being able to make it halfway through the school day before having to take it off from hurting behind your ears. Newborns have soft heads and lay on them all day. Strapping an accessory around them for the sake of the parents’ vanity is cruel and thoughtless.

    6. 9:10, not true. Babies are very capable of communicating. They cry.

    7. 9:10, and the headbands that I remember hurting were plastic, not these soft bows.

      Delete
    8. If this baby cries, do you really think mom is going to immediately say, “it must be the headband” and remove it? I doubt it

    1. Anna was the first to announce, did'nt she announce in April, she must be overdue or she's already given birth and we'll get an announcement soon, and if she's overdue she should be indused soon,I'd say in the next few days.

    1. Not so trendy when she's 60yrs old lol

    2. No, but there will be other 60 year old Addisons.

    3. 11:16 which they will regret lol

    4. Not necessarily. They'll fit in with their age group and all the other names that were trendy when they were born, just like every other generation.

  25. Why do they feel the need to release pictures only through some place that will pay them? That turns babies into commodities.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. The family's entire livelihood has been using their kids and family as commodities since well before some of them were even born. Nothing new here.

      Delete
    2. TLC probably was already there to film the birth. It makes sense to release the pictures through them. I am glad they chose TLC and not People magazine. Either way, it is their child and their decision!
