  1. Oh yes, we all know how much the Duggars like roughing it. Can't these producers come up with better things to film?

    1. No they can't. So it is time for this show to end. It is so boring

    2. Who takes some sort of platform thingy camping? Obviously it was TLC's idea.

    3. Yes, for a simple Monday night family get-together, they must have spent a week packing everything including the kitchen sink. I saw some industrial sized crock pot or pressure cooker, plugged into an extension cord running from somewhere. Those tents looked brand new and never set up before. Even that motor home looked brand new. Someone spent time building that walking A-frame game and those skis. Just your normal weekly family bonding time...with about half a million dollars of equipment.

    4. 9:24, have you seen their storage? It's not out of the realm of possibility that they already had some of that stuff. As to the team building equipment, it was basically boards and ropes. With so many people with handy man skills, it was probably no big deal for them to put that together. Do you not remember their yearly trips to family camp, where they cook their own meals outside? No big deal that they had cooking equipment already. And why even mention the extension cord? That's not that uncommon.

  2. House hunting? The church owns that house. They were headed there all along.

    1. Exactly. That's one of the issues I have with this show. They never would have moved to LA without having this house offered to them.

    2. They probably knew that it was an option, but they wanted to see what else was available. Or maybe they didn't know about it ahead of time. We don't know.

    3. Of course. That's why Jeremy is going to school there.

    4. Oh i didnt know that the house was owned by their church.

  3. So Lauren got pregnant 4 months after miscarriage and she said they struggled to get pregnant? 4 months is pretty good! I am unable to get pregnant so when someone says they struggled when they didn’t it is a little annoying

    1. That was totally bogus. No one is considered "infertile" until they've tried for a YEAR to get pregnant. I was in that situation and that's what the doctor said and I wasn't referred to infertility treatment until a year had passed. I was lucky and was able to have children after treatment.

    2. But look at it from her perspective, not yours. She is very young and has maybe never really suffered before. To her, already discouraged and depressed, to try and fail to get pregnant month after month, it probably did feel like a long time. From your perspective and mine, it's not a long time, but that's our perspective.

    3. I have heard people say wait a bit before getting pregnant after a miscarriage. I myself had a miscarriage with twins and couldn't imagine getting pregnant any time before 1 year. My body and mind were all on my babies that I lost.

    4. 10:09, you are actually pretty fertile right after a miscarriage. I got pregnant a couple weeks after miscarrying. The first trimester was a breeze, because I didn't know I was pregnant for most of it. No morning sickness. I just thought my body was taking a while to readjust after the pregnancy. I'm sorry you lost your twins.

    5. I'm not saying anything regarding fertility, I'm simply saying let yourself rest before rushing to get pregnant. I had to see a high risk doctor and my regular doctors and they all agreed that the body needs time to rest between pregnancies. Less than a year is too soon. Not just my opinion.

    6. GL 90, I'm sorry that you lost your twins, but I have to respectfully disagree with you. I know several individuals who tried to conceive immediately after losing a child through stillbirth or miscarriage. Even though they were devastated like you were, it was the only way that they could 'move on' with their lives (in their own words). In other words, they were trying to make something positive from something negative. Some believe that to be very healthy.

Also, Josiah and Lauren have both been blessed with a lot of faith. They know that their first one is alive in Heaven and waiting for them. So it's not at all about replacing little Asa. It's about bringing another angel into the world. We are all here for a short time anyway; until we leave to meet our creator. God Bless you.

  4. The Ministry Home is beautiful. It certainly would be nice if they could persuade them to extend the lease until Jeremy graduates and finds something more permanent.

    1. They need to move aside and let someone else have that home. They can afford anything. Others might not be able.

    2. It seems to be short-term housing.

    3. IDK about anyone else. But I would have sold one of the cars, to be able to live in that one old fashioned house. Not because Charlie Chaplin might have lived there. But just because I love that style of house. 🙂

  5. Thank you all for giving us something entertaining and decent to watch. My 11 year old granddaughter loves your show, so I record it for her. God bless you all

  6. Loved this episode! My favorite so far.
Great job TLC, except for the commercials.
The skirt thing still puzzles me though. So inappropriate for this kind of outing.

  7. Oh my gosh Lauren!! Enough already. You were not “trying for quite some time” to conceive. It was 4 months. You have no idea of what struggle really is.

    1. Wow, that's harsh. Give her a break. She's only 20. She's also very sweet and kind. How can you be not be be happy for her?

  8. To November 12, 2019 . Maybe the Duggars could come up with something a little better to film Ledabeth

  9. Why can't they just come out and say that those 'realtors' showing the Vuolos properties are associated with that ministry school Jeremy is attending and that it was long ago settled that the V's would be staying at that large house. Really, 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms for 2.5 people? Felicity doesn't need her own bathroom yet. This show is so fake and misleading it's not funny any more. They need to come out and be genuine. and YES, it was like watching House Hunters....not funny at all, just completely misleading to the viewing audience. What is the rent on that home? I bet Jeremy isn't paying anything but utilities on it.

  10. My Dad and I loved the show. We loved the outing when they were at the creek and Jim Bob fell. Glad he was ok but a wonderful family memory. I liked the announcement where Michelle was almost going to say where the toddlers and mothers were going to sleep in the bus. But Josiah and Lauren announced that they were expecting. Can't wait to watch Counting On in 2020. Natasha B.
