Happy [almost] Friday! Thought you might enjoy this new photo of Jordyn Duggar, who turns 11 years old in December. Jana took her on a shopping trip the other day, and she posed for a photo with cut-outs of Jonathan and Drew Scott, otherwise known as the Property Brothers. Have you seen their TV show?

ReplyDeleteWhy are people thinking they don’t watch tv? They just don’t watch most things on tv, and that only applies to the kids who still live at home. A few if not all of the married kids have TVs in their homes, so the other Duggars have seen shows since then.

DeleteI think "broadcast tv" refers to the main networks ABC, NBC, and CBS.

ReplyDeleteI don't know how they watch their own show, if they watch it on TLC. The commercials between segments are terrible. Do they or the kids realize what else is promoted during their show? They shouldn't be part of it at all.

DeleteThe Benham brothers don’t have and never did have their own show. They made a pilot that wasn’t picked up by the network.

DeleteJordyn may not known exactly who they are but Jana probably does. They all seem to know Chip and Joanna for sure. Jana can watch tv, I guess. There is probably not much JB can do about the adults.

ReplyDeleteI saw the property brothers on HGTV renovating the brady bunch house. Awesome show. I got to meet and greet 3 of the brady kids Barry Williams (Greg). Christopher Knight (Peter), and Susan Olson (Cindy) at Kings Island 2013. They were very nice to me. Natasha B.
ReplyDeleteI met "Alice" - Ann B. Davis. Very nice - interesting story to her later life. I had her autograph an old 1950's magazine ad she appeared in for a detergent, when she was playing "Schultzy" on "The Bob Cummings Show." That autographed ad hangs over my washer now.

Delete12:18, why? I feel like it would be nicer for the kids to all have their own special days considering the fact that there are so many of them they typically tend to get grouped together. Michelle couldn’t even remember all of the grandkids names.

ReplyDeleteI'm sure it was a real treat for Jordyn to go to the home improvement store and have picture taken with cardboard cutouts. No doubt they were shopping for supplies for another one of Jana's projects.

DeleteI saw the cutouts at Kohl’s yesterday. The brothers have a line of home decor sold there.

ReplyDeleteI'm a little surprised that Jordyn posed (or Jana had/allowed her to pose) with a cutout of the Scott Brothers as Jonathan Scott's been dating Zooey Deschanel while she was still legally married to her husband. That kind of goes against the grain of everything the Duggars have preached and taught their children and others in Family Conference and Marriage seminars. Perhaps Jana and Jordyn were unaware?
ReplyDeleteAre you serious? TLC promotes quite a few things that go against the grain of the Duggars' beliefs. That hasn't stopped them from doing business/associating with them.
DeleteI can't respect people who associate with a company that goes against the grain of their beliefs, but the people stay in it for the money. That's not admirable.
DeleteLighten up. Taking a picture next to a piece of cardboard with their pictures on it doesn't mean the Duggars are putting their "stamp of approval" on anything the Scott brothers do in real life.

DeleteTaking a picture next to a cardboard likeness is a big deal. It says one, you recognize them. Two, you want your picture taken with them. Three, you want to share it with the world. If that was a "Nike!" moment for them, that picture would never have happened.

I think it's great they are actually shopping at a department store and not a thrift shop. This must be another area of change the Duggars are integrating into their lives and I think it's great! They should certainly be able to afford a few new things now.
