Are you kidding? He has plenty of cousins close to his age, and there are plenty of animals at Grandma and Grandpa's house!!! And his family just went through so much with losing baby Annabell. Gideon has a lot!!!!
There are WAY too many pets in North America! Besides, he probably is at that Fort Rock all the time and with his cousins. How many more 'friends' does a child need than being around hundreds of people every week?
@1:35 Not sure there's such thing as too many pets - "pets" meaning that they're already a part of someone's family. I would agree that there are too many irresponsible pet owners, and too many owners that won't spay and neuter on time, adding to full shelters.
If they couldn't take the cat to CA, I hope they found it a good home, and that it was neutered. I hope they didn't surrender it to a shelter to be someone else's responsibility. I don't think the Duggars are "cat" people. Dogs and cows, maybe.
Jake the cat has not shown up in any photos after the move, and has not been talked about, even after people asked about him. Seems like Jake didn't make the move. I don't know how you can so quickly give up a cat you've had as a pet, but then I'm not a Duggar. To me, a cat is a lifetime responsibility.
What a lovely little boy Gideon truly is. He has lovely hair & a sweet little face. He still looks like Austin, though is changing into his own little person. I’m sure this little man is giving Joy & Austin a great deal of comfort & happiness during what has been a very difficult few months for them.

Not following your math there 12:21. 18 months is a year and a half, or 1.5 years. A year (12 months) times your 1.6 answer equals 19.2 months. What math curriculum do you use?
Basic math! 1.5 means 1 1/2, and at 18 months, Gideon is 1 1/2 years old. 6 months is 1/2 a year and 5 is half of 10 decimal places (.1, .2, .3, .4, .5, .6, .7, .8, .9 and .0). 1.5 is correct. 1.6 is not

Cute kid! They should adopt a dog or cat. Give him a friend.

DeleteThat would be great! A pet could also help Joy and Austin cope with the loss of Annabell.
DeleteThe last thing any traveling and busy and distracted Duggar needs is a pet. Speaking of which, what happened to Jinger's cat? Seems to be MIA.
Delete9:42, the cat could be most any place. They haven't released photos of their new home that I've seen.

Delete@1:17 I've seen the house, in and out.

Why? It's been said that they are living in a RV while Austin flips another house. Last thing they need in a RV is a pet.

Delete5:11, that is so cool. Did you actually go in their new house, see a video tour, pictures, or what?
DeleteI hope they didn't abandon Jake just leaving him outside their old home after they had been feeding him. That would be heartless.

ReplyDelete18 months is 1.6 not 1.5. 12+6 =18.

DeleteThat's not how that works. .5 is one half - 6 months is one half of a year. Hence 18 months is 1.5 years.
Delete18 months is a year and a half, one and a half is numerically shown as 1.5. Half of anything is usually shown as .5

Proof that common core math isn't working!
DeleteAny news about how Joy and Austin are doing? And how about Big Sandy catch up???
ReplyDeleteI don't think Joy and Austin are going to Big Sandy. Michelle is speaking there though.
DeleteGideon is a beautiful boy. Love this picture of Gideon. God Bless,
