I see a little of both of them in Garret, but I think he look more like Joe.
ReplyDeleteIn the photo were Garrett is older, I think he looks like Joe. Looks slightly more like mom in the younger photo. Beautiful boy in both pictures!

ReplyDeleteI've always thought Garrett looked like Kendra but as he gets older, he is starting to resemble Joe a bit more. Can't wait to see who their baby daughter looks like!

ReplyDeleteHe is so adorable!!! He is a good mix of Mommy and Daddy! I see Joe's eyes for sure and Garrett's little ears look like Daddy's! The rest looks like Kendra! Both parents are knock outs, their children are going to be gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteWhen has anyone ever said the Duggars use physical force to train their children,and if they have it's just malignant lies,blanket training is'nt like training a puppy to do it on the blanket and hit them if they don't understand,it's just making a child get used to being on a blanket to play just like some babies can getused to being in his mother's arms all the time,I'll admit I've got an arched back for letting my baby order me to have him in my arms a lot,I sure wish I knew the blanket method,but then my son was later diagnosed with autism so it probably would'nt have worked on him,but blanket training is great for mom and baby.
DeleteI doubt it, they seem smarter than that, and I can’t imagine Kendra hitting him, she just doesn’t seem like the type.
DeleteI personally have read much on blanket training & I have to disagree with the poster who says it isn’t cruel. Blanket training is very cruel to a young child & could be detrimental to development. I would never have dreamed of forcing either of my lovely babies to stay on a blanket & then scold them if they crawled off. My 2 turned out just fine without such “training”. Iv also seen videos on line of Jill teaching her boys this method & both of them have been extremely distressed during the process. There is no way I see Kendra doing blanket training, that girl doesn’t look like she could do anything to upset her child in any way. She comes across as an incredibly gentle young woman.

DeleteI read a little about blanket training, it's just cruel. Why would any parent do that to a young child? Why wouldn't you want your child to think for themselves? It's abuse. I did see Jill using it on her boys.

DeleteSlightly silly comment, “if he looked like neither he would be adopted”. I know many young children that look totally unlike either parent. Obviously he is equally genetically like both parents, but that does not mean he needs to look like them. Some people see what they want in a baby & Iv seen relatives say the baby looks just like dad when in actual fact they don’t know the full story of the conception & the child is an IVF baby from a sperm donor, so cannot look like his “dad” as he is not genetically related.

ReplyDeleteI've a feeling the upcoming baby will look like Joe because Garrett looks more like Kendra,but we'll see,not long to go now,maybe she'll arrive early just like Garrett maybe mid or late October.

ReplyDeleteWell,I'm good at drawing faces so I can tell you he has Kendra's lips,nose and face shape and he has Joe's forehead,deep set eyes and chin,so Garrett is an equal mix of his parents,so that's why people are contradictive of whom he looks like,they don't concentrate on each of his facial features,people think he looks more like kendra because the nose shape is the central part of the face and thats what makes him look more like his mom.

ReplyDeleteHe's half way,dad's forehead,and deep set eyes and mom's nose and face shape and lips not as thin as mom's and not as full as dad's,Josh is halfway between his parents looks also that's why some say he looks like one parent and some say another,same with Garrett.

ReplyDeleteJoe is dark blond and so is Kendra. I expected he would be more blond as a baby based on the parents hair color.
