Felicity Vuolo with grandparents (Chuck and Diana Vuolo)
Happy 1st birthday to Felicity! Jinger, Jeremy, and Felicity are now living in Los Angeles, as of a few weeks ago, but Jeremy's parents traveled all the way from their home in the East Coast to celebrate their granddaughter's birthday.

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Felicity π
ReplyDeleteHappy 1st Birthday to a beautiful little girl name felicity and have a wonderful special birthday today and god bless you
ReplyDeleteHAPPY BIRTHDAY little oneπππππππππππππππ
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, not the best birthday picture of her with her grandparents. They look great, she has a weird look on her face. Not the best shot.
ReplyDeleteWow that so rude! Shes baby! Be nice! Cant u wish her happy first bday?.....
DeleteWhen a "happy birthday!" just won't do.
DeleteThere's always that one comment. Happy birthday Felicity. She's adorable and such a happy baby. Jinger, if you read this, I love her outfit!
DeleteIn my opinion if you think it’s okay to comment on a baby, any baby, looking weird, then you need to think about what sort of person you are and what values you hold.
DeleteShe is clapping and smiling, I like it’s spontaneous character.
DeleteWhat a weird thing to say about a baby. And what are you talking about?? She looks adorable!
DeleteYou’re just being mean for the sake of being mean. You must have a mean soul.
DeleteOh please.. she looks fine!
DeleteSigh.. here come the naysayers!
DeleteWho says this about a child with her grandparents. She is beautiful. If you can't say that, then say nothing.
DeleteWhat do you mean "a weird look"? I don't notice anything odd, she is just smiling to someone.
DeleteI don't know if this will get posted or not, but maybe if we quit feeding into the negative posters, maybe they will quit and leave this blog. They obviously just like to stir things up. How many of us have actually had co-workers like this? I know I have.
DeleteThe original comment said Felicity had a weird look on her face, not that Felicity herself looked weird. I think Felicity looks perfectly adorable, but honestly, 10:15 didn't commit a crime by saying she had a weird expression on in that particular photo.
DeleteWho says that about a 1 year old?! She looks adorable.
DeleteShe doesn’t look “weird”. Clearly someone is doing something behind the camera to grab her attention (her mum or dad) & she is showing wide eyed excitement at what’s going on behind the camera. It’s a lovely excited look on her face.
DeleteWhen a comment like this is posted, the best response is no response. It's funny and rewarding to them when you get upset and post things like "shame on you", "how rude", you're mean", etc. You aren't going to make one difference in their behavior with your disapproval, because it is entertaining to them to get a reaction. Actually, quite a few people find the disapproving reactions hilarious, because you are falling right into their trap.
DeleteLook, I am the original poster here, and I was not looking to set a trap or rile people up for my own amusement. Take, for example, the fact that one usually has to take multiple selfies until 'the one' has been taken. I was simply meaning that this particular photo did not seem like 'the one'. Felicity herself is not being made into a target, and is quite adorable. The photo was just not the best photo in my opinion.
Delete@1:30; I think there are some people who enjoy responding to the trolls just as much as the trolls like fishing for attention. In fact, they'd be disappointed if there wasn't something or someone to be outraged about.
Delete1:09 I guess you are right that both sides relish the battle— I admit I find it entertaining to observe! It would be very boring to see 30 comments that say "Happy Birthday" and not much more
Delete10:53 Thanks for clearing that up!
DeleteWhat an adorable picture of Jeremy and Felicity!!

ReplyDeleteI love seeing adorable Felicity having so many adventures with her parents! She is learning a lot about the world.
ReplyDeleteLol she's a bit young to know too much lol
DeleteYou can tell that Jeremy's parents just adore Felicity.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the Duggar’s will be visiting Felicity.
ReplyDeleteI hope so!!
DeleteI'm sure they will. She is their grandchild also
DeleteThey definitely will eventually, but they’re kind of dealing with a lot right now, what with them losing Grandma Mary and baby Annabell. Not to mention they’ll probably bring some of the kids with them when they go and they probably want to give them some time to settle in.
DeleteWhy wouldn't they??
DeleteHappy Birthday Felicity, U cute little soccer player!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love U 3!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat if she chooses baseball or golf?
DeleteGolf is the worst
DeleteJeremy's parents look like MY grandparents did when I was young. They seem so happy.
ReplyDeleteI love Diana's hair style, dress and necklace. They are so becoming to her.
ReplyDeleteOh she looks like her GPa Vuolo here... Happy Birthday to her!
ReplyDeleteFelicity is turning from a beautiful baby into an even more beautiful little girl. How lovely of her grandparents to have visited to share her special day. I doubt the Duggar's would visit LA somehow. Have a lovely birthday felicity & enjoy the year ahead which I’m sure will be very exciting for you & your mum & dad as you grow.
ReplyDeleteThe Duggars have traveled a lot, including to California. There's no reason why they wouldn't go to LA.
DeleteGosh I must of missed their visits to California. I’m surprised they have visited there as it really doesn’t seem the kind of place they would approve of. So many people with very little clothes on, on roller skates & at the beach. I know the Duggar’s have travelled extensively, but iv never seen them visit anywhere with a lot of beaches where young women (& men for that matter), wear bikinis & shorts. I thought they weren’t allowed to look at the opposite sex unless covered appropriately! When my friends lived in LA for a year they said it was so hot they lived in shorts & t shirts, & they loved it. Not sure how the Duggar’s would react to that though.
DeleteJB and Michelle still have a bunch of school age children at home. They aren't free to just take off on trips like Chuck and Diana are.
DeleteFuzzyferet, I'm remembering at least their trip to Disney in California (one of the earliest specials) and Jim Bob and Michelle's getaway to San Francisco. Probably they've been there other times.
DeleteTbf we in the UK have never had all the specials etc so it’s possible iv missed those episodes. I have never seen them in Disney or San Francisco. I just think for a family that don’t even wear proper swim wear to the beach because it shows too much flesh, then LA would be a definite no no for them. It’s probably the one place more than anywhere else, where people wear very little, it’s just so hot & no one wants to be covered on the beach, or even walking around the parks.
DeleteThey go to the beach anyway and pretend to avert their eyes, but they still see. All those skimpy beach outfits do is remind them how they think their way of covering up is better, so it's affirmation for them.
Delete@3:25 When in San Fran, didn't the producers make them visit a head shop (smoke shop), just to get their reaction?
DeleteπΆ Happy Birthday Blessings to Felicity!!! πΆ πππ
ReplyDeleteHappy 1st birthday, Felicity!
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see Jeremy's parents. I think the last time I saw them was when Jeremy and Jinger were engaged. Happy 1st birthday, Felicity! <3
ReplyDeleteDidn't you watch their wedding?
DeleteChuck and Diana, were in both the gender reveal episode, and the birth episode.
DeleteHappy Birthday!!! I can’t believe it’s been a year! I’ve got my 3rd grand baby due any day now and I’m only 40! Wow time flies!
ReplyDelete7:37 I chuckled at your comment cause I'm 59 and don't have any and don't know if I ever will. The kids are too busy with their careers. I feel left behind at times, but in no way do I pressure them cause it's their lives, and it makes me happy if they are happy.
DeleteDon’t worry anon 10.40, your not alone. I’m in my early 50s & there is no sign of my two children making me a granny any time soon. Like your children, mine too are more interested in their careers. My daughter is due to start her first teaching job in September after graduating university earlier this month, & my son is studying cardiovascular surgery & has years of training ahead of him. Il keep you company on the grand baby free front. If it happens for us eventually, imagine how happy we will be. But like you I wouldn’t dream of pushing them to have children as the time isn’t right. My two arnt even married yet, as my son & his girlfriend can’t even find time for a wedding, due to their medical commitments & my daughter at 21 thinks she is far too young to get married & have babies.
DeleteThey’re smart!
DeleteFuzzy, that is sad.. hopefully they will have time to start a family before they regret it later I know so many women who chose careers 1st and now are too old for kids. They struggle with it all the time and a few did invitro. Tm
Delete8:47 And I know quite a few women who had kids very young, had no time for schooling or job training and are now middle aged, struggling to find a career. There are pros and cons to whatever decision a person makes. You live with it and make the most of things.
DeleteAnon 8.47. I do agree with you somewhat about women putting careers first, then in their late 30s have issues conceiving & have to go down the IVF route. My daughter is still very young as she just turned 21 in April so has plenty time. However my sons girlfriend is 26 & I would like to see them start a family by the time they are 30. Whether that happens or not though, well we shall see. My parents didn’t think they could have children due to my mother having a blood disorder, she was 41 when I was born & my dad 55. So I know you can never take fertility for granted.
DeleteMy mother married young and never worked outside the home. Growing up I always knew I never wanted to be without the ability to support myself as an adult. Self-sufficiency is important and should be attained by adults regardless of gender. I would even argue it is irresponsible to being children into a family that only has a single source of financial support or ability to provide it. If a providing husband and father died, left, or became disabled the family would be left vulnerable. No grown woman should be entirely financially dependent on anyone, even her spouse.
Delete1:57- Well said!
Delete@1:57 The older you get, the truer your last sentence is. Life has no guarantees. You have to be able to support yourself plus lay a big pile of cash aside for old age. Don't believe me? Try retiring with no money but SS.
Delete@1:57 totally agree. From the time my daughter started school I worked. I lost my husband at a young age. He was one week short of his 46th b'day. So glad I had a decent job and benefits. It is irresponsible to have children and not prepare them to go out into the workforce male or female.
DeleteHappy Birthday! She's Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSo off topic, but what’s going on with John and Abbie?
ReplyDeleteIDK. They seemed to have flown off the radar screen.
DeleteGood for them if they've decided to roll under the radar.
DeleteYou are right! I didn’t think about it, but they haven’t been on in ages.
DeleteHappy 1st birthday sweet girl! Love the pic with grandma Mary. Still so sad she is not with them
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to wish Felicity a very happy 1st birthday today hope you had a special day today and may God bless you today and always keep you safe
ReplyDeleteChuck and Diana seem like wonderful grandparents. I wish we would see more of all the Duggar in-laws.
ReplyDeleteI think they're smart to stay out of the spotlight and TV cameras.
DeleteAnon 1:05. I agree. Being in the spotlight isn't for evryone

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Felicity!!! Such a great looking picture, everyone looks so happy.
ReplyDeleteGrandchild # 11?
ReplyDeleteI think she is #12. One of many. #13 was Ivy (Jessa's daughter). The one before her was Garrett (Kendra's son). He was #11.
DeleteWishing you a year of fun, happiness and blessings. God Bless.
ReplyDeleteHAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY FELICITY

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Felicity, full of joy, life & intelligence❗ One year old, already❗ Blessed wishes to all❗ π
ReplyDeleteHappy belated 1st birthday Felicity Nicole Vuolo, I hope you had a great day. I can't wait for you to have a little brother or sister when the time comes. My parents & I can't wait to see your Mom and Dad and you back on counting on this season. Natasha B
ReplyDeleteSo Natasha if Jinger and Jeremy only have Felicity will you ask about their plans for a sibling for the next 25 years?
DeleteBeautiful child! Seems like she is happy and loved!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday sweet girl! Love your family. ❤
ReplyDeleteAw- Happy Birthday!!! I wasn’t sure exactly who Felicity looked like; I didn’t quite see Jinger or Jeremy. Seeing her with her Grandma Vuolo, she is a cookie cutter of Jeremy’s mom. How adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy 1st Birthday, Felicity❗❗ Looking like her Grandmother Vuolo here❗ππ£π
ReplyDeleteEllie, You do such a good job of selecting pictures whenever someone has a birthday. That must be time consuming. Thank you for doing this for all us readers.
ReplyDeleteHappy 1st Birthday felicity! you are such a cutie! love following your family!
ReplyDeleteI have to say that I too think Felicity is adorable- she seems to have a sunny personality. But I'm always somewhat amused reading the birthday comments here as the overwhelming majority always pronounce the Duggar baby/toddler as so beautiful, pretty, etc. (much like the comments made regarding the Duggar girls or the Duggar wives). I think it's pretty telling and quite sad that so many posters place an obvious value on the person's appearance=how photogenic the Duggar/Duggar wife or girlfriend/Duggar baby is. From one Christian to those of you who profess to be Christians here, I have to wonder how God feels about your value system. I'm a little concerned about a not-s-photogenic child is going to be received and a little worried that the Duggars seem to only choose photogenic spouses. Hasn't anybody noticed this yet?
