Dillards Living in Little Rock

Jill and Derick Dillard and the boys have been temporarily living in Little Rock for about a month. Derick is on summer break after his first year of law school and is working in the Arkansas capital city until classes resume next month.

Yesterday afternoon, Jill had tea at the Governor's Mansion in celebration of the 100-year anniversary of Arkansas' ratification of the 19th Amendment, which gave women in the United States the right to vote. The event, hosted by Governor Asa Hutchinson and Arkansas First Lady Susan Hutchinson, was open to the public and cost $10, although the 200 available tickets sold out ahead of time.

Hiking with the Caldwells

We have seen Joe and Kendra Duggar join the Caldwells for outdoor activities in the past. The group recently went hiking at Devil's Den State Park in Akransas. Kendra's other siblings and grandmother were also along for the fun but are not pictured here. Have you ever been to Devil's Den?

Burnett Family Peach Ice Cream

For those who have been asking for a new photo of John and Abbie Duggar, we have one to share, and there is an interesting story that goes with it.

On Saturday, July 20th, the couple spent time in Abbie's hometown of Stratford, Oklahoma, for the Stratford Peach Festival, an annual event that has been part of the town's DNA for more than 40 years. Among other things, visitors enjoyed live music, a car show, vendor booths, and plenty of fresh peaches and peach desserts. Stratford is home to multiple peach orchards and calls itself the "peach capital of the world."

John and Abbie weren't just visitors to the festival. They were there to help Abbie's family sell its popular peach ice cream. The Burnetts' peach ice cream is a crowd favorite. This year, they made and sold more than 100 gallons!

Felicity at the Aquarium

Yesterday was Felicity's milestone 1st birthday. Jinger and Jeremy, along with Jeremy's parents, took the little darling to the Aquarium of the Pacific to celebrate.

Happy 1st birthday to Felicity! Jinger, Jeremy, and Felicity are now living in Los Angeles, as of a few weeks ago, but Jeremy's parents traveled all the way from their home in the East Coast to celebrate their granddaughter's birthday.

Duggar Dad Turns 54

Another year, another Duggar graduation! Just yesterday, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar threw a graduation party for Jason and James at their home. A bunch of family and friends came together to celebrate these two guys and their completion of high school. Jason is the 12th Duggar child and turned 19 in April, while James is No. 13 and just had his 18th birthday this month.

Since starting this blog almost 10 years ago, we have written about a handful of Duggar graduations (Jessa, Jinger, Joseph, Josiah, Joy-Anna, Jedidiah, and Jeremiah).

Tour the Dillards' House

 

The Dillards have been in their new house for almost three months. Moving and unpacking is a huge ordeal, especially with young kids, and Jill and Derick admit that they still have work to do to finish organizing. In the meantime, however, they have been gracious enough to film a short video tour for fans. Click here to watch the video on their YouTube account.

Their house has four bedrooms and two bathrooms. One of the bedrooms is a master, one is the boys' room, one is Derick's office, and the fourth is a guest room/storage room.

Annabell's Delivery

Two days ago, we shared the devastating news about Joy-Anna and Austin’s baby, Annabell Elise. The technician didn’t find a heartbeat at the couple’s 20-week ultrasound, and it was determined that Annabell had passed away. Joy delivered her tiny daughter, and she and Austin were able to spend precious moments holding her in the hospital.

Vuolos at a Soccer Game

LA Galaxy vs. Toronto FC

Since arriving in Los Angeles just a couple weeks ago, the Vuolos have been taking advantage of all that the area has to offer. Last night, Jeremy, a former professional soccer player, and Jinger took Felicity to her first Major League Soccer game. The Los Angeles Galaxy beat the Toronto Football Club (Toronto FC) 2-0 at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California, a city located inside Los Angeles County.

The Forsyths' Loss

Just days ago, the Duggars announced that Anna Duggar, Kendra Duggar, and Lauren Duggar are all expecting baby girls in November. This evening, they have shared a devastating piece of news. Joy and Austin Forsyth lost their baby, who was also due in November.

The expectant parents went in for their 20-week ultrasound and gender reveal one week ago and were told that their baby had passed away. It was a girl, and they named her Annabell Elise. Please join us in prayer for Joy and Austin for both physical and emotional healing.
