Over the years, the Duggar ladies have enjoyed experimenting with different hairstyles, but this might just be the first time any of them have made a "big" change. To celebrate the start of summer, Jinger decided to turn her brunette locks blonde with a balayage treatment. (For those who aren't familiar with balayge, it's a coloring technique in which the stylist uses a more "freehand" application technique.) Below are before and after snapshots.

Very Beautiful..
ReplyDeleteI hope she has fun with it - and then goes back to darker hair! I don't think it goes with her skin tone at all.
ReplyDeleteMe either ! Maybe if it was like a black mix with red and then the streaks she had when she first had her baby was gorgeous on her but not all blonde
DeleteI don't care for it either but in the end, it's her head
DeleteI agree!
DeleteI think it looks cute. But I am a bit bias as I am very tan from my Italian and African heritage but I have red hair from my mom.
DeleteOh please no, that is not “jinger” ! She looks so much better with her brunette hair. To me it doesn’t seem right to have the eyebrows starkly different than the hair. She needs to dye her eyebrows then too, lol.
ReplyDeleteI agree with all.
DeleteThat’s what I thought the color is gorgeous I’m loving the layers but not on her .maybe on joy or even Jill maybe on Abbie but not jinger ❤️
DeleteI am a natural blonde and my hair is very light. However I have dark eyebrows. Blondes don’t always have light brows. 🤷♀️
DeleteI agree. Her eyebrows are a bit dark. At her age I experimented a lot; so have fun w/it...it’s only hair.
DeleteWhy can’t we be happy with how God made us?
ReplyDeleteShe never said she wasn’t happy with how God made her. Good Grief. I love the blonde. Perfect for LA. Maybe Jeremy prefers a Marilyn over a Jackie.
DeleteThen people shouldn't cut or style their hair, pierce their ears, and wear make up. High heels are out since they change height. Everyday people alter the way they look. Should we criticize them for changing what God made?
DeleteShe is a young woman. Let her have some fun.
DeleteHair treatments aren't new to the Duggars. The older girls permed their hair during their teen years and have experimented with color. Joy, Jinger, and Jessa have had highlights while Jana has highlighted and dyed her hair darker throughout the years. It doesn't mean they aren't happy with themselves.
DeleteDo you ever wear make up or shave your legs or cut your hair? Pluck your eyebrows? Paint your nails or pierce your ears?
DeleteDo you wear make up? Do you curl straight hair or straighten curly hair? Do you pluck your eyebrows? If you say yes to any of those you are changing what god gave you. Fully enjoy what god gave you with makeup, hair styles, hair color and clothing.
DeleteWhy assume she’s not happy? Did you ever have braces? Wear lipstick or mascara? Do you know Esther had a whole year of beauty treatment just to meet the King? Most of us do enhancements.
DeleteGod made me stinky and hairy. So for the benefit of my husband and the public I shower and shave my legs everyday.
DeleteHmmmm... if you’re happy with everything about yourself, great. Personally, I don’t care what others do.
Delete@3:11 Braces have to do with correcting the bite, and have less to do with appearance. Esther? Really?
DeleteNot everyone does enhancements so NO, most of us do not. I do not wear any make-up, do not color my hair... no enhancements. Most women I know, with intellectually-challenging lives do not. They do not have the time nor interest. Their only "enhancements" is a healthy fit body.
Make-up was created to hide the damage from diseases, such as small pox. Perfume was to mask the smell of unwashed bodies. So, please, do not use biblical stories.
I do not care of Jinger wears make-up or colors her hair. It is her hair and her body. There are many other more important issues in the world to worry about.
She's young let her enjoy herself. Adding on to what the other people said do you shave your legs and underarms? Do you have pierced ears? Jinger's young let her have fun. She's finally getting to experiment with what other females get to do as teenagers. I'm happy for her.
DeleteGod made us creative. It’s fun for some to play with hair, makeup, and clothes. The Lord looks at the heart and wants us to understand that our beauty comes from Him. He is beautiful and we are made in His image. As long as we know this truth then the outside can be a creative canvas!
Delete@8:56 God made us creative? It's fun to play with hair, makeup, and clothes? Then why is there so much scorn in this world for non-conformists, transgenders, cross-dressers, etc.? At what point does that "fun" become an object of scorn? Why isn't it all seen as part of God-given creativity, as you call it, and freedom of expression of true self?
Delete9:10. I am an intellectually minded, college educated, married to an astrophysicist woman of God. And,I love enhancements. As far as Esther goes, and every other woman in the Bible we can glean from their actions. Taking a year of beauty treatments to be presented to the King is an important lesson. We should take time to look nice for our King, our Husbands. Of course how that looks is individual to each woman, but it has nothing to do with intellect.
DeleteThis is 3:11 responding to 9:10. I wore braces for my appearance. I wear make-up for my appearance.I color my hair for my appearance. I do plastic surgery for my appearance. I run 50 miles a week for my appearance. Why? Because my husband of nearly 30 years appreciates it. He compliments me all the time about how well I take care of my appearance. However, none of this has anything to do with my intelligence. I’m quite intelligent. In fact intelligent enough to know God created men to be visual and an intelligent wife will understand this.
Delete@8:03- I hope your husband is as dilligent about looking good for you as you are for him! Your statement makes it sound as though women aren't visual and it's all on them to look good for their men. I'm a woman and a wife. I'm just as visual as any guy is!
DeleteYes 11:46. He’s as attentive to staying fit for me as I am for him. That doesn’t mean we don’t enjoy coffee and donuts on occasion! And, our ideas on fitness, aging, attractiveness is just that ours. Everyone defines what works for them. I was just responding to 9:10 that intellect and attractiveness are not compatible.
Delete2:40, because gender is just as God-given as creativity.
DeleteWe live in a world of sin, that's why
DeleteAside aside from ditching their perms (which I’m sure was their parents’ idea), I don’t think the Duggar girls have experimented with their hair at all. None of them had colored their hair until now, and none of them have cut it shoulder length like the Bates girls have. So I think that first statement is a bit off
ReplyDeleteWhy would their parents stop them from perming their hair? In the book Michelle talks about it. Jana and Jessa and Jill all curled their hair too. Michelle use to perm her hair. I am not sure if she does now.
DeleteThe older Duggar girls have experimented with color for several years. Jinger has highlighted hair in the above photo with Michelle. Jana's hair fluctuates the most frequently between dirty blond/light brown with highlights to a rich brunette. Jessa and Joy have also highlighted their hair.
DeleteI have worked in a hair salon all my life and I have to say that is nice coloring. I am really shocked that Jinger would choose this color but it does bring out her tan. Brunettes going blonde is a brave choice. I seen lots of women decide at the very last minute that they don't want to do it.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a well-measured post. I agree I was shocked with the color change though it does make her skin tone "pop". She has a beautiful face.
DeleteAnywho, I really wanted to comment because I love the term "brave choice" and appreciated your comment.
I agree the stylist did a great job....it actually has a natural look. It will take lots of upkeep, I hope she is happy with it that’s all that really matters.
DeleteShe should have seen a different stylist..
DeleteJinger is just beautiful!!! she is so sweet and kind... out of all the girls she is definitely the nicest!!! I just love Jinger and Jeremy and beautiful little Felicity... they could and should have their own show...but God has called them into the ministry... will miss his sermons when they move to Ca. I wish them the best.
ReplyDeleteShe and Jana seem more down to earth than the others
DeleteI know I'll be eaten alive for my comment, but I'm not a fan. I think her dark hair is elegant and classy and just suits her skin colour and eye tone better.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, and if anyone eats us alive lets find a way back out haha!
DeleteI have to agree with you. I’ve always loved her darker hair, blond just doesn’t suit her.
DeleteI agree. Blonde does not suit her at all. It looks awkward...
DeleteI absolutely agree 100%
DeleteYes the blonde does not look good on her I say by winter she will change it back. But she might have changed it so she would not be recongized in her new home.
DeleteI completely agree! Love blonde hair and this color is beautiful. Her stylist did an excellent job. I'm just not a fan of this color on Jinger. I think it's going to be too much upkeep and she'll end up going dark again. With her long hair, all those color processes will not grow out and be cut off anytime soon.
DeleteLove Jinger to pieces, but liked her natural color better. She is gorgeous no matter what, just don't like blonde on her.
ReplyDeleteI agree.
DeleteAgree!
DeleteWell, she is beautiful either way:) and she will fit in well in CA with blond hair. God bless her! She loves the Lord and she is a wonderful wife and Mom, may she enjoy being a student wife at TMS! She looks cute!
ReplyDeleteCalifornia is not as blonde as it used to be lol. My in laws lived in the area and it's mostly Hispanic
DeleteI’m all for dying your hair if you want to, but personally I think dark hair suits Jinger better. All that really matters though is that see likes it💗
ReplyDeleteFun for summer, but I do love Jinger's brown hair color. It's such a rich, shiny, healthy looking brown, which really makes her eye coloring pop!!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree
DeleteLove it love it love it, California here she comes. The length is perfection. I think its cool to change with the seasons too, maybe red for Autum, how fun to change thing up a bit👌😉
ReplyDeleteGinger you always look beautiful...but I love your new hair color
ReplyDeleteBlonde definitely suits you awesomely.
Why not just take a natural picture Jinger? Why must everything be staged for a “look at me” picture? What happened to countenance?
ReplyDeleteWhat's the matter? Are you jealous? She looks great!
DeleteAll pictures are staged unless the subject doesn't know their picture is being taken. Taking and posting a photograph is by its very nature a "look at me" action.
DeleteLife and freedom happened. :)
DeleteUm, isn't all pictures staged kinda? We all pose and want to make sure we look good in a picture lol.
DeleteI'm sure Jimbob had a stroke lol! She looks good, but don't think she has the right skintone for such a light blonde, love she tried something different though.
ReplyDeleteWho cares what JB thinks about it? She's not under his control any longer. Obviously Jeremy is OK with it. I think she'd look better with a somewhat darker blonde shade but that's up to her.
DeleteJB will have to get over it. Once he marries his daughters off, they don't have to pay any attention to his "rules".
DeleteI think Michelle is eating some crow too. You know, because Jinger is wearing skinny jeans as a platinum blonde moving to LA. We are far away from Walmart not!
DeleteNaw he would have a stroke if she cut it off all and then had it blonde 😂
DeleteI do wonder what Jim Bob and Michelle really think about these dramatic changes in their kids. I know what I would be thinking of I was them. Lol
Delete3:06. I’m sure you meant “now”, but totally agree!
DeleteSo maybe Jim Bob & Michelle's ways weren't the best for their kids? Hmmmm.
DeleteI think she looks great as a blond. It's only hair. I would like to see her with a different hairstyle. Maybe a shorter layered look. Hope she gets a regular bathing suit to wear while in California. Enjoy Jinger you're only young once.
DeleteAnon 3:06 I don't think Michelle is eating crow. There are pictures of her with Jill and Jill's in skinny jeans. She flies down to Texas to see Jinger so I don't think she is bothered by the way they dress. I think the family has changed a lot and aren't real conservative anymore.
DeleteJill could have pulled off the blonde look better, or Jessa
DeleteShe looks ridiculous as a blonde. Her natural skin tone, eye color, and brow color absolutely do not go with that hair color. Did she think about what it's going to take to ever let that grow out or go back to brunette?
ReplyDeleteI think she looks great!!! As a person that colors her hair if she wants to go back to her natural color she'll just get it colored again. It's just dyed not bleach. Looks like she's finally getting freedom let her have fun.
DeleteI don't like it either. Did she think God made a mistake making her a brunette?
DeleteNo need to be mean 2:12. Jinger is a beautiful blonde. And, all it takes it a color change to go back is she wants.
DeleteAnonymous @ 9:41 Bleach is even worse than color for hair! At this point, a lot of her hair has 3 color processes on it: highlights from last summer, brown color over the highlights and now this blonde.
DeleteMy hair is nowhere near the length of Jinger's and I know how much it takes to grow color out. Average hair growth is 1/2 inch per month. Even if her hair grows twice as fast, that's only a foot of new hair since her highlights last year.
It's her hair. She's having fun. It's not sinfun.
Delete@10:08 let her have fun it has nothing to do with God and his making a mistake. It has to do with being young we all go thru something like that at her age. Are your ears pierced? Do you wear makeup? It's all just part of being young. Hair does grow back.
DeleteI agree... a stylist would have told her that before she did it herself.
DeleteI think Jinger looks great with the blond hair.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love Jinger’s blond look, it’s so summery & fresh & will be very lovely in the hot sun in California. Good for her having the guts to make such a drastic change, not everyone would suit so big a change but Jinger just looks amazing. Love it.
ReplyDeleteI see a LOT of upkeep on this blonde hair for Jinger. "Roots" are so tacky. lol
DeleteWhat will "hot sun" and pool chlorine or salt water do to that dye?
DeleteAnon 9.43. I think anyone that has very dark hair & goes blond has to commit to root touch ups every 6 weeks, otherwise your right it looks very tacky with roots showing. If Jinger can’t be bothered with the upkeep I’m sure she will go back to her natural colour. I noticed a previous commenter saying as her eyebrows are so dark she should dye them too, I really hope she doesn’t, a friend of mine years ago with similar colouring to Jinger, dyed both her hair & eyebrows & the brows just looked ridiculous.
DeleteI agree with you roots are tacky. But, some people have the blond at the bottom then the roots. They have it done that way. But, it's just hair. Would love to see her get a new hair style tho. Long is always in style and it looks great on her, but maybe something with layers.
DeleteI don't see it...
DeleteIm partial to her dark locks but this is nice too.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE it. You look amazing 😊
ReplyDeleteJinger looks much better as a brunette! Jane
ReplyDeleteI agree Jane
DeleteI like it! Jinger looks great!
ReplyDeleteIt's none of our business what a person decides to do with their hair, but it's important, if you want to look optimal to get a color analysis done to make sure the new color matches the undertones of the skin. Fortunately, an adjustment is easily made if the color is off. I think many people who go blond could use this helpful information. It just needs to be the right tone. If Jinger is seeking feedback on her new style, since she is in the public eye a lot, a color analysis might be something she might enjoy seeking out. I don't do color analysis, so not self-promoting here. It's just a fascinating science ,to me and helps women to not feel like they have to change their hair color often to get the right color for the skin tone.
ReplyDeleteAgree. I'm in a class that does color analysis for clothes and hair. Makes a huge difference if the color is correct for skin tone.
DeleteAs much as I want to be supportive of other women, I think this look doesn't work for her at all. It's too light and does not look natural at all. She has a very dark skin tone and people with dark skin tones don't look good with blond hair. She could have gone for a lighter change. :)
ReplyDeleteI like it better brunette. She is pretty no matter tho. Moving to LA will be shock to her....maybe she can wear a real bathing suit when going swimming.
ReplyDeleteI hope she rocks a bikini on a surf board with her blonde tresses! Yay Jinger!
Delete2:59 - I have competed in surf tournaments and I can tell you that anyone who surfs in a bikini is purposely looking for a wipe out just to show their stuff and try to get guys attention. And that type of attention is wrong and will only land you trouble. They only want you body.
Delete12:07. It was in jest. Just happy for Jinger. That’s all.
DeleteGorgeous ❤️
ReplyDeleteWow. I hear blondes "have more fun". Way to go Jinger.
ReplyDeleteI am not the biggest fan of it but I am sure I will get used to it!
ReplyDeleteHi it me again, responding to my own comment. I am also blonde but natural blonde. And It was her choice and we should respect that. But it is ok if you do not agree with it.
DeleteOh my. Now she looks like a "Valley Girl". lol
ReplyDeleteAnd you sound like you are jealous.
DeleteI live in the Valley they’ll be near or living in. Believe me, the stereotypical Valley girl is disappearing as the area has transformed in the last 20-30 years by people of all colors. Blondes are a minority😆
DeleteThat's true! Very valley girl lol
DeleteIt's her hair and her business, but a darker blonde would have been a better option
ReplyDeleteI agree. It's very stark and I think a honey blonde with lighter streaks would be much better.
DeleteWhoa. I have a feeling there will be a lot of comments! She’s getting ready for L. A.!
ReplyDeleteI honestly am not a huge fan of the blonde, but it's her hair, so if she's happy with it that's all that matters!
ReplyDeleteI like jinger as a brunette.
ReplyDeleteJinger is a knock out as a blonde!
DeleteMe too
DeleteBetter with dark hair
DeleteI love that Jinger tried something new and different! Isn't that what being young is all about?
ReplyDeleteI’m not young anymore, but still try new and different hair color/highlights. Spice in life shouldn’t end at a certain age.
DeleteShe could do something besides going blonde...lol
DeleteWow! I don't like it at all, but I hope she enjoys it. I wonder if Felicity was confused at first.
ReplyDeleteI love it, it's just a big difference so it takes a little time to get use to it.
ReplyDeleteIn my opionion I think Jinger looks better as a brunette. Maybe add some copper or carmel highlights, but this tone and shade do not complement her skin and features. It's not up to me though. Just my thoughts. I think she would look great with a shorter length and some style too. I bet Jim Bob and Michelle are flabber gasted! Lol!
ReplyDeleteEach to their own, but she DEFINITELY looks better as a brunette!!!! All of us were created the way God intended us to look. I like to think He wants to look upon His children the way He made us, not change His handiwork! But that's just my opinion. Each to their own! Live and let live!!
ReplyDeleteNow that's what I call making a statement. I love it.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone really care what Jinger does to her hair? Whatever.
ReplyDeleteI love that Jinger has great spirit!
ReplyDeleteWell, she's young and that's fun but really not the right shade for her. Kind of washes her complexion out. Ree Drummond's daughters have gone blonde and it's the wrong shade for them too. It is fun to experiment though.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I like Jinger, the blonde looks awful. But it's her hair and maybe she wants to be a "California girl" so go for it.
ReplyDeleteCalifornia is a a cesspool. They better not go into L.A
DeleteOr San Fran... so much garbage piled up and rats everywhere. Sadly, typhus virus has come back because of it. I wouldn't touch California with a 10 ft pole..
Unfortunately, the blonde barbie that used to be what stood for California is gone now.. especially with the hordes of migrants coming living there
Delete11:02 - Mexicans have always lived in California. The founders of Los Angeles included people of Mexican descent. The "hordes of migrants" were people of European descent who moved west during the Great Depression and largely after WWII.
Delete11:01 - Typhus also occurs in rural areas. I am glad you won't come to California though, the state doesn't need ignorant people.
Like it! 👍 💖
ReplyDeleteLooks nice. I think darker hair suits her best, but the blonde looks good too. :)
ReplyDeleteWell it looks like someone really decided to show her parents that she was a grown-up adult and would follow her own route from now on... I bet living in L.A. spurred the impulse to become blonde, but seeing how dark her natural hair is, I guess she'll get annoyed by the roots when her hair starts to grow back... I just hope she stops dying her hair when/if she ever gets pregnant again !
ReplyDeleteIt's only hair color...she didn't win the Nobel Prize! The only thing she's showing her parents is hair.
DeleteJinger didn’t show her parents anything, Michelle has colored her hair for years or she would have gray like the rest of use.
DeleteColoring your hair is fine when you're pregnant. Working in a salon, many women get color procedures done while they're pregnant.
Delete12:05 - It's not fine if you're pregnant. It's to much chemicals for the baby. People do have it done anyway, but it's not good. That's why you have to watch what kind of acne creams and washes you use or lotions with certain ingredients. That stuff can absorb in to your skin and get to the baby.
DeleteWhen I was pregnant, now this was over 35 years ago, my dr told me not to color my hair. So I quit for the time. Why even risk possibly harming the baby.
DeleteI dont like it.at all. She us too dark.for light hair
ReplyDeleteBlonde or brunette, Jinger looks great! However I wonder why this change to want to conform to society’s standards? In her book with her sisters they addressed their modesty standards and she and a few sisters has gone completely against it now. The sisters claim thier modesty standards were thier own choice and not thier parents and stated multiple times that they were not worldly. ( they were in the world, not of the world) They chose modesty and to dress as a way to draw to thier countenance and not physical attributes. So now, why the tight jeans and tops, nose piercings, shorts and skin tight “maternity” tops( when expecting?) Granted none of these things are horrible and if styles and opinion change that’s fine. But there’s no mention of Why her standards have changed - so when you state you are doing things a certain way yet doing another that, is being a complete and total hypocrite.
ReplyDeleteThat book was written in another time and place in their lives. The girls have matured and changed as people do in life. I don't think we should keep throwing that up to them. Let's leave the book in the past where it belongs and see them as adults who have made difference choices.
DeleteOh I wish people would stop the “they said they were modest, now they’re not” or “they wrote a book”. The Duggar girls were teenagers still living with their ultra conservative parents when the book was written, they are now adults and married. When you get married your spouse may have somewhat different standards so the two of you find your own. It’s not like any of the Duggar girls have fallen off the deep end, blonde hair is far from sinful. They don’t need to make a formal statement explaining, it’s common sense. They may have made some changes, but their belief in and love for Christ remains the same.
DeleteI've thought that too over the years and love the changes they have done as a way of expressing themselves as they got older but would love if they did a like of question and answer session and if someone asked why they chose to do that like wear jeans, dye hair, no piercings etc. It would be nice to hear their opinions now as young women, compared to years ago when they wrote their book and see the contrast in answers, would be great to see.
DeleteBut however they look great whatever they do and love seeing them evolve over the years.
Before the book was written Michelle was still dying her hair and the girls did perms and wearing pants (Joy-Anna especially). You can be modest with skinny jeans and piercings.
DeleteThe Duggar sisters released an updated edition of the book after Jill and Jessa were married to include a section on courtships. Jill and Jessa endorsed the book in their new stage of life as married women.
DeleteThe girls are married now and their husbands probably told them God doesn't care about what they wear or the color of their hair.
DeleteIt's Jinger's hair, and as long as she and Jeremy like it, it's none of my business. I am a little curious what prompted this kind of drastic change though. Brunette to Ashy blonde is a pretty big swing. I'm wondering who she's admiring/looking up to/wishing she looked like that has blonde hair. Maybe she's tired of looking like all of her sisters. Maybe she's tired of being part of matching set. Honestly, I would have expected her to express herself with a new haircut, as opposed to a completely different color. It does seem a little odd that it's sort of taboo among the girls in the family not to cut your hair, but it's ok to dye it on the other end of the spectrum-it seems like that would be kind of attention seeking. Jinger's brunette hair better suited her coloring-I have to wonder at all the people who believe they're "supporting" her by raving about how beautiful she looks as a blonde. I get wanting to support someone, not wanting to hurt anyone's feeling's, practicing kindness, and all the "being positive/positivity" stuff, but "An honest answer is better than a kiss...". This blonde shade is just "off" for her coloring and looks weirdly unnatural for such a beautiful young lady.
DeleteMy goodness, it called growing, evolving, changing, ect.Especially when you leave home and marry, then your new family unit has their own set of standards that most likely aren't exactly like their parents. Are you the same person when you lived with your parents...I think not.Why is this so hard for some fans to comprehend, I will never know🤔🤨
DeleteMy goodness, it called growing, evolving, changing, ect.Especially when you leave home and marry, then your new family unit has their own set of standards that most likely aren't exactly like their parents. Are you the same person when you lived with your parents...I think not.Why is this so hard for some fans to comprehend, I will never know🤔🤨
DeleteExactly @12:14AM
DeleteI LOVE IT EITHER WAY, YOU GO JINGER DO WHAT YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND WANT!!!
ReplyDeleteHer dark hair is so beautiful. Very few brunettes look good as blondes, in my opinion. I understand wanting some variety, but I don't think the blonde on her looks good.
ReplyDeleteI agree
DeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt's awesome to see Jinger experiment with her hair....after all, hair does grow back.
I absolutely love Jinger’s blonde hair. She looks stunning. How perfect for California. How did Jeremy like it?
ReplyDeleteIt's her body! Why should her husband's opinion matter?
DeleteThey are one flesh, so they belong to each other. That's why. Her husband's opinion should always matter to her, because they're married. I would think it was awful if my husband told me, "why should your opinion matter?".
Delete@11:48- I've been married for thirty years and I've never thought that my husband and I "belonged" to each other. We are each individuals with ideas and opinions that may or may not agree. We try to compromise as much as possible, but neither one of us tells the other what they should do.
Delete11:53, I have been married for 17 years and neither of us tells the other what they should do either. But we still belong to each other, and we take each other's opinions into consideration. Our opinions matter to each other. That is not the same thing as telling the other person what to do. I'm sorry you don't see the difference.
DeleteMy husband passed away, but never did I think that we "belonged" to each other. He had his opinions and I had mine. We ran ideas and opinions by each other, but at the end of the day he did what he wanted and I did what I wanted. Unless it involved over a certain amount of money.
DeleteNice thing about hair is it grows out
DeleteI think that Jinger looks younger and "fresher" with her natural shiny hair. The blonde will require a lot of attention and upkeep to continue to look allright. But if Jeremy likes it, that's all that really matters.
ReplyDeleteI think that if Jinger likes it, thats what matters. Its Jingers hair....
DeleteNo, all that matters is that Jinger likes it, since it is HER hair, not jeremy’s.
Delete7:25- I am pretty sure that Jinger liked the idea of turning blonde, that's why she did it. So Jeremy is next in line. Stop knitpicking, you people.
DeleteShe looks better with dark hair
DeleteLove her new look and trimmed locks! She is ready for California and a new life as a young mom and pastor's wife!
ReplyDeleteI am surprised she chose a color so bold compared to her natural tone. I agree with others she should’ve at least lightened her eyebrows a little. I can’t imagine how much upkeep and money it will be to maintain this color. I hope this was Jinger’s decision, not Jeremy’s.
ReplyDeleteThe more I look at her new hair color, the more it's growing on me. At first earlier today, I didn't like it, but now perhaps I'm over the shock, and it actually looks pretty good.
ReplyDeleteI love it.
ReplyDeleteGood grief. She colored her hair, like about a gazillion other people do. The way some are carrying on, it’s like she went with hot pink and purple stripes or something.
ReplyDeleteSorry, it looks unnatural & is not a good skin-tone match. Bronze highlights with a lighter shade of brunette (from her true color) would be the way to go. Beautiful Godly woman, inside & out. Proverbs 31 💖
ReplyDeleteI agree..but no such thing as Godly woman. Woman of God is the correct way to say it
DeleteGodly women shouldn't change their hair color? That's pretty judgmental IMO. Besides that look and Michelle who's been dying her hair for YEARS. Should we sit in judgment on her??
DeleteIt's nice to see Jinger spreading her wings and trying new things.
ReplyDeleteShe looks great both inside and out. It is not our business to judge what this beautiful family does. I loved their program and wish them the best in all they do.
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful ❤❤
ReplyDeleteWOW!. Surprising!
ReplyDeleteJoan,Marion and Marilyn
Anyone remember on All In The Family when Gloria wore the blonde wig and Mike loved it? Maybe this is a similar situation.
ReplyDeleteHey hey hey!
DeleteGloria was naturally blonde. It was a dark colored wig.
DeleteLove it!! You go girl!! Tania
ReplyDeleteThe color turned out really pretty, but she should change her foundation color to compliment the blonde. Kudos to her for trying something new!
ReplyDeleteLove her hair but prefer her dark hair way hetter
ReplyDeleteShe looks great, and it looks like the colorist did a skillfull job. I hope she has fun experimenting, and that she ignores negative comments.
ReplyDeleteShe is a beautiful young woman but this platinum of a color is too harsh for her skin tone. Warm blonde highlights in her natural hair color would have been better IMHO. This blonde color looks too Barbie doll and fake. It will blend right in to Southern California.it looks odd with her dark eyebrows too.i do like the cut, style, and length, just not the color on her.
ReplyDeleteI agree
DeleteBeautiful
ReplyDeleteOh no Jinger! That color does not look good on you. You look prettier as a brunette.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE Jinger's hair!! Blonde looks great on her.
ReplyDeleteThe trouble with drastically changing your hair color is maintenance. Subtle highlights or lowlights grow out without much trouble. Going from dark brown to light blonde is not going to hold out well in the coming weeks and months. I hope Jinger and her stylist (Jeremy) like the stark roots look.
ReplyDeleteMichelle has been coloring her hair to cover the gray for years. Is that sinful? Why would going blonde be sinful?
ReplyDeleteI have no idea why coloring your hair is "wrong". People have done it for many years.
DeleteShe has very dark natural hair color...blonde doesn't look good at all!
ReplyDeleteVery expensive hair treatment.
