It feels like Duggar pregnancy announcements have become a regular occurrence on our blog. In February, we shared the heartbreaking news of Josiah and Lauren Duggar's miscarriage, which happened last October. Today, we are overjoyed to pass along some happier news. The couple is expecting again! They are due with their little rainbow baby this fall, right on track with Josh and Anna Duggar, Joseph and Kendra Duggar, and Joy and Austin Forsyth.
Congratulations on your little miracle from the Lord, Josiah and Lauren! Visit Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's website to watch a short video clip from the excited parents.

Congratulations to Lauren and Josiah!
ReplyDeleteGod bless them, praying for an uneventful, safe pregnancy.
ReplyDeleteyes agree
DeleteYes,totally agree! Congratulations!
DeleteOMG... Congratulations! That is so amazing that Lauren and Josiah are finally pregnant after the miscarriage and can enjoy full pregnancy and a healthy baby! This is the 5th Duggar grandbaby this year! And 4 of them are coming this Fall!
ReplyDeleteFinally pregnant? It’s not been very long. You make it sound like it’s been years of trying. They haven’t even been married a year.
DeleteAgree 4:30pm. A loss is a loss and VERY difficult, especially with the pressure to marry and procreate as soon as possible.
DeleteAm happy for them, truly, but many have tried for years without success and adoption or fertility treatments might be while a viable choices for some, it could be too costly for others.
My husband and I are well into our 30s and married over 10 years and sadly, have had no pregnancy to report aside from 4 miscarriages.
Anonymous @ 1:20- I'm praying for you and your husband. I had a close friend from high school in the same position and have experienced a loss myself.
DeleteAnon 1.20. I am so sorry to hear of your sad losses. Your right a loss is a loss & always difficult no matter how long a couple have been married. I cannot imagine how sad it must be to suffer 4 of those losses. However I would say as a miracle baby myself (it’s what my mother always called me), it can happen when you least expect it. My parents were married 18 years before I was born, my mother suffered 8 losses due to an incompatibility of her blood group with the foetuses. Then she got pregnant with me at 41 & didn’t even know she was pregnant until she gave birth. I was 3.5lb & obviously premature but they couldn’t be sure how much (this was back in the late 60s). However after care & being in hospital several weeks my parents took me home on Christmas Eve. I lost my mother on my 12th birthday but I know I made her life complete & I have many wonderful memories of her to this day. I sincerely hope you get to have happy memories with a little one of your own one day, Please do not give up. I also have worked with woman who have had multiple miscarriages & go on to have healthy successful pregnancies in their 30s & 40s.
DeleteThat's very good news. I hope everything goes well for them.
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely news! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteSo that leaves Abbie, Jill and Jinger as the three married daughters or daughters in-law without children. If 2020 is to be as big as 2019 in terms of grandchildren, there will need to be more marriages.
ReplyDeleteI don’t think there will be many Duggar grandkids born in 2020, there could be some announcements, and if Jill, Jinger, or Abby get pregnant in the next ten months there could be some births, but definitely it as many as this year.
DeleteI wouldn't be a bit surprised if Abbie announces she's pregnant. There's GOT to be something in the water in Arkansas that makes all these pregnancies happen. lol
DeleteLast time I checked, Jill and Jinger had children
Delete2020 won't bring 5 new grandkids, there are only 8 Duggar kids married, and 5 are having babies this year... Max 3 more. Well, Jessa still might have a baby in 2020, with a very short difference in age. I'm hoping actually that there will be 2 more pregnancies now, to get to 19 grandbabies in 2019...
DeleteI don’t think 2020 is gonna have as many births since many of the girls are due at the end of this year, meaning that their next babies will most likely be born after 2020
DeleteJill and Jinger both have children.
DeleteJill and Jinger have kids.
DeleteJill and Jinger do have children. Do you mean the only ones not pregnant right now?
DeleteJill and Jinger have children, what do you mean? But I agree, they are never going to make 200 grandchildren (Jim Bob's goal) at this rate.
DeleteI case you missed it, Jill and Jinger have children. I don't think they'll have another baby this year though. Abbie will join the pregnancy parade soon enough.
DeleteI wonder if Jill will have more? I know she had pretty difficult deliveries
DeleteThis is such wonderful news, I have been praying for them🙏🏼Now that makes five Duggars pregnant now, right? Anna,Jessa,Lauren,Joy and Kendra.Hopefully soon to be Abby. It's all multiplying so fast, JB and Michelle must be thrilled.Looks like it will take no time at all for their little town to become Duggarville👍🤗😁
ReplyDeletePlus Cousin Amy!
DeleteI can already this one having a gaggle of kids.
ReplyDeleteI don't know that she will. I hope she has a successful pregnancy this time.
DeleteI think they do want a gaggle. Kind of sad isn't it? 20 years old married and pregnant a second time. She should be enjoying her youth and freedom. Not married having kids. Hope that she has a happy pregnancy.
Delete@4:02 I KNOW, right?! It is SO IRRITATING when some women actually WANT to get married and have children, especially when they are able to pinpoint that desire early in life. I mean, Lauren should be lost and wondering what her purpose is in life!!! She should be vacuously going out and about and experimenting in this and that! Or she should have a career! Or at least her own apartment!!! ANYTHING BUT MARRIAGE AND MOTHERHOOD. How ELSE on earth will she be well rounded and wise?!?! If I don’t know what I want to do at 20 years old, then neither should she!!!!!! Her happiness to answer her calling in life is really an inconvenience to me, and honestly, I feel ATTACKED!
Delete😂 6:36
Delete😂 love it @6:36!!
Delete6:36- Sounds like you think all 20 somethings are a bunch of empty-headed fools running around, unless they're married and having kids! I think your sarcastic response is an overreaction to a simple opinion.
DeletePoor 6:36 has daddy issues. Lauren's family is well rounded and stable. More so than most families that live of the world...
DeleteSee everyone, Lauren IS PREGNANT!!!!!! Lauren PLEASE take good care of yourself, I will be praying for U, and I love U 3!!!!!!!!!!! YAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!!!!!!!! 100%!!!
ReplyDeleteMaybe so but it’s still inappropriate for people to have speculated so vehemently before it was announced. When someone has suffered the loss of a baby it’s the last thing you should do, speculate on them being pregnant. However I have to say I am overjoyed for this lovely young couple (my favourite Duggar’s). Please Lauren take good care of yourself & have as many ultrasounds as you need to keep your mind at rest throughout this pregnancy. I hope you & Josiah have every bit of medical support offered to you & you have the happiest most uneventful of pregnancies culminating in the safe delivery of a healthy baby. You deserve this happiness so much. This has just made my day after having a pretty Stressful day at work myself. Just the news I needed to hear when Coming on this blog.
DeleteYes. We can take her off "pregnancy watch". That leaves Abbie. I think there'll be an announcement from Abbie in a month or so.
DeleteI was pretty sure from the last picture (her birthday) but didn't want to offend anyone.
DeleteJustine: I think everyone had a good idea Lauren was pregnant however you leave it up to them to announce, and especially after they lost their first pregnancy it was insensitive to claim she was pregnant until it was confirmed. A Duggar/Duggar in law being pregnant is hardly a shock as there are so many of them someone will always be pregnant, I am happy for Lauren though a miscarriage is always hard.
Delete@1:33 Leave it up to them to announce, as in get paid to put it in a magazine?
DeleteLeave it up to them to announce, as in any way they choose to do it, since it's their news.
DeleteNo, I mean, everyone is like saying, Lauren will never have a baby, I was making people see, that if we keep our comments positive, it will help, and keeping positive is the #1 way to get pregnant!!!!!! I love U 3!!!!!
DeleteKeeping positive is not the #1 way to get pregnant. I am the only surviving child born to my mother and I was conceived after much heartache and an adoption. No offense intended, but unless you've experienced a miscarriage and been in the trenches, please don't offer pat phrases of "positivity". It is far more helpful to simply offer a heart felt "I'm so sorry." or "I'm praying for you." (and then do it, regularly).
Deletejustine- Saying that keeping postive is the #1 way to get pregnant may be taken as an insult to someone who's experiencing infertility. It's implying that they have a negative attitude getting in their way. When there are physiological problems preventing or maintaining a pregnancy, it's not so simple.
DeleteAnon 11.36. Obviously keeping positive is not the best way to get pregnant, however positivity is almost always a good thing. I too am the only child of a mother who had 8 losses before having me after 18 years of marriage & not even knowing she was pregnant. Neither her or my dad ever gave up hope. Miscarriage is extremely sad for a couple & yes we should express how sorry we are for their loss when it occurs, however it is good to try & be hopeful. Before I became a midwife I worked in paediatric oncology where many of the children I nursed were terminally ill, non of them ever gave up hope & neither did their parents & the positivity created by them was the most inspiring thing I’ve ever seen, & it helped them fight what is a devastating illness. Better that than to just give up, don’t you think ?
DeleteNow we are going to have to call the new season 17 GrandDuggars and counting, lol!!!!
ReplyDeleteWe need a courtship and marriage to break up the monotony. Get cracking Duggar boys.
DeleteNot a bad idea. I would watch 🤷♀️
DeleteBe fruitful & multiply; living the promise! ❤
DeleteAbbie could have twins. She has twin sisters. John is a twin.
DeleteIt is still not totally out of the question that they will reach 19 grandchildren in 2019. And there is still Jill and Jinger.
Anon 9:07. Yes. There's some sort of shortage of people on the planet.
DeleteThey were trying to take a photo with I think 10 grandbabies, it was wild! I can only imagine all 17 grandkids together.
Delete11:56, but aren’t her twin sisters identical? If they are then that does raise her chances genetically of having twins. John being a twin doesn’t raise their chances either.
DeleteAnon 11.56. Wow I had no idea Abbie is a twin. If Abbie is from a non identical twin pregnancy then yes there is an increase in the likelihood of her having twins (same as the Duggar girls because of michelle’s 2 twin pregnancies). However the fact John David is a twin doesn’t have any relevance on Abbie’s ability to have twins herself as it’s the production of 2 ovum being fertilised resulting in 2 zygotes that determines this & that is genetically passed from mother to daughter, it does not impact on a son. My friend is a non identical fraternal twin & she went in to have twin boys herself so I’m pretty sure one of the Duggar daughters may have twins in the future or indeed Abbie if she herself is a non identical twin. It would be very nice to see a set of multiples in the grandchildren.
Delete17th grandchild! Wow. Great that Lauren is pregnant after the miscarriage! I wonder if Abbie or Jill will be pregnant soon too. Abbie probably will, they are newlyweds. Jill might wait till Derick finishes his school. Jinger is moving to CA this summer, so probably won't have another baby right now too.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Josiah & Lauren on your exciting news!! This baby will have quite a few new cousins to get to know!
ReplyDeleteYes! What a blessing and a miracle! So happy for both of you Josiah and Lauren! Praise God!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Lauren and Josiah, glad to here the announcement. Prayers all goes well for you. I can't wait to see the gender reveal party and birth on counting on. Natasha B
ReplyDeleteCongratulations sweeties,I did notice a bump on her birthday group photo and she had her hand on her tummy, they must be elated, after the rain comes the sunshine, so happy for you.
ReplyDeleteThere will be no shortage of children for playdates, especially with Lauren and Kendra having baby siblings as well.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to you Josiah and lauren.i am so happy for you both. Praying for you and your family.
ReplyDeleteWhat is a rainbow baby? I've never heard that before.
ReplyDeleteA rainbow baby is one born after losing a child through miscarriage.
DeleteA baby conceived after loss.
DeleteThe birth of a baby after the loss of one due to miscarriage or stillbirth.
Delete@ anon 6:03, A rainbow baby is a baby that was born after a miscarriage, so happy for them!!
DeleteA Rainbow Baby, is a baby born subsequent to a miscarriage, stillbirth, or the death of an infant from natural causes.
DeleteCongratulations
ReplyDelete@Anonymous 3:43pm Jill has 2 boys and Jinger has a daughter. Abbie is the only married daughter without kids.
ReplyDeleteSo happy for them.
ReplyDeleteI hope everything goes well with her pregnancy this time.
ReplyDeleteIf she's due this fall, she must be at least 4 months pregnant. I don't blame them for delaying an announcement until now. All the best for her.
ReplyDeleteTruly happy for both of them. God bless.
ReplyDeleteGod is good!! He knows every plan for our lives. He new this baby needed a guardian angel. Wishing you both all the best.
ReplyDeleteI really hope the family Realeases a picture of all The soon to be moms before Jessa gives birth. This is the most Digger moms to be at the same time. Congratulations to all!
@7:30- I believe your first two statements contradict each other. If God is good and knows every plan for our lives, it doesn't follow that there are so many people now and throughout history who have suffered immeasurably. If there is a God, I think he or she is much more complicated than what you describe.
Delete@7:30, would you say that to someone infertile or struggling with fertility? That it's God's plan they be barren? I hope not.
DeleteSo you're saying God WANTED Lauren and Josiah to have this crushing blow shortly after they married. Why would he do that to this nice young couple? IMO making these sorts of claims about God just doesn't fit what happens in life.
DeleteGod is good, and He does have a plan for our lives. Read the Bible to see. He isn’t the one who brought sin and suffering and death into the world. The first people choosing to sin brought all of that into the world. God gives everyone a free will. You can choose Him or not. He doesn’t force anyone to obey Him. People choose to do evil. That isn’t God’s fault. He either gives everyone free will or no one has it. God loved everyone so much that he sent Jesus to pay for the sin of all of mankind. Jesus died, was buried and rose again. He will take anyone who asks Him to Heaven.
DeletePlaying the "God card" for everything that happens in life gets old. Christians aren't immune from life and have their share of disappointments and hardships. I've had a very difficult life and got tired of being told by Christians that God was "discipling, correcting and/or improving" me. I don't find that sort of thing at all supportive nor did I ever think it was "God's plan" for my life. Stuff just happens and we find ways to deal with it.
Delete8:37 If God is all powerful and the author of all things, he is, indeed responsible for the good and bad in the world by creating the possiblity for both. And how does it make any sense at all that he would punish all of humankind down through the centuries because of the "sins" of Adam and Eve? Not a single person was ever given an invitation to be born, let alone the choice to accept or decline.
DeleteComedian George Carlin's take on God and religion pretty much hits home for me:
“Religion has actually convinced people that there's an invisible man living in the sky who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever 'til the end of time! But He loves you. He loves you, and He needs money! He always needs money! He's all-powerful, all-perfect, all-knowing, and all-wise, somehow just can't handle money! Religion is just mind-control.”
@8:28- I wholeheartedly agree! I believe we're all at the mercy of time, chance, and our own choices. If God is reponsible for what's happening in our lives, he's got a lot of explaining to do.
DeleteOk.. people have you ever heard of sin??!! Yes God does have a plan and no, life is not perfect because of the fall of man. Just because you're a Christian doesn't mean life is all Roses and butterflies
DeleteWhat is a "rainbow baby"?
ReplyDeleteA rainbow baby is one that is conceived and born after a loss, like a miscarriage.
DeleteA baby conceived after loss. A rainbow after the storm, so to speak.
DeleteA baby after the loss of a baby due to miscarriage or stillbirth.
DeleteA rainbow baby is a baby born after you’ve suffered a previous loss. It comes from the idea that you can’t have a rainbow without the storm that comes before it, so the term “rainbow baby” means that the baby is the first after a miscarriage or stillbirth. Hope that helps!
DeleteSo happy to hear that Josiah and Lauren are expecting again! Praying for a easy pregnancy and a healthy baby. Jane
ReplyDeleteSo very happy to hear this good news! God bless this family!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Josiah and Lauren. Wishing you the best.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Lauren and Josiah! You'll are going to be great parents! I can't wait till your little one arrives!
ReplyDeleteAw, congrats to them!!
ReplyDeleteIt's very possible all the married girls could be pregnant this year! That would be amazing! Lots of cousins the same age!
ReplyDeleteSo excited to hear this news. May God bless them with a beautiful healthy baby.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy for Lauren and Josiah! Lauren i wish you a good pregnancy and delivery. Wonderful news.
ReplyDeleteBut she’s only 20!
ReplyDeleteThat's how strange things get around here... One minute people are happy that a 20 yr. old is expecting and the next minute they're saying it's too young.
DeleteShe is a 20 year old ADULT married woman. This baby is what she wants and I am happy for her.
DeleteYes, it truly is a shame that Lauren hasn’t chosen the exact path in life that you have, @5:38. If only she were wise enough to be up at 5:38 am commenting negatively on fan blogs instead of out there living a life she actually likes!! Ugh!
Delete@6:38 my post was removed, but let me say I am entitled to my opinion, and I stand by what I say 20 in this day and age is too young to be married with children. Also, I am a woman in her 60's with an adult married daughter and a step grandmother who did live her life when I was younger. Do you have children and would you have wanted them married with children at 20?
DeleteWhoops sorry @6:38 I answered a post not meant for me. Sorry.
Delete@6:07 You are absolutely entitled to your opinion. Did I say otherwise? 20 isn’t too young, as age doesn’t always determine experiences or maturity, as evidenced by your lack of maturity in your comment, despite being 60 years old.
DeleteYes, I have 5 children and counting. Yes, I’d be happy for them to marry and conceive at 20 if their circumstances led them there.
Anon 6.07. I have children, a 23 year old son & a 21 year old daughter & No wouldn’t want them to have been married with children at 20, but that’s because it wouldn’t have been right for them. Both my children want good careers, both have been to university & my son is now studying to be a surgeon & my daughter starts her new job as a teacher in September. However I’m very happy for Lauren as she appears to have wanted to be married young, her & Josiah make a lovely couple & seem genuinely in love. Becoming a mother also seems to be something she wanted from early on so I’m pleased that this has happened for them as a couple. We are all different & all entitled to our opinion. Just because you & I wouldn’t have wanted that for our own children is one thing, what Lauren & Josiah do is up to them.
DeleteThank you Fuzzyferet for not attacking me also. I think I'm going to quit posting. I will say this it's a good thing I'm already a Christian because if I wasn't I would have to start questioning some of the people on this page. The showing God's love part. Just because I don't agree with some of the things you do @12:30 is no reason to attack me. I do hope Lauren has a safe and happy pregnancy.
DeleteSo??!!
DeleteCongratulations! I'm so happy for them. 🤗😁
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Lauren and Josiah
ReplyDeleteI have been watching and waiting and praying for this announcement! I am so happy for them! Wow, from 12 to 17 grandchildren in 1 year!
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy for Lauren and Josiah!
ReplyDeleteEvery time I'm opening this blog now I'm expecting to read a new baby announcement! So awesome! Lauren and Josiah will be great parents!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! Absolutely great news! I think Jill might be next - they just moved into the new house, so who knows, maybe they decided to celebrate the new house with a new baby?
ReplyDeleteI also think Abbie might be announcing soon, both John and Abbie are slightly older and they probably want kids earlier than later. That is seriously wild -- now the family is expecting 5 grandbabies in the Fall (including Amy's baby who is also like a grandbaby to Duggars, great niece or nephew anyway). And can be more coming soon!
Jill and Derick would be crazy to expand their family while he's in law school. She has her hands full enough by herself as it is.
DeleteMaybe after her last two emergency c. Sections Jill will not want to rush into another pregnancy. Clearly there were issues after Samuel’s birth & who knows what advice she was given. I’m sure Jill loves her little boys more than anything & as such would not put herself in any danger by having a third pregnancy unless it was absolutely safe to do so. After all those little boys need their mother healthy & well. Also her husband is a student at present, not the best time to bring another child into the equation financially. Why is it that the only thing some people are interested in is which one of these women is going to announce a pregnancy next ? For goodness sake there are 5 already pregnant just be satisfied at that, it’s not a competition.
DeleteThat new house is hardly large enough for an extra child. It's just enough room for the four of them. And with Derick in law school with the second year being the one they "work you to death" in I seriously doubt they'll be having more.
DeleteI applaud Derick for moving forward with his education and putting himself in a position to provide for his family with an extremely well paying job.
The Duggar grandbabies are coming in huge numbers every year!
ReplyDelete2017 - 3 grandbabies (Henry - February, Samuel - July, Mason - September)
2018 - 3 grandbabies (Gideon - February, Garrett - June, Felicity - July)
2019 - 5 grandbabies ! (June, October and November)
Why is this at all surprising? The Duggars had 19 kids. Many are adults and don't practice any form of birth control. Logically, it can be expected that there will be many babies being conceived!, now and in the future!
DeleteWho's due in October?
DeleteAnna is due in September
8:53 Agreed. It is going to slow down next year in 2020, though, unless there are some more courtships and marriages. Currently only three married daughters or daughters-in-law are not pregnant: Abbie, Jill and Jinger. It is possible some of those could still announce this year.
DeleteAnna is actually due in November. Nobody has announced they’re due in October except for cousin Amy. Kendra has not announced when she’s due, but some fans are assuming she’s due in October as well as Lauren perhaps. But like I said, those are assumptions only so far
Delete11:13, Anna said she was due in October
DeleteSo happy for Josiah and Lauren. Wishing them all the best. They look totally happy. My official guess is a girl.
ReplyDeleteAnyone know what dress Lauren is wearing? I think it's perfectly lovely.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your pregnancy God bless you both
ReplyDeleteBeen praying for Lauren and Josiah to have another blessing. Congratulations.
ReplyDeleteTechnically this is the 20th grandchild. Anna lost her second baby due to miscarriage and Lauren lost her first baby.
ReplyDeleteTheir baby would be the 19th. It seems as if Jim Bob and Michelle count living children since Caleb and later Jubilee were never part of the count during ___Kids & Counting.
DeleteLet's not start including every miscarriage or these girls are going to have to report publicly every time they're a little late and then something suspicious happens. Maybe they don't want to report every miscarriage to the public. Maybe they want to keep that number private. Also, some women aren't even aware that they've had a miscarriage, if it happens very early.
DeleteNope anna never had miscarriage
DeleteI think they mean out of the living grandkids.
DeleteUmm no
DeleteYou can't count every time anyone has a miscarriage. There may be miscarriages that they never tell anyone about outside the family. You have no way of knowing the exact number. Better not to try.
DeleteAnna did have a miscarriage, actually. But I don't think we need to include the miscarried babies in the grandchild count.
DeleteYep, Anna has a miscarriage before Michael, @11:44. She discusses it on the episode of Mackenzie’s first birthday.
DeleteBaby is a live born baby, not a miscarried fetus. Children and grandchildren are counted for babies, not all miscarriages,
DeleteThe Duggar ‘Big House’ better get a few more cribs and changing tables since there will be five infants at Christmas!! (And Gideon, Garrett, and Felicity will only be one)
ReplyDeleteIsn't it odd, fans/posts would like the Duggar boys to get into courtships, not one mentioned Jana.
ReplyDeleteJana might just be the next one to marry.
All good wishes to all the expectant mothers-to-be.
Exciting news! Praying for a smooth pregnancy and healthy baby and mom. Congratulations!!
ReplyDeleteTime 11:53AM Tues 5/21/19
ReplyDeleteCongrats L & J Duggar
If I was Lauren I would have waiting tell later to have a baby she just had a miscarriage. It's not good to have a baby that soon after a miscarriage you body needs to heel first.
ReplyDeleteMy cousin had a miscarriage and she didn't wait and got pregnant again and just had the baby and now it has now hearing. Her doctor told her to wait 6 months before you get pregnant again.
I don't think that's a hard and fast rule. I conceived several weeks after a miscarriage, and actually had a pretty easy pregnancy. My body healed just fine. It was also nice that I didn't know that I was pregnant until I was nearly 3 months along, because I thought my body was just taking a while to readjust after the miscarriage. Basically like skipping the first trimester! My baby and I had no problems.
DeleteGood grief. Even doctors know it’s fine to try again after the bleeding from a miscarriage stops.
DeleteHaving a baby so soon after a miscarriage doesn’t bring on birth defects!!! 🤨
Delete11:19, you can actually start trying a month later, and it sounds like your cousin may carry some genetic issues, but conceiving shortly after having a miscarriage can’t cause hearing loss in your next baby.
DeleteAnon 11.19. There is no medical reason to not get pregnant again once you have physically recovered from a miscarriage (usually 6 weeks). Some women need longer psychologically to grieve, however others find it helpful to their mental health if they fall pregnant quickly as it’s something to focus on. I’m sorry to hear about your cousins experience & the fact her child has hearing issues, however this is highly unlikely to have been caused by her previous miscarriage. In fact it can actually be easier to fall pregnant soon after a miscarriage than at other times & often because mother’s are still recovering & thinking of their loss they often don’t even realise till they are 3/4 months along, which can be a wonderful surprise for them.
DeleteGeneral overall health is a factor. After I miscarried my doctor told me I was fine to conceive. . . which I did.
DeleteCongratulations!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Happy for them and wishing them al the best. <3
ReplyDelete💝🌺🍼👶🏻🌸🎀Congratulations to Lauren and Josiah🎀🌸👶🏻🍼🌺💝 Greetings from Holland🇳🇱🇺🇸
ReplyDeleteNo not realy
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Lauren and Josiah. So happy for them. God Bless.
ReplyDeleteJoan,Marion and Marilyn
I think it’s cool that she went from sharing a due date with Jessa, to sharing a due date (at least within a month) of Anna and Joy.
ReplyDelete??? I don't think Lauren WANTED to do that.
DeleteI'm happy for any couple that conceives after miscarriage and I'm happy for them. But naming a miscarried pregnancy before it's even technically a fetus makes zero sense. I have had more miscarriages than I can count and there was no baby at that point.
ReplyDeleteI hope Lauren doesn't go with the skin tight tops during her pregnancy. She made such a to do over "modesty" in Austria it would be pretty hypocritical to follow Jessa's example.
ReplyDeleteEveryone saying she is too young, she is married and choose this life. I wasn't much older than her when I had my 1st and my husband and I were not married at the time and we didn't get married until our son was 2.5 years old and I'm not just 3 years older than when I had him and expecting our second child and day now. So she knows what she wants at a young age it's not a bad thing, some people know what they want out of life and go for it. And yes I know I had a child out of marriage and yes, I do enjoy hearing about the Duggars and Bates because it's interesting to see and understand another way of life, than the one you live. Also no I don't regret having my son when I did and neither does my husband, we always say he is our unexpected blessing that we didn't know we needed at then the time.
ReplyDeleteYay!!!! So happy for Lauren and Josiah :). Especially after what happened, I'm so glad for them. I'm happy for all whom are pregnant. Congrats!!!
ReplyDeleteSoon we will probably hear that grandchild #18 is coming soon - Jill's or Abbie's. It would be cool if someone had twins, since it indeed runs in the family.
ReplyDelete
