Jeremiah Duggar and Jedidiah Duggar
Jedidiah Duggar: "Josiah is really the prankster for the family, and so he's pulled some pretty good tricks over the years
Joseph Duggar: "[It's] well-deserved payback."
Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson are headed to the altar on tonight's Counting On season finale episode. But they had better watch their backs because the Duggar guys are preparing a payback prank for their dear brother (video below).

So it’s a rerun tonight?
ReplyDeleteJosiah’s Wedding hasn’t been viewed yet
DeleteThey’re rerunning some bits but it’s a 2 hr special so they’re adding plenty stuff we didn’t get to se on the 1/2 hour special, plus we’ll get to see their interviews
DeleteWell it’s a rerun with more footage than the original wedding episode that was played
DeleteNo, it is the full wedding.
DeleteSo excited
No. They always show a shorter version soon after the wedding and then a fuller version later. I haven't seen tonight's episode yet, but from the recap I can tell there's content we didn't see the first time around. If you don't like the format, you can skip watching the first look and wait for the full episode.
DeleteCome on guys, man up.. Just because Josian did does that mean you must? Think of his bride! It's not funny and it's not cute!
ReplyDeleteAgreed! The Duggar boys, as a whole, don't seem to think about the bride at all. They lack consideration or even basic awareness that it's her big day, that she's been dreaming about for years, and planning every little detail for years as she grows up. For a family that's supposed to have spent so much time training their children up, the guys are sorely lacking in this area. No bride is honestly and genuinely o.k. with having her wedding interrupted/upstaged by a prank. But what is she going to say with a camera crew in front of her, her new husband beside her, and being trained to always speak positively of your spouse in front of others? The boys act like boys, not men.
DeleteI agree - planning a wedding is a long ordeal and expensive.. . . Lauren (& her parents/family) deserved a mature beautiful day, their first time alone in the car should have been just that = ALONE. . . without Justin hiding.
DeleteSHAME OF THEM.
Those boys just can't step aside and be out of the spotlight, can they? Where did they learned that that's OK, and that's the way real men show respect?
Deletehilarious! cant wait to see it!
ReplyDeleteno its the full wedding not just clips
ReplyDeleteThe part of the guys shopping in this clip is not a rerun. I enjoyed this little clip a lot. Good to see James and Justin, they are growing more handsome every day. I have kind of changed my mind about the pranks. If their family really likes it and its "them", then I actually think its o.k. (for them). lol
ReplyDeleteThis is hilarious!!! Oops, payback time!!!
ReplyDeleteWow I couldn’t even recognize James or Justin!! They look so grow up!!
ReplyDeleteI love the message on Jedidiah's shirt.
ReplyDeleteMaybe neither?
DeleteI find that message in poor taste. We all know that there are certain religious groups who think they've got their ticket to heaven punched and anyone who does not believe as they do is toast. How sad that there a people who think that way.
Deletelove the show miss watching it have directv but had to down size the package still recovering from hurricane Harvey. thought i could watch it on the tlc site but it would not let me cause because i don;t have the right directv package if i did i would not have to watch it on tlc. can you let me know where else i can watch Bev Valdez
ReplyDeletePranks are so hateful and hurtful. Not to mention bullying. I am surprised the Duggars engage in such behavior.
ReplyDeleteThe pranks were maybe understandable back when Josh and Anna got married 10 years ago, because the siblings were so young and silly. But now that everyone is getting older, and hopefully more mature, there should be no more pranking. I agree, pranks are hurtful, bullying behavior.
DeleteI know. Especially during church (Josiah’s prank to Joe during his wedding ceremony)
DeleteAs long as they are not physically harmful or physiologically damaging there’s nothing wrong with pranks. Grow some thicker skin.
DeleteCome on. It’s not a matter of thin skin. It’s a matter of disrespect for the occasion.
DeletePhysiologically? Don't you mean psychologically? What pranks aren't damaging in that way? I've never known anyone who enjoyed getting pranked.
Delete11:54- Grow thicker skin? That response is condescending and completely lacking in empathy for others who perceive jokes and pranks as nothing more than passive aggressive bullying. Being entertained by the pain or embarrassment of others is not a noble character trait. I've always thought of those in this category as lacking in self-esteem and have to build themselves up at the expense of others.
DeleteRemarks like 11:54 are the reason why pranks continue...
DeleteA sense of humor never hurt anyone; God says laughter does good like a medicine. The gang of Duggar boys were respectful of Mr. Swanson's request not to play pranks in the sanctuary. Lighten up! ❤
DeleteI agree that some pranks are ok but not for a wedding. The bride and groom are already a little nervous and a prank would just heighten that
DeleteWhat couple wants to remember their wedding day as the day they were constantly on guard in case the groom's relatives decided to prank them as some sort of payback? Save it for April Fool's Day. Or better yet, save it period.
DeleteI saw less than a minute of tonight's show while flipping channels. Lauren said things were "amazing" three times in those few seconds.
ReplyDeleteThis show ship is sinking fast.
I disagree. This season was very well done. Can’t wait for the next season...just wish they wouldn’t show previews of TLC’s other shows that are not appropriate for kids. By this time I would think they could get other good sponsorship for Counting On.
DeleteI agree with you. No kids at my house but a lot of the commercials are offensive to me. I record and fast forward all the commercials.
DeleteIf you watch Counting On, then TLC is Counting On you seeing those commercials, you know. That's what it's all about, advertising. If you don't like what you're seeing, let them know.
DeleteListen, we can complain about those commercials all we want, but the Duggars are all happily accepting paychecks for a show paid for by those sponsors. If not, they wouldn't keep renewing their contract with TLC. So what does that say about the their family values? Particularly given that they don't even allow their own children to watch the show or TLC? The network is not Christian, so you cannot expect them to act as if they were. The Duggars are. Accountability starts with the people accepting the check.
DeleteI'm sure the Duggars, who don't watch t.v Probably don't know about offensive commercials. And it's Jessa who should be aware as it's her show now.
DeleteI find it hard to believe that the Duggars are unaware of who sponsors their show. Jim Bob and Michelle aren't stupid and have trained all of their children in business (via IBLP Wisdom Booklets on Business and Business Law). It may be "Jessa's show", but her parents, siblings, and brother/sister-in-laws are all collecting paychecks for their appearances, courtesy of those same sponsors. Accountability starts with those checks; the Duggars are well aware who is funding this show. TLC is just the middle man. Every "star" knows who their sponsors are, it's disclosed in the contracts.
DeleteDefinitely not a rerun! Loved the episode!
ReplyDeleteYes well sorta ...they showed the wedding the first Episode of this new season but left a few things out...(the reception ,the car joking store runs the tea her sister gave) but the wedding itself was already aired
ReplyDeleteSad... such a waste of time and money. And just a mean thing to do to intentionally ruin part of someone's wedding day. I would be livid and hurt if someone did that to me.
ReplyDeleteNot to mention "trash"ing the environment. Where do you think all those little stickies ended up - littered along the street.
DeleteThey tricked out the getaway car. Once again, don’t dish it if you can’t take it
DeleteThier pranks at the weddings are soo tacky and tasteless
ReplyDeleteit took Josiah a while to tell Lauren she looked pretty. Actually he SHOULD have said she looked beautiful, gorgeous or stunning, something other than pretty. Pretty is for everyday.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree.
DeleteI think it was only appropriate to prank Josiah on his wedding day. I thought the prank was harmless and they kept their promise by not pranking during the ceremony.
ReplyDeleteIt was oddly cut. They show them setting up the pranks but then end at the you are husband and wife. At least if you have it on Amazon.
ReplyDeleteIsn’t revenge considered sinful?
ReplyDeleteYep, because at some point in pranking and the one upmanship, someone invariably crosses the line and goes to far and someone is hurt and offended , creating a rift and a need for repentance on one side and a need to forgive on the other. It's just not a wise game to play.
DeleteAttitudes like this give Christians a bad name; we're allowed to have fun! ❤
