Josh and Anna Duggar and their five children spent Labor Day at Farmland Adventures, a farm in Northwest Arkansas that has corn mazes, a pumpkin patch, wagon rides, pony rides, a petting zoo, and more. The entire Duggar clan loves this place and has visited many times over the years, including last September. This time, Josh and Anna went with both family and friends.

Isn’t that the maternity dress she and Joy wore with there last pregnancies?! Will there be an announcement soon? :)
ReplyDeleteI have that dress. It is not sold as a maternity dress. They may have worn it while pregnant because it’s roomy, but wearing it isn’t a sign she’s pregnant. Mine looks great on me not pregnant but I could probably still wear it throughout most, if not all, of a pregnancy. All of her babies are almost exactly 2 years apart, so chances are we have at least a few more months before an announcement :)

DeleteAnon at 909AM, seems we're in the minority here but I totally agree with you. It's not just a question of forgiveness of sins. To me, everything Josh did to his family, indicates a deep brokenness inside him (which he himself alluded to in vague terms in the past).

We can forgive an alcoholic drunk driver who injures or even kill people in a crash, too, but that doesn't mean we should leave him alone in a room full of liquor.

My point is that Anna has obviously made an agreement with Josh which is none of our business. Also we should just enjoy the children's pics. Eventually these young and innocent children (including the cousins) will begin to figure things out and read something before they are ready to understand. Josh and Anna have no way to control it unless they keep to themselves and stay off social media. It is best to keep them away from that. I did not mean that Josh was not to be trusted. That's got to be strange and create some tension in the fact that her family can never be mentioned on the show anymore. I wish she and Josh would do a special segment or interview on things since the scandal. Maybe then people would be more accepting of Josh and their decision to save their marriage. God bless guys!

I am sure his family watches him closely, but it doesn’t need to be brought up all the time. People have to be able to move forward in their lives without being constantly reminded of their sins.

Is this comment saying don't forget, don't forgive, don't love? Jesus met Saul on the road. And Saul was killing Christians. Saul was forgiven and commissioned to lead in public. King David was forgiven for his sin and called a man after God's heart. Jesus told the crowd about to stone a sinful woman that anyone not guilty themselves should cast the first stone. I think the case to forgive is strong and I am not worrying about the seeming strength of this commenters condemnation.

His family has talked for him on the show and in televised interviews, but nothing directly from Josh. Pictures don't prove anything one way or the other. Going on camera doesn't prove change or growth either.
DeleteJosh has lied so easily that the only ones who know if his heart has changed is himself and God. He has a lifetime to show Anna and the rest of the family he has changed.

He was a public figure when he was leading a double life, knew it was biblically wrong, and still lived the lifestyle he did. Josh didn't even stop his infidelity on his own, he was caught. You earn respect, Josh isn't entitled to special treatment or to be on a tv show. People with young children have a right to be wary of him. There are some behaviors that people will not forget about despite the passing of years.
DeleteI wish the best for Anna and their children. They were hurt the most by Josh and now have to live with the consequences of his wrongdoings. I truly hope he has changed and treats Anna the way that she has always deserved to be treated.
Since Josh has not wronged ME, I don't need to "forgive" him for anything. However, I do think he and his family are better off staying out of the spotlight and having a more normal life than appearing on a TV show.
DeleteYou can be forgiven but there are always consequences. Josh doesn’t get a free ride. Also, have you ever considered that it could be bad for Josh to be back on the show? He does not seem to thrive in the spotlight

ReplyDeleteWell, for starters, Josh was leading a double life while being a well-paid spokesperson for a politically-aimed family values organization. He didn’t come clean until he was outed during the AM scandal. He didn’t just betray his family, but also the American people. We should all concern ourselves when public figures are telling others how to live their lives, but then do the exact opposite in their own.
