It's the downstairs side room/playroom/whatever of the main house. We've seen them before at those lockers. We've seen visiting kids congregating in that room in family pics. At the end of this video, you can see them go back out the door towards the living area.
while the girls are very cute, just because you can sing does not mean that you should. It does not seem that the girls really like to sing or are enjoying this process. I also have another question: why is Jessa almost always shown in the videos? I would love to see Anna, John David, Jinger, Josiah or Joy on the videos.
How very rude. All children love to sing. You need to keep your negativity to yourself and cease from directing it towards others, especially innocent children
6:03, actually not all kids love to sing. when I was younger I was in a music choir for a little bit, and a lot of the kids there were being forced by their parents to come and hated it.
It is an observation, that the girls don't seem like they are enjoying the process. I agree. They don't seem very enthusiastic. The comment is not directed at the children but rather the adults who are driving this bus.
There is a difference between children singing for the love of it and recording an album. Children can have fun, make mistakes with lyrics, and ad lib songs when simply singing. They have to be in the right key, know the words, and sing take after take when recording an album. Michelle was coaching Josie throughout the Star Spangled Banner and cutting her off when Josie sang the wrong words, Josie didn't look like she was having fun or loving that moment.
I ordered a CD,can't wait to receive it. It will be special because the young Duggar girls are on it singing for the Lord. They are so precious, their voices are beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing this with us...Jane
I don’t think so at all. It’s the relatives that were pushing this, and I think Michelle is there in support of the girls. I don’t think anyone has to worry that this endeavor will take off and the girls will become stars. I don’t get the impression that the little girls want that either. Keep in mind Amy’s failed attempts at Nashville and reality tv. For these girls it is just a fun and nice pastime that will end with this one lovely cd as a memento. I really think that’s how Michelle sees it too.
TLC seems as if they never intended the show to change forever. They made it different at first so people would stop complaining about Josh possibly being on, but then it has slipped right back to what it was. I'm not amused about that either.
Josie looks like a young Jackson. Josie does not resemble my of the older girls. Jordyn and Johanna look similar to Joy-Anna and Jana. I do not see Jennifer looking like any of the older girls. Mackynzie looks a little like Jordyn. They are all adorable. Joan,Marion, and Marilyn
Seems like the Duggars are now trying to make money off their younger kids now. If the girls love to sing great let them sing at church, weddings, and family get togethers. No need to push them into a recording studio for the adults to profit from something they enjoy. After all if they keep pushing the kids and making it work they will grow to resent singing.
The music industry is a brutal place. I can't imagine pushing children into it, even if they think they want to do it. Have you seen what has happened to some child musical stars?
Johannah looks like a mixture of Joy & Jinger. Jennifer looks like Jana. Jordyn looks like a mixture if Jana & Jessa. Josie looks like Jessa & Jill. Mackynzie looks like her mother Anna.
The hopes of a music career faded away. Amy is now working in a field totally unrelated. I won't get any more specific because I don't feel I should divulge her workplace. But she's working with people in a helpful capacity.
I think Johannah looks like Janna and Jinger. I can't tell with the younger girls yet. It would be neat to see pictures of the older girls at the same ages as the younger girls.
Precious!!! I really love this whole family! Thank you Lily and Ellie for the blog! I had the opportunity to meet the Duggars. Just randomly ran into them when we were in Arkansas. What a comfortable, down to earth family. I think I fumbled a little with words, not expecting to run into them, but was so blessed by them! Dear people. The real deal.
Thanks for leaving your comments! We answer as many of your questions as we can, but due to the number of comments we receive daily, we are unable to answer every one. Our aim is to post all points of view, but we do not post anything that is profane, insulting, derogatory, or in poor taste.
What room of the house were they in? I don't recognize it. Maybe they rearranged the house? :0)

DeleteIt's too much pressure for a child!

ReplyDeletei think johanna looks so much like joy. jennifer is getting so pretty & has a nice voice. she reminds me a lot of jana
ReplyDeleteMackynzie is a very beautiful young girl!!!!!! She looks like a doll!!!! I love U Anna!!!!
ReplyDeleteAgree, agree, agree!!! Anna is clearly doing something wonderful with her daughter!!!
DeleteI too agree - MacKynzie is a very pretty girl. She has always acted very politely - for example Jill & Derick's gender reveal with Samuel.
DeleteAgree that Anna is someone special.
DeleteI think mackynzie looks like anna and johannah reminds me of joy.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute idea for the girls to record!
ReplyDeleteIs Michelle becoming a stage mom?
ReplyDeleteBecoming?

DeleteI think we'll see more than one CD. Otherwise it would be like eating one potato chip.
DeleteHannah looks just like Joy, Jordan looks like Jessa and Jinger, Jeni Jana, Josie Jinger, and Mackenzie looks like Anna and Josh
ReplyDeleteSorry about name spellings may have gotten some wrong
ReplyDeleteAnd...nope...cute for parents and grandparents.
ReplyDeleteExactly.
DeleteAnd those of us who aren't related, but thought it was cute too.
DeleteJosie is the most confident because she has the most attention.
ReplyDeleteI thought Counting On was about the adult kids and their households. When did that change?
ReplyDeleteTLC seems as if they never intended the show to change forever. They made it different at first so people would stop complaining about Josh possibly being on, but then it has slipped right back to what it was. I'm not amused about that either.
DeleteSeems like it has become counting on again with Jessa doing the commentary.
DeleteIt changed when fans started requesting to see what's up with the rest of the family because we're missing them.
DeleteNearly every blogger here, at one time or another, has asked that tlc show more of the younger kids. So they did!
DeleteI hope so do you think I love the whole family and hope they are all back on tv soon
Delete@ 11:46.That’s why Jessa was there...
ReplyDeleteBought the album, it is sweet...you can tell they really put their hearts into it. I was encouraged! Thanks girls!
ReplyDeleteMy kids love the cd!

I seen a picture of Michelle as a very young girl and Josie is her double

ReplyDeleteMaybe they think it would be neat to make a CD. Not necessarily for the money.
DeleteSince we don't know what their motive was in doing this, perhaps we should just assume the best.
DeleteThe music industry is a brutal place. I can't imagine pushing children into it, even if they think they want to do it. Have you seen what has happened to some child musical stars?
DeleteFor children who are supposed to be sheltered from worldly influences, the music industry is the last place you'd want to put them!
DeleteAll of these girls are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI don't think any of the girls look like Jinger or Jessa at all
ReplyDeleteAll of the duggar boys/men are handsome and all the girls/women are beautiful. The in laws included. I envy their lifestyles (in a good way though😊)
ReplyDeleteNice girls. Very talented.
ReplyDeleteJohannah looks like a mixture of Joy & Jinger. Jennifer looks like Jana. Jordyn looks like a mixture if Jana & Jessa. Josie looks like Jessa & Jill. Mackynzie looks like her mother Anna.
ReplyDeleteListening to the Happy Heart album on iTunes - very sweet compilation!
ReplyDeleteWhat ever happened to (cousin) Amy's music career? She had set her dreams to be a country music celebrity.
DeleteDoes she work at all?
The hopes of a music career faded away. Amy is now working in a field totally unrelated. I won't get any more specific because I don't feel I should divulge her workplace. But she's working with people in a helpful capacity.
DeleteAt least she didn't decide on a TV career after that marriage encounter program. Did any of you see that???
DeleteI think Johannah looks like Janna and Jinger. I can't tell with the younger girls yet. It would be neat to see pictures of the older girls at the same ages as the younger girls.

ReplyDeleteWho is the adult woman that sings with them in the next to last song. She has a pretty soprano voice and you can tell it's not one of the girls.
