For those who have asked if Samuel Dillard, who turned one year old yesterday, is learning to walk, the answer is yes! It won't be long before he is running full speed with older brother Israel Dillard.

ReplyDeleteHe looks so completely different than Israel. It's almost as if they're not related. He looks kind of like Aunt Jessa here. Israel is 100% Derick's side of the family.
ReplyDeleteThat's not uncommon. One of my aunt's didn't have kids but my mom had 4 of us. My sister looks a lot like my aunt. Takes after her too!
DeleteMy sister has 10 children and I have 5 going on 6. My oldest neice looks more like me than her mom. And my daughter looks like my neice too.
DeleteAppearances can change quite a bit as children grow up. Family resemblances can become more obvious with maturity.

It sure is a shame we don't get to see sweet Jill anymore...the men in this family really screwed it up for the rest of us.
ReplyDeleteI too miss seeing Jill & Derick, watching the little ones grow and interact with their aunts, uncles and most of all their cousins. Real shame, we grew to care about the Dillards.
