Forsyths Celebrate 1 Year of Wedded Bliss

In addition to Grandma Mary's birthday, today is also Joy and Austin Forsyth's one-year wedding anniversary. This time last year, they were reciting their vows in front of family and friends, and now, twelve months later, they are all settled into their fixer-upper house with their three-month-old son. Happy anniversary, Forsyths!

    1. That is a strange term to use. Life (or marriage) is never completely blissful, to be honest.

    1. She just had a baby three months ago! She's a human, not a broodmare.

    2. I wouldn't say they're "getting" a second child...sounds like "getting" a dog! They'll be having a second child when the time is right

    3. Good grief, you're looking for a timetable?

    4. Aww, she needs time to recover and enjoy Gideon.

    5. WHY DO YOU RESPOND TO COMMENTS LIKE THIS? Don’t say anything and they’ll get bored and go away.

  12. Congratulations Joy and Austin! Loved the wedding and honeymoon. Loved the part of the honeymoon with the chocolate. It was very enjoyable watching the show. I can't wait for baby #2 and I miss seeing Gideon. I looked forward to every new season and can't wait for the next one. Natasha B.

    1. Would you be disappointed if Joy feels she's in no hurry for #2? Her first is only a few months old. A woman's accomplishments or value as a human being should not be measured by the ability to reproduce.

    2. I'd be just as happy for these girls if they never had any more children and got on with their lives as they are. They don't need to set any population records as their mother did. It's just as much of a blessing to have one or two children.

    3. I agree 6:23. Why is a woman's accomplishments be defined by how many children they have.

First off this blog has rules no negative stuff. 2nd how dare you say I'd be just as happy for these girls if they never had any more children and got on with their lives as they are. That is very disrespectful to say that's their life their business I would never say to a famous person on FB on how to live their lives. You gives you the right to say that. If you don't have any thing nice to say don't say anything at all. I can tell you aren't a fan of this family by saying a rude comment. This family had a enough hate as It is. People like making a comment like that is beyond dumb not right at all. Certain things you just don't say think before you speak.

    5. There is nothing wrong with hoping that a woman has a happy life.

    6. Neddy- I think you personalized and misunderstood that comment, it was not meant for you. Furthermore, it wasn't telling anyone how to run their lives. The poster just said that they would be happy for them even if Joy or her sisters don't have more children. Small families can be happy, too. Having a huge family does not guarantee a joyful life.

    7. I didn't read that comment as negative. 9:31 and 9:26 are right. Nobody needs to prove anything by producing a large family, especially not to please others. Small is fine!

    1. They should of gotten to know each other better before getting married and having a child together.

    2. Joyce, it's impossible for us to know how well they knew each other before being married. It's also impossible to know everything about another person before getting married. Part of marriage and parenthood is getting to know yourself and your spouse better.

  18. Where does it state that no negative comments would be posted? It says that all points of view are considered and posted. Sometimes, a different point of view is not a compliment, NOR is it negative in a NASTY way. There are many points of view and many different ways of thinking and living. ONE WAY doesn't fit all; yet the Lord loves us all. I enjoy the differences posted here.

    1. Me too! I cant stand all the name calling (hateful, rude, nasty etc.) just because someone has a different opinion. People, it’s ok to have your own opinions! Just be thoughtful and considerate in voicing them. This country is divided enough without adding to it. Peace.
