Only 12 weeks to go until Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo welcome their little girl. Jinger has reached 28 weeks, which means she is officially in her third trimester. Have you ever been to Potbelly Sandwich Shop? It's delicious. The Vuolos recently ate at the one in Waco.

Yes Jinger we can see your stomach, you don't need to hold it.
ReplyDeleteWow, do you have no sense of humor? Look at the sign above her
DeleteShe’s just having fun, relax.
DeleteYou are so unnecessary! People who comment like this must be miserable inside. Why troll??
DeleteI think you forgot your sense of humor before you clicked on this post.
DeleteGet a sense of humor will you....
DeleteTime to give this comment a rest. We've seen it so many times, any time one of the girls dares to put her hand on her unborn baby. Clearly the whole point of this picture is to emphasize her belly since the name of the restaurant is Potbelly!
Deletelooks like she's following the Duggar tradition of wearing a very tight shirt during pregnancy. not very modest like they usually are
DeleteSnarkopolous... do you need a hug?
DeleteThat’s rude let her hold her belly if she wants to.
DeleteShe only did this to make a joke about having a big belly under the sign "potbelly". Also there is nothing wrong with a pregnant woman holding her belly. Its a very exciting time for Jinger and Jeremy. I wonder what they will name the baby?
DeleteGenerally a woman who holds or cradles her baby bump means she is in love with the child she’s carrying. So Jinger, hold that bump right up til you give birth ❤️❤️
DeleteAre you jealous 🤨
DeleteWhy so rude?
DeleteDear Tammy holding your hand under your belly in public while pregnant to emphasize your bump is considered tacky by many people. I don't see it as a sign of "loving your baby".
DeleteI generally dislike the holding the belly pose, but in this case it was clearly done with a sense of humor regarding the sign.
DeleteWow anon 7:23... let me guess
Delete..you are pro-choice
I think they hold their belly like that in public because their Mom having 19 pregnancies did it too. I think they also wear the tighter blouses because Michelle did it in the later part of her pregnancies.
DeleteIf she wants to hold her stomach. It’s a free world. If she wants to hold it, their should not be well that’s not cool. Jinger is a good person who loves Jesus like everyone else in her family.
DeleteIf she wants to hold it, there should be no problem. It’s a free world. She loves Jesus Christ
Deletewith all of her heart so does her family. Jinger is a good person.
It’s a joke and a silly picture. Get a sense of humor.
DeleteLol. I see Jinger has her little potbelly going on there. Cute!
ReplyDeleteLove how Jinger is rubbing her potbelly under a potbelly sign. Funny!
ReplyDeleteAgreed ... 11:14 am ♡♡
DeleteJust love love love this photo and love a person with a sense of humor. Praying that Jinger has a easy delivery...Jane
ReplyDeleteI love Jinger’s expressions!
ReplyDeleteYes. we have one in Port Huron, Michigan
ReplyDeleteI spent 10 years in Port Huron!
DeleteWe have one in Downriver area of Mi.too
DeleteJinger has a good sense of humor, showing her belly in front of Potbelly Sandwich Shop. Soooo funny!!!!! That baby is sure growing!
ReplyDeleteLove the bump!
ReplyDeleteShe looks a lot like Jessa in this pic. Very cute Jinger!
ReplyDeleteWaco is a long way from Laredo, hope the meal was worth the trip.
ReplyDeleteI think they were visiting the Silos again
DeleteLooking good soon will have your sweet little girl.
DeleteTime 7:38AM Mon 4/30/18
DeletePotbelly sandwich never heard of that. But I know I heard of subway I love there sandwiches. Can't wait for J&J Have their little girl.
At the silos again, think they should just move there, and call their baby magnolia!
Delete11:22, oh my word, that would be an adorable name! The could call her Maggie!
DeleteMaybe they are looking at a Church in Waco for Jeremy to pastor, and they'll leave Laredo
DeleteWhat is with the Duggar girls and holding their pregnant bellies? I've been pregnant and never thought I needed to hold my stomach like that when a picture was being taken or at any other time for that matter.
ReplyDeleteI know neither did I. It appears that we didn't love our unborn children, as that was the reason posted above why pregnant women hold their stomachs. No, it's just because we had class:-)
DeleteSome one with class probably wouldn’t have written the reply that 11:13 or 5:53 wrote. Everyone is different, some hold their bellies some don’t ...has nothing to do with how much you love your baby or how much class you have.
DeleteI sure didn't want to put my growing body on display like that either. Or tuck my clothes down with my hands to be sure everyone saw exactly how pregnant I was.
Delete11:13, holding your stomach does not mean that you are classless, nor does not holding your stomach mean that you don’t love your baby. Why can’t we all just say “Oh what a cute photo” and move on without making rude comments?
DeleteI heldy belly all the tims. Because my son rarley kicked and when he did I loved the feeling. So I'm and Jinger people you don't know are classless?
DeleteWell I did and my oldest is almost 16...guess you gals missed out on the holding of stomachs....🤗🤔😁
DeleteMaybe we thought holding our maternity tops under our stomach to emphasize our "baby bump" was tacky.
DeleteThere is so much strain on your belly and hips while pregnant. Sometimes the only thing that relieves all that pressure is to hold your belly and give it some support! Some babies are also wild kickers or like to dig their feet into your ribs, so rubbing your belly moves their feet to a more comfortable position! I know that was all true for me. 😀
DeleteWoops I had no idea it wasn't classy. I found I constantly found my hand laid on my bump during both pregnancies it was like a reflex action. I'm very maternal.... Was never try trying to catch attention I was probably in my own little world trying to get that baby to stop kicking hehe. I don't have many pregnancy photos as I was very ill both times.
DeleteThis is more than a reflex with these girls. It's a habit. If you have so much strain on your muscles when pregnant, there are belly slings made for that. You don't have to go around holding up your belly with your hands for months on end. Let the garment do the work.
DeleteWow is that all you've got to complain about she's holding her belly!
Deletedo you guys even like the duggars...? Do you read the blog just to nitpick and complain and spread your poison? I come here because I think they are an interesting, inspiring, neat family and I like learning more about their lives. It's always so upsetting to read the comments. It's almost like a race who can find something to critisize first. It's easy to be a critic, guys. maybe you should turn all that energy inward. Are your lives without hypocrisy or flaw? Are your families perfect?
DeleteOmg I don’t like this at all! Ahhh! Why do they insist on cradling their stomachs!?
ReplyDeleteThis is the one and ONLY time I'd give them a pass to do that, to make the "potbelly" pun complete. Any other time, it's tacky to point out how big your midsection is.
DeleteTake a good look at the picture. She's doing it because of the name of the restaurant.
DeleteShe's pretending she ate too much. It's a Potbelly joke.
DeleteBecause they can nothing wrong with it I see lots of pregnant women do it it’s a sign of love and affection for their unborn child
DeleteWow, 10:22! Didn't know that the Duggars had to get your approval on matters.
DeleteThis is probably the best thing that could ever happen to them so they want to show off.
DeleteThat's pretty funny. Great sense of humor Jinger.
ReplyDeleteAnd it says they deliver too!! 😂
ReplyDeletePraying for a safe delivery for Jinger and baby
How much are you or Jeremy getting paid to advertise for Pot Belly?
ReplyDeleteThey are not getting payed, look at Jinger's face, it is a joke, pot belly's means, fat gut, so Jinger has a "fat" cut right now, so they ARE MAKING A JOKE!!!!! Jinger LOL!!!!!!
DeleteDon't be silly. They're advertising themselves.
DeleteWhat is wrong with you?
DeleteNothing they decided to go eat their and then take a picture under the sign
DeleteI thought it was just a joke and they were doing it for their fans.
DeleteIf the girls didn't do it all the time, I'd give Jinger a pass on this one as it was obviously a joke picture.
DeleteDo y'all get paid to say mean things?
DeleteJinger has a good sense of humor!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely shows that Jinger has a sense of humour! I do wonder how they can travel so much with Jeremy pastoring a church. Maybe he has a part-time position? Would they ever give that much information to viewers by telling us about his job?
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's an unpaid pastor job for Jeremy. I can't imagine any church being OK with his frequent absences if they were paying him. Congregations aren't unreasonable but they do expect their pastor to be available to the congregation most of the time, not traveling constantly the way Jeremy and Jinger do.
DeleteWe have absolutely no idea how much they actually travel, how long they're gone when they travel, etc. We just see pictures now and then. My pastor posts pictures of his family on Facebook in various places they go and yet he is also a dedicated pastor who is doing an awesome job.
DeleteI hope Jeremy's job isn't unpaid, since he is the sole worker in the household and especially since he listed himself as the sole owner of their new house! He better be earning money and have paid every cent of that down payment to purposely exclude Jinger's name from the title.
DeleteMy understanding was that Jinger was also on the title to their house. Austin is the sole owner of his house with Joy.
DeleteJinger earns money from being on Counting On and magazine exclusives. I don't think viewers take into consideration the amount of time and work it takes participating in the show.
I doubt that Jeremy is an unpaid pastor because he was subsiding as a pastor at the church prior to his relationship with Jinger.
Not only is Jinger beautiful, her sense of humor and facial expressions are just so darn funny! Thanks for the giggle!
ReplyDeleteJust a thought about the grumpy, mean and hateful people who are obviously seeking attention by being rude, dusplay zero class, or manners, don't feed them, nope. No acknowledgement. What joy do they get if they can't ruffle feathers? None. Let's do an experiment! Yes?
I thought it was considered equally rude to point out in public what you think is someone's rude behavior.
DeleteI wouldn't go as far as to call them hateful. But obviously there is no societal consensus on how "classy" it is or is not, for a pregnant woman to hold her belly. People who act like "Duggars are obviously breaking the rules of polite society" do come across IMHO as quite judgemental, indeed. And in this instance, sorely lacking a sense of humor.
DeleteUntil a commenter proves that this is actually considered to be bad manners by a well-known etiquette expert and not just something that people came up with to make themselves look and feel superior, I'm going to side with the Duggers.
DeleteJinger should be wise and ga to a real hospital.
ReplyDeleteHome births are honestly safer than hospital births IF you have a certified midwife, who has gone through real training.
Delete@2:53. No. Home births are AS safe as hospital births for low risks births, provided the midwife is CNM (which Jill is not). To assess the risk, the mother would have been monitored by CNM throughout the pregnancy.
DeleteThe key words are AS, low risk, and CNM.
What's "safer" about a home delivery team who has no access to a surgical suite or lifesaving equipment and supplies, should something go wrong? The safest place is always going to be the hospital, with trained staff and an OR ready down the hall. Outside of that, you'd better be certain you aren't going to need anything special during labor and delivery if you're going to attempt it at home.
Delete10:37, 2:53 here, well we can assume Jingers pregnancy is low risk, as they have not said otherwise, and I don’t count CPMs as being certified, so yes, only CNMs. And no, as long as you have a low risk pregnancy at births are indeed safer. They aren’t exposed to all the chemicals hospitals are full of, or hospital type germs. Plus your baby is subjected to the nasty eye ointment, or HEPB vaccine that is utterly pointless unless the mother has hepatitis.
DeleteHomes are full of germs from the people and pets in them. Also chemical cleaners, if they're trying to get rid of those germs. Vinegar and baking soda won't kill everything. Don't even get me started on anti-vaxxers.
DeleteHow do you know for sure your delivery will be just as low risk as your pregnancy? There are no guarantees once labour begins. Everything went fine with my pregnancy until labour started, then it all fell apart. Good thing I was in hospital.
1:57, I’ve done my own research, you do your own, and if you come to a different conclusion than me that’s fine, but don’t just be a blind follower and do something because it’s “what you’re supposed to do”. Have a nice day.
Delete8:57, whether you believe it or not, chemical free cleaners DO exist. Also, please do some vaccine research, all the antivax families I know are considerably healthier than provax families.
Delete8:57, who cares if someone is an antivaxer? Did you know that for the first two weeks after you’re vaccinated you shed the toxins they just injected into you, and others around you are susceptible to catching whatever disease you were just injected for? Vaccines are a billion dollar money making industry. Do some research please.
DeleteAnon @ 12:38 I am a nurse so have done my research. Vaccines are used to trigger an immune response in the individual being vaccinated but do not cause the illness. A small number of vaccines are live (MMR for example) but are in a 'weakend' form of the virus, they are unlikely to cause problems for healthy people, but the immuno compromised, the very elderly or unvaccinated young children might have a small risk of contracting an illness.
Delete4:37, I don’t care ignore it’s a small risk, it still exists, and it’s not worth it. Vaccines cause sooo many more problems than they solve, as you should know since you’re a nurse including, but not limited to: autism (please watch the documentary Vaxxed, there is lots of great info there, but you can find more elsewhere too), eczema, and allergies. And they’re filled with toxins like formaldehyde and mercury, some contain aborted baby parts, chicken embryo, calf heart serum (look it up), green monkey liver, eagle, etc. it’s sick
DeleteMy mother spent time in an iron lung due to diptheria and my father limped from having had polio as a kid. You will never convince me that the world is better off without vaccines.
DeleteI don't know what group with what agenda is giving you information about vaccines 12:17, but it's dangerously wrong.
Delete11:39, please go look up the CDC vaccine ingredient list, and tell me I’m wrong. Also, how is a group who makes no money off of their “agenda” seem worse than one that makes BILLIONS every year?
Delete8:30, polio was disappearing BEFORE the polio vaccine was ever introduced (look it up please), and cases of it gradually went down every year, the vaccine did not eliminate it.
DeleteI think Judah is good for J&J’S baby
ReplyDeleteThey’re having a girl
DeleteOk. Judina or Judith.
DeleteI doubt Jinger and Jeremy would use either of those
DeleteJinger looks amazing, and live the picture. If she or any other pregnant women wants to hold their belly let them. It's an amazing feeling being pregnant and feeling the baby kick. Or have some of you lucky ladies forgot what that is like?
ReplyDeleteJinger looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteJoan,Marion and Marilyn
As someone sitting I Norway reading the comments, I'm pretty taken aback by what we'd call high school mentality.
ReplyDeleteAll these "omg, she's holding her belly. Why would she?", insisting on those doing so, does so due to "lack of class" and wearing a t-shirt that shows her pregnant figure is "not modest", is really uncalled for.
If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say it. It's as easy as that. Even kids in kindergarten have better manners.
Let her hold her belly. She's not harming anyone. Let her wear that t-shirt if she wants to. Who cares!?! And to insist you have better class because you didn't cradle your belly while pregnant, isn't exactly a display of high class behavior either.
Being a public figure isn't the same as being a legitimate target for all kinds of criticism and harsh comments.
If you're all Christians, you should very well know this behavior isn't ok. In the end of the day it's not even about religion and being a good Christian. It's about being a decent human being.
Jinger: you look wonderful and I wish you a healthy and happy third trimester, a safe delivery and the very best for the fourth trimester, going forward.
Thank You!!! She does look amazing and she comfortable. I know for me the tight tshirts were comfortable during pregnancy. Under my work shirt that was loose fitting I wore a cami under it, to help support my belly. And being someone who was told could never have children being able to convince naturally and woth no help what so ever I cradled my stomach my whole pregnancy cause I was so happy to be having a child. I will do it again if I am blessed with another child.
DeleteYes, thank you, C. Frydenlund. It seems many have forgotten (or never known) what it means to be kind.
DeleteWell said!
Delete4:01. I don't think Jinger is worried about what people think or say as much as you are. She wouldn't be constantly posting pictures or selling articles to magazines if she was concerned about any criticism from the public. This is what her and Jeremy do to earn a living. If it bothered them, they would just get regular jobs like us.
DeleteThank you! I love that the Duggars are people just like everyone else but if people don't have anything nice to say than why do they try so hard to be a part of their lives. They can't help that every tabloid wants to over publicize their opinion.
DeleteI'm waiting for one of the Duggar children to have a proud picture of them wearing a mortar board.
ReplyDeleteSame here! Hold up a diploma! Not a pregnant stomach!
DeleteWho cares??? Let them choose their life
DeleteLove Jinger.
ReplyDeleteThis was meant as a pun so I'll give Jinger a pass on this picture. But not the rest of the time. I was raised in a strict Southern Baptist home and my mother would have been furious with me and my sisters if we had gone around cradling our stomachs while we were pregnant the way the Duggar girls do in public and posing for pictures. It's simply tacky by her standards (and most other Southerners of good family).
ReplyDeleteI go to a Baptist church and have seen our pastor's wife resting her hand on her baby belly. Perhaps that standard stems from the mentality of decades ago, like when they weren't allowed to use the word "pregnant" on television, or even earlier, when very pregnant women couldn't be seen in public.
DeleteGet over it, your family standards are just that “your family” standards. I have an adult daughter with three children of her own, it’s no longer my place to manage her behavior and her life choices are her own.
DeleteWhat is so bad about It? There are plenty of other immodest things to complain about! I don't know why placing your hand on your stomach is so sinful!
DeleteI don't understand how it is tacky to touch your own body.
DeleteI also grew up in a strict Southen Baptist church, and “of a good family” as you say, however you are being absurd. There is nothing wrong or inappropriate about cradling your stomach, and if you and your sisters are married adult women then she has no business being furious with how you place your hands.
DeleteFrom the well-known "What to Expect" site: If there’s one thing most pregnant women have in common, it’s that they can’t keep their hands off their growing baby bumps. For some moms-to-be, constantly touching, patting, rubbing and holding their belly can be soothing. For others, it’s a way to feel close to the baby inside. And, then, of course, there are those expecting moms who simply have gas.
ReplyDeleteIf you’re pregnant, you know that rubbing your belly simply makes you feel good no matter the reason. (And during pregnancy, things that feel good are always a huge bonus.) Now, a new study confirms that fetuses respond powerfully to belly touches, which may suggest that it makes them feel good, too!
Wow, it didn't mention the Duggars anywhere in there. What do you know?
Did it say that if you pose for a photograph, you always have to hand on your bump, pressing your clothing in if needed so everyone can see exactly how big your bump is?
DeleteDid you read it? That would tell you whether it says what you're asking about or not.
Delete12:56, why does it matter to you if she puts her hand on her stomach? The amount of people complaining about it is ridiculous, y’all need to get a life.
DeleteIs that the answer to everything - "get a life"?? Or is that what you say when you have no further idea of what to say and can't think of anything better? That's always confused me, so I err on the side of caution and never say it.
DeleteWow people...I can’t believe the nasty comments. Holding your baby belly is not tacky,-it’s beautiful. Pregnancy is a beautiful time in a woman’s life, and if she wants to show her growing baby, let her. I myself love the pictures of mommies holding their baby bellies.
ReplyDelete
