One year (almost to the day) after their 2017 trip to Chip and Joanna Gaines' famous Magnolia Market, the Duggars traveled back to the Waco Silos. This time, some of the younger children, as well as Josh, Anna, Michelle, Josiah, Lauren, Grandma Duggar, and Aunt Deanna, went along.
For those who haven't heard of Chip and Joanna, they are the stars of HGTV's Fixer Upper, which aired its series finale last week. Have you seen the show? Have you been to Magnolia Market?

ReplyDeleteLaura is with them all. the. time. And of course, nobody from the family takes a second to explain why that is, if she's living with them, if she's been hired by them, or what. Leave your loyal viewers wondering...or worse, gossiping!

DeleteThe Duggars seem to pick and choose the information they want us to know; which is their choice. It's human nature for us observers to be curious. They seem to be an open book when a Duggar is about to give birth; but silent when a random friend is consistently with them!

The more vague they keep things the more questions people ask, people talking keeps social media and blog sites busy, and fills up tabloid magazines, which in turn keeps the family in the public eye which is good for business!

DeleteWell, I believe Michelle taught her children until they were old enough to learn online themselves and teach the littles. Now, the older girls, sans Jana, are out of the home so they brought in Laura to assist in teaching the littles. I guess the older boys aren't allowed to teach their siblings. The whole family dynamic has changed.

ReplyDeleteI love seeing all of the sweet pictures. Seems like Mason looks so similar to Mackenzie, when she was his age. But, if my memory is is wrong. They are all beautiful children with such precious smiles.

Delete"The Silos" is a business establishment in Waco created by Chip and Joanna Gaines of the TV show "Fixer Upper." I believe it's a home goods/furnishing store, restaurant, cafe, and play area. There are huge signs for it off I-35 which runs through Waco in central Texas.

DeleteHer little bootie shoes look really odd with a skirt. When they lived in DC her fashion sense really changed and she always looked stylish, now she had reverted back to she used to dress, a little bjt frumpy, but then she is a momma of five little ones there isn't always time for yourself!

DeleteI really think Ben’s arm to to hide Jessa’s pregnancy. They probably haven’t announced it because of all the other baby births and reveals, and Ben and Jessa don’t want to take away from other joyous announcements. It needs to be announced in a special way for them, so they are just waiting.
Delete9:34 Jessa and Ben are known to tease the fans. Remember them hinting about twins with the other pregnancies? Don't believe anything until it is official. They may be trying to fool us.

DeleteLovely Family pictures however, "Chip" there (I forget his name) should show respect and take his cap off at the table! Wear it the way it's suppose to be worn as well. Josh and Anna's children are so sweet looking.
ReplyDeleteThis must have been a stop on the way to or from the Vuolos family baby gender reveal. I'm assuming it will have been filmed by TLC, wonder how they will prevent Josh from being seen this time?
ReplyDeleteThey've had the sun flare cover-up and the don't-pan-that-far cropping, so I'm sure they'll come up with something or somewhere for Josh to stand. Maybe every time they tell him to move over, it will be a good reminder for him to behave himself in the future.
DeleteIt is called editing and setting up the shots. And maybe, unlike so many of other Duggars, he had to work and had to stay home since he no longer gets a TLC pay check.

DeleteI am not a fan of commercial tourist destinations. I'd rather visit sites of historical significance. My favorites have been the beginning and the end of the Lewis and Clark Trail, Pearl Harbor, and the Laura Ingalls Wilder sites in South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa and Missouri. Our next road trip will include Civil War National Parks and the Helen Keller Home in Tuscumbia, Alabama.

DeleteI'm wondering now if Jessa had a miscarriage. There were reports all over the place earlier this year that she was spotted in person and definitely looked pregnant. Now she doesn't look pregnant, and there was no baby news. I wonder if something happened, and if they'll ever speak of it? Being so high profile, she could speak honestly and help other women going through something similar.
ReplyDeleteI don't think she had a miscarriage but if she did she might not want to talk about it just now or at all. While she might be a 'personality' it does not automatically mean she wants to speak out, and that goes for anyone in the public eye going through something like this or an illness they have every right to keep medical issues private.
DeleteI think the whole "Jessa is pregnant" rumor was just that, a rumor. To speculate that she had a miscarriage is just that, wild speculation. I also recall many past rumors that Cousin Amy was pregnant, yet so far, all of those rumors have come to nothing.
DeleteAnd I don't think Jessa is obligated to disclose a miscarriage. I don't buy into the idea that just because she's on TV means she shouldn't expect ANY privacy at all. She chose not to have her first kiss in public either.
