"Kendra has always been our happy, bubbly, sunshine-on-a-rainy-day girl."
-Christina Caldwell
Tonight on an all-new episode of Counting On, Kendra Caldwell takes her mother, her grandmother (affectionately called "Grammy"), her sisters (Lauren and Gracie), Michelle, Jana, and Josie to Kentucky to find a wedding dress. Following in the footsteps of Jinger and Joy, Kendra will have a custom gown designed by Renee Miller from Renee's Bridal.
I (Ellie) am especially looking forward to this episode because I was able to be behind the scenes during Kendra's dress fitting, as well as during her birthday celebration later that day. Be sure to tune in tonight at 9pm ET/8pm CT.

ReplyDeleteI agree, Kendra is so happy and bubbly! Love her spirit and energy!
ReplyDeleteWhy are you going back to this material? Esp since She is already pregnant ?
ReplyDeleteWedding rehash. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteKendra is so sweet!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Caldwell family - Beautiful Kendra
ReplyDeleteIs that Kendra's biological mother? She looks so young! Her father, too!
ReplyDeleteYes. Kendra looks like her mom.

ReplyDeleteI don't have cable but I seen Kendra & Joe's wedding on YouTube It was so beautiful great wedding. Kendras parents look so young they can pass as her older brother & Sisters It's the fountain of youth. Her dad is really hot. Once congrats to Joe & Kendra who will have a baby boy soon.
Kendra's mom is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful young woman.
ReplyDeleteShe looks beautiful. I wish I could see the show. I had to give up my cable because it cost too much.
ReplyDeleteI love her Kendra! I could see her doing a great motivational/life style blog someday. She's got great personality and spirit!
ReplyDeleteSeriously, the only somewhat interesting couple is Jinger and Jeremy. Please TLC give them their own show. Joe and Kendra, Joy and Austin are just so boring. Ben and Jessa? What can you do with two non-working adults? Not much. Just.So.Boring.
ReplyDelete"The cap sleeves are precious", says Michelle. I have a question, does she say that because that's the way christians talk or is that her own way of speaking. No one I know talks about clothes being "precious".
ReplyDeleteAnon @ 10:17 The Duggars have a lot of words and phrases they use a lot, sweet, precious and season of life are the first three that come to mind. Maybe its a southern thing maybe its a duggar thing, but whatever it is its a funny thing lol!
DeleteI think that must have been a scripted line, and not spontaneous. It came off like bad acting, lol. Michelle is not an actress for sure!
DeleteUsing the word "precious" in that context struck me as strange. I don't know if TLC reads this blog, but I'd like them to know that having to watch the dress shopping now when it (and the wedding) are long past is not going to keep my interest in this show.
DeleteI’m from the south, and normally if someone says “precious” they’re talking about a baby.
DeleteI'm from the South also and where I come from, unless someone's talking about a baby, "precious" means "I'm too polite to tell you what I really think of...". Outside of referencing a baby, here it means that the responder dislikes whatever it is, but doesn't want to hurt your feelings. I can't speak for Arkansas though, although Michelle seems a tad over gushy as she says it- like she's never seen or heard of cap sleeves and they're incredible. Her comment comes off very fake and contrived.
DeleteI love Renee's enthusiasm! You can tell she just lives to make brides happy!!!
ReplyDeleteFrom personal experience, she does! Renee is such a loving lady! Her goal in life is to make others happy! She is a beautiful person inside and out!

That means she likes the cap sleeves & no, not all Christians speak the same way!💕💒
ReplyDeleteI think that is just the uniqueness of her personality. ☺ I'm a Christian and I don't use it in relation to clothes.
ReplyDeleteChristians don't normally talk like that. It's a "Michelle thing".
ReplyDeleteSo you. Know millions of people?
DeleteI am growing tired of watching wedding preparations after wedding preparations...last week was an hour of picking out ties and belts...I think TLC could combine preps, wedding dress day and then finally the wedding....get to some other topics please! Like everyday life for maybe Jana...who does all the chores now...I see a lot of farm animals....show us...tell us...there is more to life!
ReplyDeleteLove watching Kendra's personality. I think Kendra's mother is just beautiful and her father isn't bad looking either...Jane
ReplyDeleteKendra is adorable, but this clip made me think "she looks like a kid prepping for the prom, not a woman prepping for her wedding". I've gotten the same feeling from many of the other pre-wedding clips.
ReplyDeleteI know it's obviously too late to slow things down since they're already married and expecting a baby. But even in the latest clip (about the birth of Baby Forsyth) she looks and acts so, so young.
In that clip, Jim Bob made a comment about "babies having babies" and that's usually NOT something that's meant to be a positive thing, though he likely did. Just because Joy and Kendra are married, doesn't mean they're mature enough to raise kids of their own. I hope they are, though, for the kids' sakes.
Kendra's mother is gorgeous !
