ReplyDeleteHi Lily and Ellie! My friend says congrats to Joy and Austin, Joe and Kendra, and Jinger and Jeremy. I really happy for them, and yes I think Jinger and Jeremy's first bundle of joy will be a boy too. I am hoping it is a girl bc there are only two granddaughters. It would be awesome for Jim Bob and Michelle to have a third granddaughter! Congrats Jinger and Jeremy! Joy and Austin, and Joe and Kendra! I cant wait for the new season of Counting On!
ReplyDeleteToo bad they hardly get any limelight because there's a sister and a brother and who knows who else also expecting, all at the same time. It turns the baby into "Grandbaby Number 12" and that's about it.
ReplyDeleteYeah it was bound to happen though, since there have been more marriages and pregnancies around the same time. More Duggars are at the courting age now too! I'm Happy for all of them.
DeleteActually the show is already going to start in february instead of later this year because of them. Didn‘t happen for the other couples...

DeleteOf course they all want recognition when they're expecting. That's what the chalkboard and the pictures and the videos are about. But Jinger and Jeremy are the last to join the trio who's currently expecting, and this is the 12th time anyone (of their age group) is. There doesn't seem to be much that's personal about it for Jinger and Jeremy. Think about it. Everyone else congratulated them in terms of themselves. Jim Bob and Michelle: Our 12th. Anna and Josh: Join our 5 M kids. Joy and Austin: We go first so you can't steal our name. Jessa and Ben: Come change diapers at our house. All of them made it about themselves, not about Jeremy and Jinger. I think that's unfortunate.

ReplyDeleteIt seems hard for them to believe courtships, engagements, marriages, babies... I think they would benefit from hiring a new speech writer. Or at least go back and watch their old videos, where they've said the very same things before.

DeleteYes, but the two of them personally have never been expecting a baby before, so it is new and different to them. Your comment throws them into the herd mentality instead of seeing them as an individual couple.
DeleteIt's not about it being new to them, it's about all the Duggars saying the same thing every time there's any change in their life. "It's hard to believe..." Why would it be "hard" to believe something you've been expecting to happen your whole life?
DeleteI would agree - even after seeing the baby on ultrasound it‘s hard to believe, there is actually a new life growing inside of you. It‘s so unreal... miraculous... just special. :)

DeleteYes, 6:14, I (6:15) am aware of that. I was responding to the original comment, which I assumed was about Jeremy and Jinger, since that's the content of the post.
DeleteI think they waited so that Jeremy could get settled in his work role and they could be in a financial position to have a house instead of an apt to start to raise a family.

DeleteYou can't stockpile sleep, but you can take good care of yourself by getting enough rest while you can so that you aren't worn out from not getting enough sleep. Unfortunately, those last few weeks of pregnancy it's usually hard to get good quality sleep.

DeleteYes they can. Because they are the Best Parents to their own children. I think my parents were the best, does that mean my kids can't think I am? Or my family can't refer to me that way because I refer to my parents that way?that crown gets passed around.

ReplyDeleteCuz some people can't see the videos the first time, in whatever format they're in. Plus another post fills up time in a blog and generates more clicks.
