Snow has been spotted in South Texas! The forecast for the next week is sunny and warm, but residents were shocked to see a light dusting yesterday and today. Having grown up in Northwest Arkansas, Jinger is a bit more accustomed to snow than her new friends in Texas, but seeing snowflakes fall from the sky is exciting, nonetheless.
Have you had your first snow?

ReplyDeleteI'm in Houston, we got snow too! Wow, what a year Houston has had. Superbowl, Hurricane Harvey(still working on our home :( ), Astros won the World Series, and now Snow! Whew! Can't wait to see what 2018 has in-store of us. Merry Christmas All and God Bless. Much Love!
ReplyDeleteYep! I actually videotaped our first MN snow while at work. My coworker and I had constantly got sidetracked watching the snow "blizzard" outside. This is the first time in 10 years since my siblings along with my mother and I have seen autumn become winter. Hopefully we can get more snow by CHRISTmas.
ReplyDeleteI'm orig from Minn, and now live in ND. It was very odd this year, mild Temps and no snow to really speak of until about Dec 4 or 5th. I'm defiantly used to winters up here. I'll never forget the winter of 96 and spring flood of 97! Blizzards every couple weeks!
DeleteSuper cute picture! We're expecting our first snow tomorrow here in Mass!
ReplyDeleteYou are my favorite Duggar...I love your smile and sweet personality. Thank you for being an inspiration for all young girls.

ReplyDeleteWe had snow here in Spokane in early November. Thanksgiving was warm. I don't like driving on snow and ice.
Delete@5:31. It has been so mild this year. We are in Post Falls! Starting to wonder if we will have a white Christmas or not...
DeleteEllie & Lily I have A question to ask their have been rumors that Jana is courting a family friend name Caleb Williams? IS this true?
ReplyDeleteI have a sneaky suspicion that the new promo for the next season will play on this possible courtship. It will definitely help boost viewers.
DeleteIf it is true, it is Jana's news to tell. So if she tells Lily and Ellie and gives permission to tell us, then we will hear about it, officially, here. Hope for the best.
ReplyDeleteWe're engulfed in flames here in CA. Prayers appreciated for the firefighters and animals, too.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely!!! Many prayers coming your way. So sad and scary. God bless!!!

None yet here in Ohio!
ReplyDeleteNo snow in upstate NY yet, but possibility of 3 to 6 inches tomorrow...and we are making Christmas cookies 😊
ReplyDeleteThis is our first winter in NC (we just moved from FL) and it's been snowing all day!! My kids were sledding with their boogie boards. It's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI can only dream of the snow from my childhood in Ohio! Unfortunately I live in Florida. I'm having a "nightmare" of a hot, sunny Christmas. I HATE florida and I HATE the heat! Hard to leave though when all your kids and grandkids live here too!
ReplyDeleteI lived in FL for 9 years after moving there from NY. I started to despise the heat and FL too. I think it was the change of seasons I missed most. I dont live in FL anymore, but after leaving behind family and friends, I would go back for them and put up with the heat! You have to admit that the beaches are great though and the summer thunderstorms!
DeleteWe'll get our first snow tomorrow, calling for 1 inch here in MD...Jane
ReplyDeleteWe just got our first snow here in NC!!! Yay! This time last year we were in short sleeves! We are trying to get my sister home from college in VA safely!.....;) (BTW, Jinger is soooo adorable!) :P
ReplyDeleteIkr!!!!!!!! She is such a cutie pie omgosh!!!!!!!!<3 Love her outfit too that is so my style:)
Deleteunfortunately, i live in the part of florida that isnt participating in snow
ReplyDeleteNo snow here in Ilinois. I don't want snow on Christmas.
ReplyDeleteWe got 3 to 5 in. It looks very pretty.
ReplyDeleteWoke up to a small bit here in Pensacola Fl!!!!
ReplyDeleteHaving lived where snow is measured in feet, not inches, that amount of snow in the picture is laughable. That's like a heavy frost.
ReplyDeleteIt’s snow. It fell from the sky in flakes. Frost isn’t precipitation.
DeleteTotal accumulation = a frosting!
DeletePants!
ReplyDeletePajamas!
DeleteYou need those pants in the snow.....😬
DeleteWe got 6 inches in resaca ga.. Its our first snow this winter.. Our kids loved it. 😀
ReplyDeleteIt is snowing where we live, and it is really pretty!

ReplyDeleteThat is crazy!!!
DeleteI live in the U.P. of Michigan and we get a lot of snow here!! We already have 12-14 inches of snow! :)
ReplyDeleteHi from Maine we had few inches of snow already,
ReplyDeleteI have never lived anywhere that snows in December. It is usually stinking hot. I have been to the snow a couple of times in winter and live it.
ReplyDeleteJinger is the cutest Duggar, love her and Jeremy. Nothing like a snowfall to bring out a person's fun side, enjoy.
ReplyDeleteYes, today the first snow in The Netherlands!
ReplyDeletePants?????????where is your skirt????????
ReplyDeleteShe does not need a skirt, pants are so much more comfortable!
DeleteThe comfort of pants or a skirt depends on the style. Flannel jammie pants = very comfortable. Soft maxi skirt = very comfortable.
DeleteOops, I should have said it depends on the style and fabric, of course! A straight skirt can be uncomfortable, tight jeans can be uncomfortable, etc.
Delete10:35 agreed, but when it's snowing I say pants all the way! Lol
DeleteWe have had a light dusting here in Vancouver, Canada but nothing significant yet. According to the forecast, we're supposed to get a ton of it this winter.
ReplyDeleteSnow in Ohio!!! YAY! Can't get enough of Jinger in pants. I love it!
ReplyDeleteWe continue to burn it here in CA near Santa Barbara!! More winds forecast for tomorrow & weekend . Pray for rain for us!!
ReplyDeleteAnon I dont know if you will see this since its an old post. I want you to know we are praying. We moved from Santa Barbara last year and know the area well. Stay safe and evacuate if needed.
