Happy Friday! Just realized that we never shared this video message that Kendra's parents, Paul and Christina Caldwell, filmed for Joe and Kendra on their wedding day.
Kendra is the oldest of seven children. Aside from Lauren, the second oldest, Kendra has a little sister, who was her flower girl, and four younger brothers.

How do Kendra's parents look like they are in their twenties when she is in her twenties herself!!
ReplyDeleteProbably genes, healthy lifestyle. I have a friend who is in her late 30s who looks like she is in her late teens. She owes it all to healthy eating, exercise and reducing stress in her life.

DeleteLike they didn't have about a thousand opportunities since she was courting and engaged to say this stuff to her privately? They already had the "Daddy's first look" talk and the "Before I give her away..." talk on camera. Why another video released??
ReplyDeleteIt's OK that they made the video. It's not OK that they think it's worthy of releasing to the public, like it's anyone else's business.
DeleteAll the guests and wedding party members were able to record a message for them at the reception. The real question is why it bothers you sooo much. 😀

ReplyDeleteI'm surprised that neither TCL nor the editors of this blog bothered to introduce us to Kendra's siblings. I would have liked to see a portrait photograph that included Kendra, her parents, and all of her siblings along with the names and ages (of the kids).

DeleteTLC may not have a contract that includes screen time for the Caldwell siblings. There are lots of legal issues when filming minors.

DeleteThey look like normal people in their 30s. My mom had me at 20 yrs old and by the time I was a teen, people called her my sister. I unfortunately was not able to have a child til my late 30s so I do not have that with my child but I am still grateful to have been able to have a child so everyone's life is unique.

DeleteKendra’s parents are not in their 50’s. They were very young when they had Kendra. I think they aren’t even 40 yet.
DeleteKendra turned 19 in August. Her parents are probably late 30's, maybe 40. Not in their fifties.

ReplyDeleteIt is an honor to get to see and hear from Kendra's parents at the wedding. I can see their love, joy, and excitement! What a blessing for Kendra and Joseph to have her parents nearby. Sounds like they are really looking forward to being with them as they spread their wings as a married couple. Both of them looked wonderful in the wedding, and it was so cool to see them on stage with their beloved daughter at this special time. Their love came shining through and Pastor Caldwell did a great job with all his duties. I hope they feature more of Kendra's parents if the show continues.
