ReplyDeleteCourse the Bates & The Duggars are still friends just because they have different TV shows on different networks does not mean they can hang out with each other. The Bates did go to Joyanna Forstyh wedding but they did not appear on TV. Maybe the same for the Duggars for the Bates show. Both good families. Love each other & Support each other.
ReplyDeleteJust think for a few minutes everybody , we don't know every single waking minute of all the Duggers lives ...they could talk to the Bates every day , and go see them every week and we wouldn't have to know about it !

Yes, by all indications I would say these two families are still very close friends. I think it is difficult for some readers of this blog to understand what we see of their lives is seconds of a day. There is so much more to their existence than the glimpses we see.

I agree with you statement that 'there is so much more to their existance than the glimpses we see', however I wish that some of the more zealous fans would also remember that when they are attacking someone for asking a question or disagreeing with something someone says that they don't like. None of us knows everything that happens in anyones life and what goes on behind closed doors including fans!
DeleteYou often see a few of the kids at each others weddings but not the entire clans. It has also been quite a while since we have seen the parents at each others childrens weddings. It will be interesting to see in years to come if any of the younger children develop close friendships with each other,as there doesn't seem to be the same get togethers as before.

DeleteI read either on a blog or here that the two channels have to edit around the family as best they can because of contract issues.

ReplyDeleteMr & Mrs Bates were at Jinger and Jeremy's wedding. They were seated towards the back and you caught a climpse of them when Jinger walked in. Only briefly. There were 2 videos of the wedding and it was only in one of them.
