First Photo of Mason

Mason Garrett Duggar is one day old. In case you missed the announcement, Josh and Anna Duggar's fifth child arrived yesterday, weighing 9lbs, 1oz and measuring 22 inches long. Both Anna and the baby are doing well.

Josh and Anna had their first child just a couple weeks after their one-year wedding anniversary and have since had a baby every other year. Do you think Mason looks like his brothers and sisters? We have included newborn photos below for reference.

    Mason sure is a handsome little fella! Glad to hear it was an uneventful labor and delivery! All of Anna's children are beautiful and I think Mason favors his sisters ❤

    They all look alike! Such treasures! Mason is super adorable! Newborns are so sweet and precious and they are truly one of God's greatest blessings to the world. "Children are an inheritance from the Lord"

      i think the opposite, Marcus looks like Annas dad, this one looks more like a Duggar.Funny how we all see things differently😉

    Thank you for the cute pics of Mason! Ellie can I ask you, may we know if the Keller family in Florida are safe? Also the David and Priscilla Waller family in Texas, are they safe too? I sure hope all are! I also pray for the many families in Texas, Florida, any other places the hurricanes hit!

    Hes another Keller for sure, looks very like Marcus who is very like Annas dad. The Keller genes are very strong with all their kids, except Michael who has a bit more Duggar in him.

    For me He resemble Mack and Marcus. He looks more like Anna than Josh

      You are correct that Josh & Anna's oldest typically is called Kynzie for short. However there is nothing wrong with Mack either. It's a personal choice for the parents and the girl as she gets oldet. I know a young girl who goes by "Mack" short for Mackenzie.

      Newborn babies need to maintain their body heat. Hats and blankets, even thicker ones, are needed.

      I was thinking the same. Wrapping a newborn is normal but bulky knitted hat and blanket seem a bit overboard

      Receiving blankets are never that thick. Hospital newborn hats are soft cotton knit, much thinner. Wonder if "a fan" made that set for them and they felt obligated to use it? It is a bit much.

      I don't think it's receiving blanket. It might have been made by a family member or friend. He's just fine. It's possible it was put on him for the picture. It really doesnt matter.

    Would like to see newborn shots of Josh and Anna as well. Hard to tell from just this photo but when I look at it I see Josh more than Anna.

    I love Anna and Josh's taste in names!!! Every single one of their children have such great names. If I was unsure or wanted advice about the name of my next child, and I knew Anna, I would seek out her advice. Great taste that girl has!! And cute baby genes!! They are seriously blessed with the cutest babies. Congrats!!!

    I pray that Josh steps up to the plate for the long term and does right by his family and causes no more grief for them. Five kids in eight years... It's exhausting just thinking about it! But, to each his/her own.

      Yeah, Marcus doesn't look like any other kid I've seen.
      Kind of, I can see a little Josh in the other kids faces.
