Happy Birthday Meredith!! Such a cutie pie!! The newest pic with her, Spurgeon, and Israel, she looks like Michelle. The same chin and smile. If you put Michelle's hair on her, they would be twins in that pic. How precious and she is lucky to resemble such a beautiful lady!
I know a family who had 7 kids in 14 years. That crib stayed up the whole time and as soon as a new baby came along, someone else "graduated" to a bigger bed. Can you imagine keeping a crib up in your house for a total of 16 years straight?
Such a beautiful little one. I watched as your brave mom delivered you. You have so many people to hold you, play with you and most of all, to love you.
It's not "meanness" to report the timeline in which this child was born, and to clear up the misconception that her birth was televised. The fact that it happened when it did in the Duggar timeline cannot be changed. I thought the fans had forgiven all that??? Yet it can't be talked about now? Please don't look for reasons to be mad.
Anon @ 9:39 Thank you for your sensible post. No meaness was meant by my post (1:47) as you say just pointing out the timeline, some fans are hyper sensitive!
Why do you let comments like 10:01's go through, where one poster yells at another? It's not nice, and you should know it. It violates your own posting rules, too.
12:37 PM -- I wonder the same thing. Different opinions are great, but why are commenters are allowed to reprimand other commenters? Telling someone else, "Just stop it!" is really overstepping boundaries, and I'm not sure why it's allowed.
Hard to believe this cutie is already 2! Happy Birthday sweet girl and God bless!! If all of us fans find it hard to believe Meredith is already two I bet Josh and Anna really feel time is flying. God bless this entire family.
She looks like Jordyn. Anna dresses all her children beautifully. Does anyone know why Michelle and Jim Bob dressed their children in such an old-fashioned way when they were small?
I recall they shopped thrift stores and they tend to carry older clothing. They also tried to dress their kids in one color, like all the boys in khakis and red polo shirts and the girls in modest dresses. They sewed a lot of the girls dresses originally and used the same matching materials, like the Bateses did when we first met them. The goal was to show off their face (countenance) and not to bring attention to the rest of the body or clothing fads.
Thanks for leaving your comments! We answer as many of your questions as we can, but due to the number of comments we receive daily, we are unable to answer every one. Our aim is to post all points of view, but we do not post anything that is profane, insulting, derogatory, or in poor taste.

ReplyDeleteMy middle son is three and still sleeps in a crib. There's nothing wrong with it!

ReplyDeleteMeridiths birth was never televised as she was born in the midst of her fathers first scandal. 19 kids was cancelled shortly after she was born.
DeleteMaybe 1:23 knows the family personally
Deleteeven a child's 2nd birthday wishes are turned into meanness - how dare you use this child's birthday to bring up a long ago scandal?! just stop!
