Duggar PDA

What did you think of last night's episode? Did you enjoy learning more about the older Duggar siblings and watching them interact? In this clip, the siblings poke fun at each other, as they discuss Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo's honeymoon and Duggar PDA.

  1. Their PDAs are over the top. Seems they are always showing off. Who cares to watch them put on a show?

    1. I know..Jinger and Jeremy really needed to tone it down. That chef looked like she was ready to hit them with that spoon!

    2. Jeremy's a church pastor. Not sure that PDA is appropriate for his position.

    3. Of course, pda is appropriate for Jeremy's position. He is married and can set a wonderful example of how to love your wife. There is nothing wrong with being affectionate with your spouse.

  2. Loved it!!!! Great, great show. The interviewer was awesome at getting some surprising responses out of everybody. Josiah, John-David, Jeremy and Austin are all sooooo funny.

  3. There's wasn't one mention of God in the episode. Such a far cry from how they started out. God seems to have taken a back seat in their show.

    1. I've noticed that too. When "19 Kids" was on, that was the main theme (albeit true!) Of the show

    2. Agree...they need to watch because not many reality shows make it and the stars end up in trouble when stardom gets to their heads

    3. This is the saddest part of all. We know TLC wants no mention of God but the Duggars are going along with it. The focus has turned to them personally. We should be pointing people away from ourselves and to God.

    4. Ben mentioned how he had to turn to God during his and Jessa's courtship.

    5. I'm meaning the Duggars themselves. They started this show partly based on their love and faith in God. When I say 'mention' I don't mean just His name God and that's it, but talking ABOUT Him, just like they used to do. Sorry I HAD to clarify.

  4. Who was it who said last night that they were happy they could sit on each others' laps now that they were married? Joy & Austin? I thought that was so strange, and so "junior high crush." In 45 years, I've never once sat on my husband's lap! That can't be comfy for either party.

    1. 😇😇😇😇 it's actually rather comfy maybe give it a try 😂😂😂😂😂

    2. To each his own. I'm 40 years old and my husband pulls me onto his lap on the sofa in a playful gentle way. We are ok expressing our love. If you aren't that's ok, but many of us are :)

    3. In 42 yrs, I've sat on my hubby's lap, only at home and it was just the two of us. Your right it's not very comfy. Not fans of PDA....Jane

    4. Tons of people sit on their significant others' laps ... I can tell you it is quite comfy both ways.

    5. Maybe if they're in high school they do.

    6. Anon 11:44, your husband sounds so sweet, that's wonderful and may he keep doing that for decades to come even when you both are old!

    7. Holding hands and having a hand a the center of your back is great and affectionate in public. What I find inappropriate is behaving like you need a room. I've seen that from Jill and Derrick on the show and it's very distracting and childish.
There are people however that like to watch behavior which is another good reason not too.
That's not setting an example for others to express commitment of faith or to each other.

    8. Have nothing against sitting on your spouses nap, but I would not do that in front of others or kissing.

  5. Wow! Didn't know Joy-Anna could be so harsh. And Jessa.. a little defensive about showing the least PDA?? These siblings don't tease each other well.

    1. It kind of just shows that they are not perfect, and that they respond like the rest of us do. They can be kind of sassy too. My sister and I tease each other like they do. I thought it was all in good fun and that nothing out of place was said. I agree with Jessa, I have five little ones and my husband and I don't show alot of public affection but it doesn't mean we don't love each other.

    2. They seem competitive

    3. I wonder if they had an all out shouting match when they were younger? I'm sure it wouldn't have made the final show if they did. Michelle rarely raised her voice either. The passive aggressive is strong tho!

  6. I thought last night's episode was boring. The questions were so boring. There's so much going on in the Duggar family & they're such a wonderful family-I prefer footage of the family. The questions and topics weren't very good.

  7. I think they should have been asked what is the thing about their spouse they are most thankful for!!

    9. Could you please answer my question about what is PDA.

      Delete
    10. I did!!! Example: kissing and holding hands when people can see you...as in the public.

  10. Why didn't we see a lot of things they said they would talk about like Joe and Kendra's engagement, we didn't see the question what is the weirdest place you've had bible study...

That was so fun to watch especially the newlywed game

  11. I don't understand... if Austin and Joy were only married for 20 something days here how is it that they spent their one month anniversary in Israel? They came back home and then left again?

    1. That was neither the time nor the place to be grabbing your wife, so I'm glad the chef told them to put it on ice! Not glad they didn't listen to her and had to be told again. That was not very respectful of what she was trying to do for them.

      Delete
    2. She was getting paid for showing them how to cook not how to act. They were acting completely appropriate for someone just married. It would be strange to be on their honeymoon and not be affectionate either each other.

      Delete
    3. The behavior in a small kitchen area surrounding extremely hot Grill's wasn't a smart place to be.
Any other time a couple would pay for the training and light hearted learned.

  17. Does anyone else get a weird vibe from Jessa and Ben? For a couple that has been married for 2 years with 2 kids, they don't seem that comfortable or happy together. It seems like Jessa can't be her usual straightforward self around Ben. He seems to take things too seriously, and any time Jessa teases him, she backs it up with a reassurance that she's just teasing and he's great. It's uncomfortable

    1. Jessa is older than Ben by a few years, right? She always seems like she's his bossy or teasing older sister, not his wife. At least that's the vibe I get.

      Delete
    2. Yes, that's it, she's still acting like an older sister, the only thing she knew how to be before getting married. I think she wears the pants in the family, figuratively speaking.

  18. Again with the relationships. Jana and John aren't courting so maybe they can change up the topic a little so the singles can have a chance to talk about what they are doing??

  22. I wonder why they are all in such a hurry to get married and have children. Do any of them want to do something else with their lives? Without the tv show how can they support themselves?
