That is such a cute picture!
ReplyDeleteElli, I keep checking to see when the new season of Counting On starts. Do you know? Thanks, Barb
ReplyDeleteJune 12th. :)
DeleteLily and Ellie
Yay!!! So excited!! Just hoping Australia doesn't lag too late behind 😳 TG🇦🇺
DeleteColorado Mountains!!
ReplyDeleteI agree. I was just there last week it and looks just like that type of weather. Definitely either there, Hawaii, or somewhere out of country.
DeleteColorado Springs ( Pikes Peak)
ReplyDeleteThat's what I think!
DeleteI also think they went to Colorado (Pike's Peak)!!!
DeleteHawaii
ReplyDeleteWHAT?!!
DeleteHawaii has some extremely high and cold mountains (volcanic peaks). It's not all palm trees and beaches. There's an observatory on Mauna Kea at almost 14,000 ft. above sea level. It snows there.
DeleteHawaii has mountains (volcanoes) that do get snow on their peaks.
DeleteJoy Anna looks so happy!! I hope they have a great time...where ever they are ;)
ReplyDeleteYellowstone
ReplyDeleteSomewhere outdoorsy 😂
ReplyDeleteI hope wherever they went, they are enjoying their time together.
ReplyDeleteI hope they're having a happy honeymoon, just the two of them, making memories and enjoying new adventures together.
ReplyDeleteAlaska
ReplyDeleteI agree!
DeleteNot Alaska. The video showed ponderosa pine trees behind them, which are not found in Alaska (but are prevalent in Colorado). In Alaska there would also be a lot more snow on the mountaintops at this time of year.
DeleteI think they went to the Smokie Mountains because they both love the outdoors and it's not that far from home.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely not the smoky mountains. Too much snow for this time of year.
DeleteThose mountains are too craggy and snowy to be the Smokies now. Maybe Colorado?
DeleteSmokie Mountains?
ReplyDeleteSmokies are in Tennessee. I'm from Knoxville. It doesn't look like the Smokies to me but I could be wrong.
DeleteIm from Knoxville also, and I agree, doesn't look like the smokey mountains. I would guess Colorado
DeleteColorado Springs
ReplyDeleteI want to say maybe Pikes Peak but I'm not sure. They look very happy together.😊
ReplyDeleteI just live the new couple. Blessings on your new life together!! I guess the Pacific Northwest..Canada? Seattle?
ReplyDeleteBuffalo bills grave in Colorado
ReplyDeletePike's Peak.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the west coast of the USA or Hawaii. I think I see water in the distance. Where ever exactly, there is no doubt that this is a mountain top experience in their life together!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely somewhere in Colorado. Looks like Rocky Mountain National Park
ReplyDeleteI see I'm not the only one who immediately thought, Wow, that looks like Colorado - and Colorado Springs! Wherever they are, I hope they are having a marvelous time.
ReplyDeleteLong's Peak Colorado, right?
ReplyDeleteColorado!
ReplyDeleteI am so happy for both of you! I can't believe Joy-Anna is already married!
ReplyDeleteAlaska!
ReplyDeleteOregon?
ReplyDeleteHawaii?????
ReplyDeleteSouth Dakota or They could be at Austin parents campsite.
ReplyDeleteSnow???
DeleteColorado Mountains (Pikes Peak)
ReplyDeleteLooks amazing, wherever it is!
ReplyDeleteSmokey mountains!!! Tennessee
ReplyDeleteColorado?
ReplyDeleteYellowstone National State Park, Montana!
ReplyDeleteRocky mountains
ReplyDeleteColorado
ReplyDeleteAlps?
ReplyDeleteI've been to the Alps in June. Not enough dark granite to be the Alps, nor more Alpine peaks in the background. The Alps go on and on once you're that high up. That looks like sandstone somewhere in the Rockies.
DeleteGuess you were wrong since we've now learned that they're in Switzerland!
DeleteYellowstone or Colorado
ReplyDeleteNot sure where they are but sure can tell they are happy! Great picture of them!
ReplyDeleteThe Rocky Mountains? Maybe Rocky Mountain National Park.
ReplyDeleteI was going to say Banff but there isn't enough snow.
ReplyDeleteColorado!! He's wearing a hoodie. =)
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering from photograph Pikes peak, Colorado??
ReplyDeleteThis pic is on top of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park, Maine!!
ReplyDeleteCarol from Texas 💕
I second that!
DeleteAustin looks so much more relaxed!
ReplyDeleteMaybe Austria or Switerland
ReplyDeleteI wonder if this is the type of honeymoon Joy really wanted, seems more up Austins street? They did camping for bachelor/ette parties, and she didn't seem too thrilled with that, hope for her sake they are staying in some nice places, and not just roughing it all the time. Heard they were spied in Colorado.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure Joy likes "roughing it"
DeleteYou can stay at some very nice resorts or cabins in most National Parks. They wouldn't have to tent.
DeleteWhy not? He asked for courtship sitting somewhere called "The Rock" saying it was their spot... May be they both enjoy it!
DeleteI think Austins the one who really enjoys it not Joy. Maybe its a novelty at the moment, but it will loose its shine for her very quickly, especially if she doesn't enjoy it too.
DeleteWhat a Awesome place this is, I hope you guys are having the best time ever.
ReplyDeleteCanadian Rockies
ReplyDeleteColorado Mountains
ReplyDeleteCanadian Rockies. My husband and I went there last year for our 20th. Looks familiar.
ReplyDeleteNot canada, I seriously doubt these two have left the country.
DeleteI think that Joy and Austin are choosing a roadtrip instead of going overseas
DeleteI hope that they have not come to Canada. The Federal park systems are free this year, as part of our 150th anniversary. It is very difficult to get a reservation. And reservations should go to tax paying Canadians.
Delete9:34 AM - You're not very neighborly, are you?
DeleteI think 9:34 is perfectly neighborly. More neighborly than the US is to Mexico right now.
Delete@3:56- eye roll!!! We're talking about Americans vacationing in a Canadian National Park. Hardly the same as Mexicans coming to stay in the US illegally...
DeleteThankfully most of us who are proud Canadians do not have the same attitude as 9:34. We love to share our beautiful country with all.
Delete@sunnysideup
DeleteAgreed! :-)
New Zealand
ReplyDeletePiles Peak! I was there this weekend! If only I could have congratulated them.
ReplyDeleteUtah?
ReplyDeleteMontana
ReplyDeleteAlaska?
ReplyDeleteDefinitely somewhere cold with that snow on the mountain. Somewhere in Canada? Or maybe New Zealand?
ReplyDeleteSomewhere in Canada? Huh? You realize that it is summer in Canada, right.
DeleteVery high mountains normally have snow on their peaks, even if they are in northern part of the US.
'Very high mountains' in Canada have snow on their peaks too.
Delete@Anon 9:21 It's not summer here in Canada and yes, we have snow on some mountains ;)
Delete@4:52 .. Of COURSE, Canadian has the Rockies, for example, and their peaks would have snow on them. But Robyn assumed, that because there is now, it must be Canada. I was pointing out snow does not automatically mean it is in Canada.
DeleteI seriously doubt that they went all the way to BC or Alberta or the Yukon to go camping. The other mountainous regions are not high enough to have no snow in June.
Considering I have a selfie from almost the very same spot, I'd say they are in Colorado.
ReplyDeleteHe, he...Maybe not? They're in Switzerland.
Deletelooks like Pikes Peak in Colorado!
ReplyDeleteIf they wanted outdoors and mountains, they should have climbed Mt. Everest. It puts you closer to heaven.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Alaska?? Great place for outdoors lovers!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing Mars. It's lovely this time of year. And TLC would probably have paid, if allowed to follow and film.
ReplyDeleteLol, yes, definitely!
DeleteMy goodness! You're right...it looks just like it did when I visited last year! ;)
DeleteAll those red rocks are a dead giveaway! First Duggar in space. :)
DeleteWe live in Colorado really close to Rocky Mountain National Park and it looks familiar. :) But also think it could be Alaska or Montana maybe???
ReplyDeleteThe look on Joy's face says, "This is for the rest of my life!"
ReplyDeleteYes her look does say happy ever after!
Delete"I finally got to go somewhere without my family!!!" is what I'm reading in the look.
DeletePikes Peak!!! Right in my backyard!
ReplyDeleteI say Norway.Denmark,Sweden,Switzerland or the like...can't wait to find out, they look so in love😍Happy for them...I hope Joseph has a short engagement like the rest, then maybe we will be blessed with two weddings his season🤗
ReplyDeleteThis looks NOTHING like Denmark FYI.
DeleteMy mom and I guessed Yellowstone.
ReplyDeleteUtah? Colorado? Arizona? Montana? Zimbabwe? lol
ReplyDeletePikes Peak in Colorado Springs. It looks like one of the pictures that my husband and I took when we visit. Jane
ReplyDeleteRockies in Colorado
ReplyDeleteLooks like the top of Pikes Peak to me, so Colorado.
ReplyDeleteIt couldn't be anywere oversea's because she would need a passport with her new name on it and it take a while to get it. And it can't be Canada because you need a passport for Canada too.
ReplyDeleteWhat? Both Jessa and Jinger went on their their international honeymoons the week of the wedding and that would of been way before offcial name change etc.
DeleteSo according to your theory, Jessa and Ben didn't really go to Europe and Jinger and Jeremy didn't really go to Australia?
DeleteJinger and Jeremy went to Australia for their honeymoon without problem!?
DeleteThey could have booked in her maiden name so she wouldn't need a new passport
DeleteSo newlyweds never honeymoon overseas???
DeleteSeriously people, you book tickets in maiden name and use your old passport until after the honeymoon and when your offial wedding cert comes etc then you change your name and passport etc. You arnt officially name changed the day of your wedding.. Mine was a month later I think
DeleteGrand Canyon!
ReplyDelete-Sarah
Looks like Pike's Peak in Colorado Springs!
ReplyDeleteLooks like Pike's Peak in Colorado Springs! Figured they would explore the outdoors!
ReplyDeleteI would say Pikes Peak too :) live Colorado Mountains. I don't live in a mountain state so when I visited there and Tennesee I was so excited to see mountains
ReplyDeleteIt looks like the coast of Maine to me.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely not the Smokey Mountains... there's no snow in June
ReplyDeleteShe doesn't need a new passport with her new name on it. When I left for my honeymoon overseas the day after my wedding, I used my passport with my maiden name on it. Plane tickets were booked with my maiden name. It takes a while to change documents after getting married.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't it be great if women just stopped changing their names altogether.
DeleteEither way is better than the hyphen.
DeleteAnon @ 4:28. There is no legal requirement to change your name on marriage. Many professional people don't, I work with several doctors who kept their maiden names. I suppose its such an ingrained tradition that it will take a long time for it to change.
Delete4:28. No it wouldn't be 'great if women just stopped changing their names altogether.' What would be great would be if a women could keep or change her name and a man could keep or change his name according to their decision, and not have your attitude of 'everyone should do what I think' imposed on them.
DeleteThe name issue can get confusing though, when the parent's last name differs from the child's last name. In my extended family, thanks to several divorces and remarriages, my MIL, my husband, his brother all three have different last names. Sometimes that creates awkward situations and assumptions by others. It's particularly embarrassing when the children are early elementary, aware that others share their parents' last names, and have to keep repeatedly explaining why they don't to teachers, classmates, etc. It's the same in the high school years, when they're already just wanting to blend in/fit in- anything that makes you stand out in a "weird" way isn't so cool then.
DeleteSo, then how did Jinger get an instant passport with HER new name on it for her honeymoon in Australia?
ReplyDeleteIt must be great to spend you honeymoon in heavy pants and a fur parka...
it is yellowstone. and no it is not manie i was there and there is no snow on cadllic mountain right now?
ReplyDeleteNorway
ReplyDeleteJessa would have needed a passport instantly for Italy and France too. She went out of the country and so did Jinger.
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid in marrying outdoorsy Austin, Joy can no longer count on indoor plumbing every day. No way for a woman to live, IMO. (This is just my opinion.)
I asked this before and never received a response, is there a way to watch Counting On if you do not have cable tv? I know that Netflix (or one of those services) has a few old episodes but I would like to see the new season.
ReplyDeleteHi cyn,
DeleteYou can purchase the episodes individually or by season on Amazon and iTunes.
Lily and Ellie
I just watched the Forsyth family on Amazon. Yes, they have rules, but they are very caring and supporting of their children. Joy will be loved and experience an open relationship in this family.

ReplyDeleteThey went to Switzerland they said it on the new video on the sugar family blog
