Exclusive Duggar Wedding Photo

      They've been saying for a few months that they've been doing wedding plans, I'm not sure why you would think they'd elope. I also think her hair looks gorgeous.

      None of the Duggar girls fixed their hair up for their wedding except Jinger. Others looked like they do on any ordinary day.

      Her hair - maybe that's why I was struck with the thought that she didn't really look bride-y when I saw the wedding picture. The dress didn't really look like her either. Oh, well, her choice, and it's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. I am excited to see the wedding in just a few weeks!

      the article did state joseph proposed with their approval. giving that the 2 couples have been seen together a lot, it doesnt surprise me at all. in fact, i'm sure joy-anna would feel it's a special memory that they got to share, and not stealing her thunder

      I agree, even if permission was asked it is still a big no no, couldn't Joy have just one day that was exclusively hers? If I was Kendra I would have been mortified and disappointed to not have my own special moment.

      I feel bad for Kendra that she didn't get her own personal proposal planned just for her. Instead her fiance uses his sisters wedding to propose. Brings a whole new meaning to buy used save the difference, use someone elses wedding as the backdrop, save on filming a proposal episode!

      In the first place, it's a very presumptuous thing to do even if asking permission. Certainly, the bride and groom would feel pressure to say yes.

      Maybe Joseph thought this would be one way to make sure Kendra would be surprised, since her attention would be all on the wedding day and not expecting a proposal that day? Who knows why he picked it, but JoyAnna doesn't strike me as self-centered in the least. I can just hear her saying, "Sure! Go for it!"

      Agreed.. joy and Austin may have been put on the spot and felt they couldn't have said no. Some other adult needed to make sure this didn't happen. I sincerely hope TLC is not driving this short courtships, shorter engagements then weddings scenario.
