Jill and Derick Dillard returned to Central America last week after a six-month stay in Arkansas, but before boarding the airplane, they did something that might surprise you.
Towards the end of 2015, Derick began growing his hair out and kept it long for more than a year, as fans expressed varying opinions on his new style.
Well, the soon-to-be-28-year-old decided it was time to trim his long locks. His lovely wife, Jill Dillard, did the honors.
As you can see, Derick's hair had become quite long.
During the haircut, Jill and Derick enjoyed experimenting with different styles.

She is glowing! I do like the shorter hair style more, but i didnt think the long was bad either.

DeleteMaybe this was for the next season of Counting On 6:13 pm. So what! I'm sure most fans want to see it. If it wasn't shown, people would complain by saying, "When did Derick cut his hair? Who cut it? Why didn't TLC show him getting a haircut?" See my point? Hopefully it will be on the show sooner or later. I'd like to see it!

Overall, it is his (or their) choice - so I hope they can ignore our opinions as they will differ all the time. (And he can always grow it back if he (or they) want to.) ReplyDeleteEither way looks good on him. I prefer longer hair if it's styled nicely. The one thing that I don't care for are the men leaving a 5 o'clock shadow all of the time. It makes them look like they are to lazy to shave. Don't get me wrong I do like mustaches and beards and again if they are styled. It's the stubble that I don't care for...

From my own experience of losing a baby while pregnant this comment 6:03 am made me see how Jill may have another large baby and her pregnancy might not be simple. She should keep close to emergency care. If it is not there she should stay here. Maybe Derick does not realize Jill's pregnancies might be categorized in the outlier categories of a bell curve. And he is taking her to outlying areas away from immediate help.
