Recap Coming Soon

Since starting our blog almost seven years ago, we have been able to share recaps immediately after each show airs for all but a handful of episodes. Last week we were on vacation, and technical difficulties prevented us from posting our recap. This evening, I (Ellie) have a work dinner with my husband, so the recap will again be delayed.

Sorry about that! I assure you that this won't become the norm. Feel free to share your thoughts on tonight's episode via the comments section. :)

  4. No worry at all Ellie. You are a busy lady and you certainly have things to do outside of the blogs. We all understand and can wait. Have a lovely dinner with your husband!

  6. Forget the Duggars...give Grandma Vuolo her own show. She was the most interesting person of this entire season.

    1. I enjoyed Grandma V. So nice to see a woman on this show who is free to do and say whatever she wants. Quite a refreshing contrast. She was wonderful. See, you don't need to live a life with rigid rules about dress or behavior. Things can be fine without all that added on.

    1. It felt real because Jeremy's grandmother is "real" and had no need to act any differently for the camera, or put up a facade, or watch what she said. We need more women like that on TV. There's your role model, and she's not even a Duggar.

  10. Nice episode. I especially enjoyed Jeremy grandmother. Jinger will learn much from her.
I am certain Jinger had a wishful hope the question would be popped.
    Congratulations again on the engagement.

  11. Lily and Ellie should be commended for their willingness to post diverse comments and not just those that are praising of the Duggars. Although there is a certain amount of pettiness, many come here who have legitimate questions or have thought-provoking observations that should not be dismissed as hateful or judgmental. There can be no denying that countless people, who started out as fans and admirers of the family, have become thoroughly disillusioned for many reasons.
For years, the Duggars have represented themselves as a wholesome Christian family whose mission is to provide a "testimony" to the world. To put it simply, it is their goal to convert others to their religious ideology. In the process, they have used the media for financial gain and have asked for donations to support their ministry. Any group or organization that operates under these circumstances, as well as those who support them, should be looked at with healthy skepticism and be open for meaningful discussion.
    Thank you, Lily and Ellie

    1. I enjoy a discussion with all viewpoints allowed. And I agree with the facts you brought up, 6:17am. We all have enough perspective on this show now not to be lulled into believing everything they air. We've seen things going on with this family that were never meant to be shown.

  12. The fans of this site should totally understand...you do this for us, you keep us informed with the truth and it's a safe site to visit, especially for kids...knowone has the right to complain as far as I'm concerned. Thanks for working very hard for us.Remember folks when the show was cancelled...it was this site that kept us connected to the Duggars, we didn't lose them completely, we were kept in the loop. Some people don't realize that there is more to offer on your blog then just the comments...I watch old videos or snag a recipe here and there...check out the whole blog folks. Thanks again Lily and Ellie, you're too sweet😇👩😇👧

  13. I loved the Counting On show Tuesday night. I love watching Jinger and Jeremy. Jinger is so cute, she acts like she can't wait to get her hands on him. Which I quess is the norm when you are courting. After a few years of marriage, they will settle down. They will feel like an old married couple. Ha! Ha! I love watching the Duggar family learn and grow with God in their lives. I love seeing pictures and reading about them on the blog. Thank-you so much Ellie and Lily.

  14. Why is this site "for kids"? Their TV show isn't listed as children's entertainment and this family more often than not, talks about intimacy and personal married things that children should NOT be subject to. I don't get it. Please explain.

    1. Come on, compared to twitter,Instagram,Facebook, snapchat, this site is monitored for the trashy comments, and if you can tell by the majority of the comments you can certainly tell by their words that they are young ones posting here.Believe it or not families sit down and watch the Duggars, compare it to the other shows out there that are so tasteless. So I would venture to say that this site would be a safer bet to have your kids visit.I guess I didn't clarify what age mine were, teenagers if u must know.Hope that gave u some insight.
