Another day, another Counting On webisode! On next week's all-new episode, Christian hip hop artist FLAME and his wife, Crystal, visit the Seewalds in Northwest Arkansas (video below).
"[We] have a lot in common as far as our faith goes," shares Ben Seewald, "And yet, the backgrounds that FLAME and Crystal came from are very different than the backgrounds that [Jessa and I] came from."

I remember that the Duggar children grew up listening to only tradional gospel hymns. I wonder if Jill and Jessa listen to contemporary christian music now since they are married, and if so, were they uncomfortable with the change or what? It would be interesting to learn what type music they listen to now. I've never heard of Flame, I don't really like rap, but I will listen to a few of Toby Mac's songs.
ReplyDeleteCould have sworn we saw Ben cooking chicken on the grill for the family before. Yet that was a brand new, unused grill? Do they use disposable grills as well as disposable dishes?
ReplyDeleteLOL - disposable grills! Guess they couldn't find any to buy used.
DeleteI thought the Duggar's only gave side hugs to people they are not married to? The Duggars seem to be really changing.
ReplyDeleteThey are flexible depending on the people they meet. There's nothing wrong with a frontal hug. Maybe they wouldn't go for it if it was their choice, but they are intelligent enough to not mind if they meet a friend who has different habits.
DeleteThe poster is not saying there's anything wrong with frontal hugs it's that the Duggars have ALWAYS told the viewers they do not do front hugs but side only. AND they have never said they were flexible about it.
DeleteI doubt they are really friends with this guy. How much is tlc paying him to make the show more entertaining. The guy is twice the age as Ben and Jesse so I doubt they were friends for more than a 5 years. Tic is just hanging on to this show by a thread. Too should just invest in making them their own online shows so it saves them money and film.
ReplyDeleteOf course they weren't friend for more than 5 years: maybe for 1 or so...
DeleteI find Ben Seewald so refreshing and he and Jessa have such a ministry together! God is bringing people like Flame to fan the flames in Ben's life. I love this precious young family!!! God bless you as you follow His call!!
ReplyDeleteit's not just FLAME, it is his wife also. She should get mentioned too.
ReplyDeleteShe is mentioned too!:)
DeleteI wonder if they have K-LOVE in their area, the nationwide christian contemporary station, and if they are listeners.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad they are attracted to diversity. It's a great way to grow and become more open to differences.
ReplyDeleteI agree.
DeleteI'll be fast forwarding through this show, if I even watch at all. Yawn.
ReplyDeleteI just fast forwarded through you comment 😴
