Hope you have a wonderful birthday Jeremy. I wish your every day to be filled with lots of love, laughter, and happiness.
ReplyDeleteI just can't believe how much older he is than she. As a parent I would be a little worried about his age and his past.
ReplyDeleteMy husband is five years older than I am, and I have always considered that to be a blessing. He was already established in life and ministry before we met. Blessings to Jeremy and Jinger!
DeleteMy husband was born in December 1968... I was born September 1979... We have 6 children and married 17 yrs and counting!
DeleteWell that's depressing. My husband has a rough past and is older than me and we have the best marriage I could ever imagine. Jesus did not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
DeleteIt's only 7 years. It would be an issue if he was 15 years older because he would be 80 when she was 65 and could complicate things as most 80 year olds have a different lifestyle than someone in their mid 60's. Honestly, 7 years is no big deal. And if they are okay with his past, it's really none of your concern.
DeleteWhy would you worry. He's a few years older.has seen the world, knows , knows what he wants out of life. What's wrong with that? As for his past? It's assumption-have you asked the man personally or ( horrors) are you just judging?
DeleteReally? It's like 6 years and some change. Not a big deal. It's just a number anyway. And the past is the past. I think most people have one.
DeleteHe's only 6 years older. When you're both adults it's not that much. Sure, she's lived a pretty secluded life, but come on, he's a pastor!
DeleteWhat's wrong with his past?
DeleteJinger will be 23 this year. He is only 6 years older. They're both adults, so there is nothing wrong with that age difference!
DeleteSix years is nothing. My parents are 10 years apart from each other, and I don't see a problem. #RespectfulComment.
Delete6 years difference? Why does that worry you? That's not an uncommon age difference.
DeleteI agree that there could be things from his past (things that were disclosed) that might pop up to haunt this marriage.
DeleteAge is all relative once you enter adulthood. When I was a teen I dated a guy 5 years older than me and everyone made a big deal about it but now I know him and it's funny -it's like we are the same age. 40/45 is nothing!!! I've known immature forty year olds and super mature twenty year olds -I'm in my late forties and my husband is a year younger than me which doesn't matter but still age is just a number is my point -it's more about maturity and compatibility and LOVE once you're both adults! I think that age difference is great!!! I wish them nothing but love and happiness always.
DeleteSometimes u just have to take some of these comments with a grain of salt, and chuckle at their idiosyncrasies.🕇😉
DeleteAs a mother of a daughter, I would be thrilled with his PRESENT, which is in Christ.
DeleteWhat about his past? He had experiences. He learned lessons. He chose a different path. I think after going through it all, he will enter marriage with more wisdom than Ben or Derrick, or any Duggar kid. I think Jinger made a good choice.
DeleteMy parents are 12 years apart.
DeleteHappy Birthday Jeremy have a very nice day.
ReplyDeleteThere's absolutely nothing wrong with their age difference or his past!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Jeremy.... so happy for you and Jinger.......
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday
ReplyDeleteI think it's great that they're getting married. What a perfect way to get to know someone!
ReplyDeleteHa! I love that.
DeleteYes! That's a good one! :)
DeleteAge is just a number
ReplyDeleteAge is just a number. They have there faith in God he will guide them
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Jeremy.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Jeremy!
ReplyDeleteSeriously? He is a Christian, a pastor.. 6 years is nothing.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday Jeremy. God Bless your special day in this season of your life
ReplyDeleteAge makes no difference when you're in love! You are only one of the few negative people always looking for something wrong. Believe me, Jim Bob would never give HIS blessing if Jeremy was not appropriate for Jinger!
ReplyDeleteHe really isn't that much older. However, he isn't the sheltered innocent guy that JB is used to.
ReplyDeleteWhich is nice.
DeleteJim Bob wasn't sheltered! He and Michele KISSSED before marriage. I would say he was totally a man of the world. ;)
DeleteSix years in age is nothing. Marriage is work, work and more work. I've come to the conclusion that you are going to say, it's hard to live with anybody in your house or it's easy to get along with anybody in your house. It's entirely up to you.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a nice birthday. Wishing you a year of blessings.
ReplyDeleteHAPPY Belated BIRTHDAY JEREMY
