In this promo video of tonight's show, Jessa and Ben Seewald and a handful of the Duggar siblings reunite with Derick Dillard at the airport in Central America. Derick is thrilled to hold his nephew Spurgeon Seewald for the first time.
"The drive to meet up with Jill and Izzy seemed like it was really long because there was so much anticipation not having seen them for so long," shares Jessa.
How do cousins Israel and Spurgeon react when they meet for the first time? Find out on Jill & Jessa: Counting On, "Family Reunion," tonight at 9pm ET/8pm CT on TLC.

He's such a cutie.
ReplyDeleteBoy, Derick's starting to look like Grizzly Adams.
ReplyDeleteThis is meant to be polite. Derick's beard has officially over taken his face! Please Jill have your husband clean up his beard! There are several reasons to do this... 1. Sanitation reasons, food can get caught in it. 2. It takes a way from his face. 3. It honestly is getting hard to see him, pretty soon we won't be able to see even his eyeballs!
DeleteA pity
DeleteLove watching the show. Such a great inspirational family. Continue to make Jesus proud!
ReplyDeleteHe looks like Israel but I know hes not bc Derick didnt have that look when Israel was that age
ReplyDeleteDerrick...please shave!
ReplyDeleteOn one episode Derick really bounced Izzy. Jill should teach him about shaken baby syndrome. I think his idea of being manly with the boy babies is too bold. Spurgeon looked a bit surprised and insecure at first. Other than Derick being like that the episode looks interesting.
ReplyDeleteSure hope that baby seat was strapped in properly.
ReplyDeleteMore like Uncle Tickle Beard!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry really but Derick is looking beyond scraggy. He's not in the wilderness. Does the
ReplyDeleteMinistry he represents not have a code to dress by.? I'm not saying spit spot but his look is off putting so I wonder how the people who live there perceive him.
Cute can't it for Spurgeon to see is cousin.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome experience this family has to be able to visit family members in other countries, and to immerse in the culture. They don't just do the touristy things, but experience the lives and the lifestyles of the people. We learn from their experience. I am grateful that TLC chose to be part of the adult children's lives after the tough experiencs of the past year. Thanks be to God for all!
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if Jinger is in a courtship with Lawson Bates. I have seen many hints and rumors and would like to know if this is true.
ReplyDeleteThis was NO FAMILY REUNION! It was yet another re-cap show! AGHHH! Very cheap TLC..the last 2 minutes w/credits running was the title of the episode! So painfully boring to hear them repeat themselves over and over w/the same responses- I'm sure those young ladies are more than the content of their scripted episodes! Hopefully they will close this tv chapter & in 7 yrs share what God has done for them, thru them & around them! Now that's interesting TV! Thanks Lily & Ellie- I will continue to follow your blog!
ReplyDeleteSo glad Spurgeon and Israel have gotten to see each other and videos made for them to grow up with! Love this beautiful Duggar family.
ReplyDeleteMan, Derrick sure needs a hair cut!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteDerick has transformed into Jungle man! :)
ReplyDeleteIs that a new photo of spurgeon on the header?
ReplyDeleteis there not a recap?
ReplyDeleteBen's hat! Awesome!
ReplyDeleteWatched and wonder why Derick thinks missionary work equates a slovenly appearance.
ReplyDeleteI start to itch whenever I see him.
DeleteJesus is always depicted as having a long beard and long hair. As Christians we need to set and example of not being Judgemental. Love in Christ,
DeleteAnna
This is not a good look for Derick. But, I bet it keeps the mosquitos away!!!😁
ReplyDeleteTake a second look at JoyAnna's eyes commenting on the climate where the Dillard's are ministering. Intense
ReplyDeleteWhat are the Duggars/Dillard's/Seawalds thinking going to a country that they identify as harboring a variety of dangers???? Use your heads! Be responsible!
ReplyDeleteBecause it's not really as dangerous as they want you to think. They were pulling for public sympathy and support at first, for donations. They hyped the danger. They've been down there numerous times over the years. You wouldn't keep going back, with your kids, if it was such a threat.
DeleteI though Derick had his teeth fixed?
ReplyDeleteCurious as to why Derick has so radically changed his appearance. He is a good looking man but this new look really does not do him justice. I wonder how Jill likes it.
ReplyDeletetrimmed short hair and trimmed close to the cheek/jaw/chin/lip beard would be the ideal confident look for Derick.
ReplyDeleteI
ReplyDeleteI wish Derick would shave to look nice.
