Spurgeon Seewald turns six months old in just a couple weeks. As you can see from these two snapshots, he is growing like a weed! Do you think he looks more like a Duggar or a Seewald--or a mixture of both?

ReplyDeleteObviously a little bit of a mixture, but definitely a lot more like his mummy! He's Jessa's mini me, and he's gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand how someone can say he looks like Israel: obviously being cousins they could have some similarities, but Israel is blonde with small eyes, while Spurgeon has big eyes and brown hair.
Also, even just from pictures Spurgeon seems very calm and serafic, while Israel seems to be much more active (even considering the age difference, Israel always seemed to be the baby who would never stop moving).
I agree! He definitely looks more like Jessa. He looks happy or at least content. Most pictures of Izzy, he seems unhappy, stressed out and moving more from agitation rather than happily exploring. I think Jill and Jessa use very different mothering techniques as well.

I bet he will look a lot more like his daddy as he grows up. So get cheek-to-cheek pictures of Ben and Spurgeon as he grows up. You three are a beautiful family. Just wait for that first daughter to get here. Bet she will look more like a Seewald. That happens...Mama's boy and Daddy's girl. But he is very handsome and Ben-ish! I so love his name. Love Spurgeon. I just signed up for Spurgeon's morning and evening devotionals.(Heartside?) What a powerful man of God, and he had such a wonderful way of writing his thoughts so they made Christ leap out of his works. I venture to say, you just keep your eye peeled and you will start seeing baby boys named Spurgeon. You have started something special. People will be using his name for their sons.
