Love that they teach their children these awesome real life skills!
ReplyDeleteNow that was truly heartwarming! Love to see these kinds of stories!
DeleteDon't love that they let kids around those tools by themselves.
DeleteHe's 13...I think it's great!
DeleteGood grief, if a kid has proved himself to be responsible enough to be trusted with tools, there is no reason not to let him do it. Bringing kids up in a bubble so they don't get hurt doesn't help anyone. Accidents are going to happen, you just do what you can to prevent them without taking it too far.
Deletethey weren't by themselves.Ben was there.
DeleteDon't mean to offend, but this opinion is really culturally based. Did you, for example, know that in some African tribes children at the age of 2 (!!) years old know how to handle a machete safely? Please don't think that the only/right way in parenting /education, is the way you have been taught. A Social Worker specialized in intercultural parenting and comunication.
DeleteThank you for giving us an update on on Justin. It is great that he not only knows how but is teaching his younger brother.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome! Some people have a natural skill of mechanics. I am not among them. Lol! God's blessings😊
ReplyDeleteAwesome. Love it!!!
ReplyDeleteI love that all the children girls and boys are taught real life skills such as in their house flipping business it's not just boys doing demo and repairs. The girls also learn how to tile, lay down wood floors, Rick a fireplace or use thinn brick or stone to line a fireplace, they also were taught how to grout, they know how to paint, how to hang Sheetrock. Tons of skills to help them renovate their own homes. Plus now these skills Justin is learning how to be a mechanic! John David runs a big machinery like for construction equipment as well as being a part time Cop, he and his sister Jana learned how to be EMT's earlier on in life. All these life skills round them out educationally for fantastic entrepreneurs!! Plus almost all of them are College educated as well!! Smart group!! Mom & Dad should be very proud of most of their brood, they've turned out well mostly.
ReplyDeleteCollege educated??

ReplyDeleteHow adorable! So neat to see each Duggars exploring what interests them. Their personalities really begin to emerge the older they get. I can't believe that he's old enough now to be working on vehicles! Can't wait to see more of the family on the new series.
ReplyDeleteso good to see some of the younger Duggars! we miss ALL the Duggars and hope to see all of them on the new show. also can't believe how big Jackson is getting - remember him being just a little guy and now he looks almost like a teenage. We love us some Duggars!
ReplyDeleteHello Duggar Family,
ReplyDeleteAfter the scandle it appeared that your family was heading in a wrong direction. I like how you are all moving forward with examples of forgiveness, team work, faith and as a family. I can imagine that other people will give your family another chance or atleast they should. It would be good to see the whole family and hopefully even josh as he can show others how forgiveness and positive change can happen. Every person christian or not makes mistakes. I know I changed my mind as a fan. As long as your family are advocates for family and protection from future sexual abuse, this could bring positive awareness for others who have experienced child sexual abuse. I am a survivor of molestation at the age of 5. So please take this situation and pay it forward as leaders for others in Christ. Good luck as a family. God Bless, your friend and fan who believes that you are really turning a negative into a postive. (from Medford Oregon) P.S. I am christian and believe in God too, just a different denomination. Please also focus on other family members like your example. We like the whole family not just the girls.
Good job Justin!I hope to see all of you back on TLC.Those hate groups that are contacting advertisers need to get a life!Way too much time on their hands! How sad!I couldn't imagine wanting to see a big family with lots of children suffering financially.Seems like that's what they want to see to see them go down.Pretty mean if you ask me.Shouldnt all suffer for one person.Dont see how supporting the Duggars supports abuse that's just twisted !Ive followed them for ten yrs and they give time and money to those less fortunate and are very loving great people!
ReplyDeleteI ❤️Duggars!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on big ratings!
ReplyDeleteI personally give you the biggest fan award Jill Morgan. Do you know them personally? If not maybe one day you can meet them.
DeleteI think it is fantastic as well ^^
ReplyDeleteWow those boys have really grown!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful boy!
ReplyDeleteLove that the humor comes shining through These are some seriously happy people. No reason not to be when you trust God to deal with the hard stuff. Shine your light
ReplyDeleteI REALLY miss the younger kids as well, glad we get to see them again, thanks for keeping us in the loop😊
ReplyDeleteBen is really kind. The new series should focus more on Ben DOING rather than talking because he is not that comfortable in front of the camera and it often comes across as awkward. Jessa too.
ReplyDeleteJustin has not only an interest, but natural skill. It's just shameful he will not be allowed to go to college...a real accredited college...to gain a real degree to someday work a real job in an auto shop. Why are the Duggars so afraid of "the world"? I would think they would have learned to much control and to many rules do not keep someone on the right path. Jesus was in the world--in the marketplace --Mary and Joseph didn't set up a compound where only the like-minded denominational groupies were allowed in. My hope is some of the "middles and littles" will realize education and jobs in the secular world is not evil. It's what you allow in your heart and lives that produce evil.
ReplyDeleteI thought the "little ones" weren't supposed to be alone with older boys?
ReplyDeleteHuh?
DeleteI am so glad to see the Duggars back on TV. I believe that you are called for "Such a time as this". Thank you for being an example of the believers, in forgiveness, mercy and grace. I have enjoyed watching the children grow up into adults. But I miss Jim Bob and Michelle. God Bless you all.
