New EP from Seewald Music

Ben Seewald's sister Danielle Seewald has jump-started her music career. Her first EP, New Take, is now available for download on Amazon MP3, Google Play, and iTunes for $4.95. The songs can also be purchased individually for $0.99 each.

The EP is a collection five of Danielle's favorite tunes, which include:

"The Motions" by Matthew West
"Worth It" by Francesca Battistelli
"I Will Rise" by Chris Tomlin
"Let the Waters Rise" by Mikeschair
"Before the Throne of God Above" by Charitie Lees Bancroft

The EP was produced by Andy Leftwich, a close friend of the Bates family. Below is a preview of "I Will Rise." (Click here to listen to a preview of "Worth It.")

  1. Lovely! Such a beautiful voice. She does need to work on her diction a bit but the Lord has given her a wonderful gift.

  2. This is more understandable than her last clip, but I guess it's the style of singers these days to "swallow" some of their words. Still a few in there that are garbled to older ears. Oh well. Better than some of the things her other sister is posting these days.

    1. Hi there,

EP stands for Extended Play and refers to a CD that is too short to qualify as an album.

  6. She truly has a beautiful voice. Not all musicians have good voices but she's got it.

  9. Another early maturerer from the Seewald family, they really get on with life out of that household. It would be interesting to know how the parents teach those children to be so confident and out there.

  10. Will fans of the Duggars help report people on social media and youtube that are writing vile things about them?Especially the people that make fun of the girls for what happened to them?It breaks my heart so I can only imagine how it must hurt them!

    1. It's freedom of speech. Feeling that you need to "report" someone for doing that is just as petty. If the Duggars have problems with what's online about them, let THEM decide & handle it. Fans cannot clean up the entire Internet by clicking Report.

    2. There's a report button for a reason. Making fun of someone for being molested as a child goes beyond free speech!

    3. The way to end vile things being written about them is for them to step away from the cameras. As long as they have a show, the comments will continue. It happens to anyone in the public eye.

    4. What is the old saying " bad publicity is better than no publicity"? Yes, the Duggars and all associated with them seeking fame and fortune know how to end nasty comments. Go and live like The Word of God says--a peaceable and quiet life minding your own business. Reality TV is neither quiet nor peaceable.

    5. I just think that making fun of the girls for what happened to them could cause damage to their mental health.i m concerned for those girls!!Yeah making fun of sexual abuse goes beyond freedom of speech it's plain wrong!!!!

    6. No making fun of them for what happened is evil and vile. What goes online stays forever. They should not have to read that nor should their kids and so on and so on

    7. People will always say things about them. They did before all this came out. Even if they where to step a way from the camera their big family and how they live their lives will always be scrutinized. People say things about my big family and make assumptions and we are the farthest thing from famous. I guess famous in a small town.

  12. Wow! She has such a beautiful voice! How old is she? I'm gonna guess around 20. Great work Danielle!!! I LOVE the choice of songs! Keep it up. :)

  13. Why does she want to associate with the Duggars? I realize she is Jessa's sister in law, and therefore is promoting herself through their name association, but it doesn't usually end up well for those within the Duggar inner circle. Danielle is the first within this group who has a real talent--a beautiful voice. I hope what seems like an easy way to self-promote doesn't back fire on her.

  15. Why do you have to put stuff about Bens sister she is not a duggar.

Please quick posting things about Bens sister and Anna sister. Like we care about them. We care about the Duggars not their silbings.

I thought this was a Duggar blog not a family blog.

    1. Who are you lumping under "we"? I don't think you can presume to speak for all the readers of this blog. Many of us actually do care about the siblings of the Duggar spouses.

    2. I wish they'd talk more about Derick's brother. They've shown him several times, but have never talked about his education (was he also a Pistol Pete?), his job, if he's married, if he's as highly religious as his brother, etc.

    3. I'd just like to hear more from the actual family. I don't mind the inlaws but your right it seems we hear more from the extended family then the Duggars these days. They are very busy and are going through a lot.

  16. Bless you Duggars, and your extended families. I've never read so many ignorant comments in row.
